Things are starting to get back to normal finally. So far my son has been a very low-maintenance baby that actually sleeps ok, let's hope the trend continues.

Sorry for the lack of activity recently. I put in 3-6 hours of overtime every single day last week either for training or after shift paperwork... And then had a wedding Friday night, then Brewfest yesterday. I'm back on track today, but my folks are in town visiting this week, so my posting will likely be minimal the upcoming week.
Also, glad to hear the little man is sleeping well! I was blessed with that as well; however, I was unfortunately cursed with a pediatrician who felt my son needed to be on a 2 hour feeding schedule for the first several weeks. And that's not 2 hours from the end of the feeding... that 2 hours starts at the very beginning of feeding. So if it takes him an hour to finish feeding, then you start again in another hour. My wife and I were so dead tired... I felt like I was in an episode of The Walking Dead.
At least the overtime will be awesome when you get paid. I worked way too much of it when I was a policeman but the paychecks were nice.

Our overtime budget for the rest of the year is gone. So we're now being "paid" in compensatory time. We each have a bank up to 50 hours. So when we get close to capping out comp time bank, we're supposed to find somewhere to take a day off to keep from going over the CT bank cap. lol!

Hey folks, so another play-by-post game I'm in just lost a player, and we're down to four. I wanted to see if anyone was interested in playing Second Darkness? It's a slow-moving campaign, not quite as slow as this one (no offense Keolin!) but we're on the second book of the AP and we just got to 5th level.
We're on an island, and the character of the missing player, along with a number of other NPCs, died from drowning when a tower fell off a cliff into the sea. A new character could be one of the NPCs in the tower, who are all Cyphermages from Riddleport, or could be a member of another group on the island. For example, as we were getting to the island, a bunch of dwarves were leaving, saying that they had been attacked by strange creatures. A new PC could be one of their number who was separated, or there are other groups who have come here, looking for a meteorite that fell to the island recently, in the hopes of finding skymetal.

Absolutely! I have a character who was in a second darkness game that died at pretty much that exact spot.
His concept is a little odd though. I'd need to convince the GM. Are you running the game?

Every time I go to level Ragnar I run into the same problem. I love his concept, but I can't quite get the mechanics to work how I want them to.
I'm thinking that now with the Variant Multiclass system out, I might be able to come up with something I really like.
For now, I'm just going to leave Ragnar as "partially leveled" (saves and HP up). When I have a build I like ill post it here for approval. I think I can have it done by Saturday morning.
