Lorcan Gimblesprocket
His short legs working hard to keep up, Lorcan asks out of break at a break So, back to the green skin warren to complete our search of it? I suspect we have the bulk of worth from that place, having dispatched the leader and his ogre merc. Greener pastures might be had in another area.
GM Tribute
The party meets up with an experienced scout/skirmisher named Calendir at the Keep and head out to the caves. Calendir was from an elven town not far away. To head to the Keep from his town, Calendir often moved through the ravine that housed the Caves of Chaos. He had noticed that during the day, many of the residents stayed out of the sun. He had taken to scouting the caves at times to hone his skills. Recently he found a well armed group had left a cave he hadn't found before, a covered ogre cave.
After Calendir looked inside the cave, he discovered a treasure cache under a pile of bones.
6 magic arrows +1, a potion of invisibility, and a
magic scroll with 2 cleric spells - cure light wounds (CL1),
hold person (CL3)
GM Tribute
Calendir immediately proves his worth by leading the way into the goblin caves and to the left passages that lead deeper into the hill.
He follows them to a solid wooden door set in the stonework and listens. He hears some rustling around and estimates a half a dozen medium sized creatures moving around. Trying the door, it is locked. The stealthy elf look down the passage and considers calling the heavily armed humans forward.
Map updated Calendir at FC130. Note: in the first cell of the spreadsheet is the cell where the action is centered
Calendir
The half-elf carefully and purposefully examines the door, and the sounds from beyond - on the one hand he is looking for traps, and on the other trying to understand what manner of creatures they may be facing.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
If he finds no traps, he then goes about in trying to simply unlock the door without the ones noticing it.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Disable Device: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Assuming all goes well:
Without opening the door, the rogue returns to his companions, informing of his findings and actions - "A locked door" - he grins - "With at least half a dozen medium sized ones on the other side, as far as I could ascertain. I unlocked the door, so if we manage to approach silently, the element of surprise will be ours" - he comments.
Out of curiosity GM Tribute, what rolls above could have been a 'Take 10' or a 'Take 20'? I'm juts asking so I can use it accordingly next time ;)

She swings at the hobgoblin she is flanking with Calendir.

Combat over in this room!
Room is cleared. Pursuit??
GM Tribute
The adventurers look over the loot found from the hobgoblins, declining to chase the lone survivor into the darkness.
150 silver between them after an extensive, thorough search. Their rations are not very appetizing.
Also they had 6 suits of studded leather, 6 longswords, 6 wooden heavy shields, and 6 longbows.

Calendir dashes up to the corner, but does not pursuit, instead keeping watch.
Moved on the map
He notices Meztli crumbling to the ground, and nods at Zoros - "How is she" - he whispers.
Once things are more quiet, I think Calendir will take one of those longbows, even though he is not proficient with it :/

it was the rage. It sustained here beyond her normal health. When it ended she could not continue without healing. Quickly, heal her.
Meztli, Quetzalcoatl, I recall from the old D&D days, is a good deity, yet you are neutral. Were you good, Locan could heal you some. If you agree that Quetzalcoatl is indeed a good aligned deity then perhaps over time you might come to change... ?
Lorcan Gimblesprocket
Meanwhile Lorcan will use some Heavenly Fire on Ingrid.
Heavenly Fire : 2d4 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7
Calendir, you wounded? Heavenly Fire heals good aligned people and harms evil aligned people. Lorcan can use it 7 times a day.
Zoros Kiirassi
Zoros strides over to the supine form of Meztli, grasps her shoulder and says "St Cuthbert still has work for you, Meztli!". He then intones the holy words of St Cuthbert, a glow emanating from his hands to the wounds on the barbarian's body.
Cure Light Wounds 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
He pauses to examine his handiwork.
Meztli
Meztli is neutral, but might eventually take on a different alignment. Quetzalcoatl is good-aligned, but as a barbarian, I didn't need to match his alignment exactly, and neutral seemed to better fit the character.
Some of Meztli's wounds knit and she draws a deep breath. Still not completely familiar with local customs, she nods curtly to her savior as an admission of thanks.

My bad guys - sorry for the delay Lorcan.
Calendir is not wounded - lucky first I guess :D But yeah, he is good, so that is important info :D
