            Covered by mage armor, Lorcan had fired a crossbow at the hobgoblin with two swords as he approached sinking a crossbow deeply and barely missing a vital spot. hit/conf/dam: 1d20 ⇒ 201d20 ⇒ 41d8 ⇒ 8
Lorcan ignores the crossbow and casts a spell confoundinge raging hobgoblin with the falchion.

Confused he stand there blankly as the hobgoblin with the whip cracks the whip around the feet of the fighter to pull Turk to the ground.

Turk falls with a curse.  Human prisoners chained to the far wall begin to encourage you and cheer, but have mostly groaned as first Meztli and then Turk have fallen.  Meztli stabilizes under the healing of Ingrid. having taken 13 total damage now

            Calendir curses, as his companions get hit left and right, then dashes into action, squeezing by Ingrid, then feinting left, and pushing through the space occupied by the hobgoblin with the short swords, trying to nimbly dodge his attacks, and occupy an advantageous position.
I'm gonna regret this, but it is the only way I can get to the other side, and be effective... Gonna try to use acrobatics through DU:130, moving half my speed (15'), and ending in DV:130, attacking with flank :D

            Zoros touches Meztli and she awakes.  The hobgoblin with the falchion swings at Ingrid knocking her down.  Lorcan reloads his crossbow.  Turk swings at the raging hobgoblin and sinks his longsword deeply into him--it is amazing he still stands.

            The elven rogue dashes towards the whip wielding hobgoblin, but spins in place at the last moment to flank the falchion wielding one, taking advantage of Turk's position, and stabbing at their foe's ribs.

            If you can channel Zoros you might save a life. GM Tribute, I do not see my daze resolved. And I am confused about order. If Lorcan's daze went off before the hobgoblin then it could bus dazed and take no aoo ro attack. If not then Lorcan could instead try to heal the rogue before he dies. I have to admit that I never know who is up in this game. I think people posting our of order confuses it. But I am in a handful of games that use bold differently than you in the init order and I stay confused.
