There has never been a halberd guy--I listed them by weapon: 2xshortsword, falchion, and whip. As for people posting out of order, the posting rate (greater than one day lags) is not fast enough to wait for each person's turn in initiative, so I take posts when I can get them. If someone acts, I unbold them, so bold means not yet acted. So Lorcan has an action remaining and can heal Calendir as he is CG to stabilize him. Zoros already rolled dice, so it is difficult to undo his actions.

Started getting back on track with posting today, but for some reason decided to upgrade to Windows 8.1... Don't know what possessed me to do that... Now I am still waiting for it to finish clogging up my PC...
I might just partition it and install Windows 7 again to be honest.
Will post as soon as possible.

Hello people,
Wanted to let you know I am going on a few days vacations with my family this Sunday, and will only be back on next Friday.
I am supposed to have wifi coverage, and will most likely be able to check the boards, but my posting will surely be spotty, if any.
Feel free to bot me as needed to keep the game moving ;)

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

I wanted to give a heads up that I'll be traveling from Wednesday through Sunday (going to Gen Con) and my posting will be limited. I'll still try to check this game at least once a day, but will likely be posting from a phone when I do post.

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

Well, I am traveling again tomorrow, headed to DragonCon and will not be back until Monday night. I'll have a laptop and should be abel to post most days but likely not more than once a day. Please bot me if you need to. Everyone have a good Labor Day weekend.

If we have lost our freed prisoners we have also lost any possible reward for freeing them. What do we have in the way of loot from this excursion? I have lost track. Seems like a long time ago that we set out in real time.

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

Yea. Me too. Perhaps we are hitting the wrong caves and there are other caves that would be easier of us at level one. Also I know we are not optimized for fighting. We need better gear and better tactics. I am unsure of how much look we were able to get out of this last visit to the caves. the 50 gp each reward should help though.

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

Cool. I could see us trying to convince the folks in charge of the keep that is a good risk to arm this tribe, but baring that it seems crazy to try, at least to me.
I have gone back a looked at what loot we fond on this last foray and will list it below. Note that we might not have been able to carry the bulkier stuff so I need GM intervention here to say what we actually drug out.
6 magic arrows +1
a potion of invisibility
a magic scroll with 2 cleric spells - cure light wounds (CL1), hold person (CL3)
150 silver
6 suits of studded leather, 6 longswords, 6 wooden heavy shields, and 6 longbows.
The Hobgoblin gear from the Prisoner's room fight including halbeard, greatsword, chain mail, etc Some of this was used by the prisoners that went down in the fight.
50 gp each from merchants

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

Post 354 from you says:
"The party meets up with an experienced scout/skirmisher named Calendir at the Keep and head out to the caves. Calendir was from an elven town not far away. To head to the Keep from his town, Calendir often moved through the ravine that housed the Caves of Chaos. He had noticed that during the day, many of the residents stayed out of the sun. He had taken to scouting the caves at times to hone his skills. Recently he found a well armed group had left a cave he hadn't found before, a covered ogre cave.
After Calendir looked inside the cave, he discovered a treasure cache under a pile of bones.
Calendir:
Add the following to your equipment
6 magic arrows +1, a potion of invisibility, and a
magic scroll with 2 cleric spells - cure light wounds (CL1),
hold person (CL3)"
So I do not understand when you say it was never found.

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

OK. But I need either an ok form you that we were able to bring out there rest of the loot, or a clarification on how much we could have brought out? And if we left stuff behind, it might become important where we left it.
Also, what do you mean that you will "add them to the list"?

GM Tribute |

I will be trying to make a loot list to make things easy. We definitely can improve on bookkeeping. Zoros show his wand at full charges, which I know it can't be.
Taking Lorcan's excellent post after fighting the goblins we have
18 Crude Short Swords - 45 gold
18 Crude Short Bows - 130 gold
Around 100 arrows - 2.5 gold
8 large sacks - 4 silver
Keg of Brandy - 80 gold
Silver Cup - 90 gold
Selling all this and adding up all the coin we have;
1031 gold, 105 electrum, 608 silver + 124 silver
Hard cheese, a large leather bag.
6 magic arrows +1, a potion of invisibility, and a magic scroll with 2 cleric spells - cure light wounds (CL1), hold person (CL3)
Adding what the hobgoblins had
6 suits of studded leather, 6 longswords, 6 wooden heavy shields, and 6 longbows.
Then what the mercenaries didn't take from the torturers
whip and two short swords and suit of chain mail

GM Tribute |

Party treasure list:
1031 gold, 105 electrum, 608 silver + 124 silver
Hard cheese, a large leather bag.
300gp handed as reward for rescuing merchants
Items kept but not sold yet:
6 magic arrows +1, a potion of invisibility, and a magic scroll with 2 cleric spells - cure light wounds (CL1), hold person (CL3)
6 suits of studded leather, 6 longswords, 6 wooden heavy shields, and 6 longbows.
suit of chain mail whip and two short swords
CLW that has seen some use (I haven't been tracking this)
The last question: I do not remember (there are two groups and sometimes you blur together) is what you did with the valuable tapestry.

Zoros Kiirassi |

Checked back ....I've used up 10 charges on the CLW wand. Sorry about not keeping track.
I guess it makes sense that Zoros take the scroll...
And just to clarify, we're still 1st level, need 3800xp as a party for us to get to 2nd level?

GM Tribute |

Yes (3200 Xp and you each have 2000XP on med progression), the other group has claimed a level has never meant as much to them. Going by the book, it can definitely take a while. At least we are not doing slow progression.
Some people used to tell me you should go up a level every session. We used to laugh about that. The B modules were supposed to get you to about third level.

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

I am looking for the extra hit points of a new level more than anything else. Right now a single sword hit can drop me. :)
GM Tribute, when you say included in your totals, do you mean already handed out and should be on our character sheets or that its in the total in your post above?

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

Selling the mundane items we would have:
6 suits of studded leather - 60 gp, sell for 30
6 longswords - 75 gp, sell for 37.5
6 wooden heavy shields - 42 gp, sell for 21
6 longbows - 300 gp, sell for 150
suit of chain mail - 150 gp, sell for 75
whip - 1 gp, sell for .5
2 short swords - 20 gp sell for 10
That is a total of 324 gold. But if anyone needs any of this please speak up. Adding in the reward money makes is 624 gp, or 104 gold each.
I am unsure what if anything we had already distributed from the previous gold.
Our rogue had the potion of invisibility and our cleric has the scroll. Does anyone desire to keep the 6 +1 arrows? If not those can be sold for 276.3 gold, or 46.05 gold each.

Lorcan Gimblesprocket |

Ok. To finalize this selling - Everyone gains 104 more gold from the last run. Calendir gains 6 +a arrows and potion of Invisibility. He sort of found these before he joined us anyway. But he has given our Zoros the scroll with 2 spells - cure light wounds (CL1), hold person (CL3), which should help us all out.
I do not believe all the other wealth including the gold for the tapestry has been distributed based on Lorcans money and gear on hand which consists of 52 gold and and a wand worth 75 gold for a total of 127. This is the total we would have had (Minus some upkeep) without the tapestry added in. So I proposed that we each (not counting Calendir) should have 100 more gold from the sale of that tapestry.
So Calendar adds 104 gold plus items. The rest adds 204 gold, and Zoros also adds the scroll. This is correct to my best ability to figure. Please correct me if you disagree GM Tribute.
