I was telling my fiancé about Cuddles last night, and he said he'd love for him to meet his own character in Plunder & Peril - a half-orc barbarian called Francesca, or 'Frog'. He's dumb as a doorstop, and carries around a badly-taxidermied choker head, which he calls "Little Grey Head" and treats as an imaginary friend of sorts. Little Grey Head also acts as a moral compass and, on occasion, wingman.
I allow him to use it as a masterwork tool granting +2 to diplomacy (giving him a total mod of +0), because it turns out Little Grey Head is surprisingly eloquent.

D'oh! Yes, I need to do that >.> I'm getting ready for work now, but hopefully tonight I can get that done. You decided there was no chance of scribing from scrolls or spellbooks, right? Leaving me with just my spells learned from progression?

Hmm...I'm not sure what I said? Search the thread? FOR FOOLS.
Let's do it this way: Anything from the core book 2nd level or below has been potentially available for you to buy as a scroll. If you buy it, you can copy. No other spellbooks have made it into Anton's hands...yet.

I'm off to bed, I'll get on tomorrow while at work. Oh, Thursday I'm going to be driving from Missouri to Ohio (for you US people). So I may not be very active, just thought I should let you know in advance. This weekend in general might be low in activity from me, going home for my brothers 21st. ^_^
I'll try and get the posts in when I can though.

Hey, when I read some in inner sea gods, and looked at Erastil, Deadeye's temperment that tends to rub off on priests and priestesses is described as..., paternal. Nothing like a good mother hen to start a fracas.

Kingmaker Devon |

It surely will involve a lake. Either driven by or to.
No worries Mattrim like I said, if folks aren't super active I will assume they are on autopilot. Taking a moment to be thoughtful and quiet.
Unless its Cuddles, if he isn't active I assume he is on autopilot attempting to eat, or thinking about eating or possibly hitting something, but never being thoughtful beyond that ;p

Hugging Devon, you must remember he is always on target aquisition for hugs.

Good morning everyone, it is currently far too early to conceivably be awake! But here I am.
Oh and I live in the Columbia area, near Mizzou, my girlfriend is a Veterinary student there (<- I'm technically from Ohio but here while she's in school, till Summer 2017 or so).

Natasha Medvyed |

I'll propably be less active over the weekend as well.
We have our bi-weekly pathfinder session, and that includes friends from other cities visiting and staying over and some hardcore gaming ;)
But I'll check in the evenings.
(I'm really looking forward to it, we were polymorphed into animals and are to infiltrate a rival wizard to get turned back XD
Yeay Python Power!
The GM is rather "unconventional" - a nice break, usually I GM and don't get to playing much offline myself)

Kingmaker Devon |

Works been busy but you guys are off to a great start. I'm content to let everyone bounce of each other for another day or so and then will usher us along to the "meat and potatoes" as it were.
I will get back to you Ra'hl about who signed the charter. I have that noted somewhere but can't seem to find it ATM.

Anton Marakov |

Man, I can't keep up with this. You're all leaving me in the lurch! :P
Hoping to have my shopping and updating done tonight, as well as a post. I'm honestly not sure how Anton would react to all these people, but they're interfering with what little order was left here ;-)

In all honesty we might have a conversation about (if folks want) splitting the group up into teams from time to time. At 7 PCs you are riding a little deep (my preference is actually 6 rather than the standard 4) but with the NPCS around you could easily break up into squads. Food for thought.
@Anton - You and me both. Funny enough at night I go hours with no one acting very much because of the time difference then I get to work and *poof* a bunch of posts from the other hemisphere. Sorta funny but also sort of intense.

Cuddles |

This is the honeymoon period where the new characters are getting into their skin. The posting rate will slow a bit when we get going, giving our more time-restricted members (like Anton and myself) to have our time to shine. I'm not really concerned.
The trick is keeping a satisfactory and consistent post rate overt time. :)

Ra'hl Rogarvia |

Velma, you go with Scooby and Shaggy to kill the Stag Lord. Daphne and I will go check out this abandoned cabin for a few hours.
Splitting up seems reasonable except for the very important things I think.

Aleria EagleEye |

Drive safe.
From the KC area myself. So its random to find someone in the MO area on the boards. it makes me feel like i'm not in Kansas anymore.

Duška Umírajícíkrev |

@Devon: Plan to smatter Duška's musings and talk with mention of the bandit gang she ran with: The Shallow Graven; Sour Veck (their leader), the Nettle twins, the brute Northman Krunnd, and her mentor; the elf Fallenoak.
Know that her hooks and such will be less far reaching than some of the noble subterfuge that the blue blooded amongst our company will create, but wanted to give you some insight to possibly inspire :)

@Duska: Oh I noticed. Ignore the man behind the curtain...
@Anybody who cares about the politics: Both charters are signed by Lord Mayor Ioseph Sellemius of Restov. Technically Restov is a free city but it has to obey the throne and its one of the biggest cities in Rostalnd so its pretty clear whose "side" they are on politically. Basically the throne told Restov to deal with the Stolen Lands and Restov's solution was to draw the map up into 4 sections and send out 4 groups to clean things up. This is the "Greenbelt" group.
According to Natasha there may have been missions out and about before these "official" charters were issued. And according to Osk (as all of you will find out when I post in a minute) there are rumors the nature of the charters will change if things go "well". Clearly this all has implications for Brevoy politics in both subtle and egregious ways.

Aleria EagleEye |

Ra'hl, that is what happens when I watch a couple hours of old political speeches before making a post.

Just a clarification to this in case some of you don't know the politics of Brevoy very well. When I say its clear whose side they are on, its Rostland. If there were to be war or some schism in politics Restov would tell the throne, as it currently exists at least, to go f~$~ itself. This is what makes the solution of the charters so interesting in a sense, is it obeying the letter of the law (to deal with the problem) while actually not acting on it (as a away to frustrate the throne) or is the charter scenario actually the best possible scenario for sussing out the issues of the Stolen Lands? We will see ;p

The bit on Ra'hl should be a pretty low DC for anyone in the area I think. The King and everyone in his line vanishing in one night would be talk of the towns for a bit in my humble opinion.
