On the other hand paizo going down gave me an opportunity to read some funny stuff on TV tropes.
In a deleted scene, Charles projects Erik in drag (yes, you read that correctly) and remarks, "You've never looked more beautiful, darling." There are a million other things Charles could've conjured with his mind to make Angel giggle, and creating an image of his best friend in make-up, with a ginger wig, dressed in a sparkly blue miniskirt, fishnet stockings and go-go boots is, uh... unusually kinky.
So yeah I really can’t imagine Magneto cross dressing =P
Ratel Dier
yes, well sort of, I started it with Sariel as a paladin, then about half way through, I dropped out when my father-in-law got sick. Then when they started the second mod. "Mask of the living god" They re-posted so I rejoined with Hyder, playing a unchained rogue. but we didn't get very far out of Kassen, when the GM disappeared.

I know…you either ROFL or take sanity damage :P For me was ROFL(was chortling on the train), but my mind works in strange ways..
I honestly think Charles Xaiver would look better in drag. He’s got that pretty boy look about him :P
Orlando Bloom also can pull it off.
Generally if you want to cross dress, you pull it off better if you’re thin, and fair, and preferably not too bulky.
We did cross dressing experiments on our class guys in college before ;)
GM Mort
Thanks for the compliment but honestly that’s what the mod gave so I copy/pasted.
*blushes*
Credit where credit’s due.
GM Mort
Of course it wasn’t. But kids will be kids. At least it’s probably less destructive then drinking and throwing up after. Or smoking/chewing recreational drugs and going on a trip ;)
To be honest I don’t do a very good job of describing scenery(because I need to imagine out the place before I can describe it, and it takes time), but if you’re looking for inspired NPC conversations I do pretty well.

For Equities sake, since what’s good for the goose is good for the gander:
If you’re talking about me cross dressing as a guy? Would love to give it a shot(since I'm rather tomboyish), but I wouldn’t do it well. My face is too round and good natured, and besides I’m rather shapely.
For girls cross dressing as guys, you really want to be flat, and more wiry kind. Also more on the tall side. Doesn’t really matter if you’re fair or dark. I look rather on the short and plump side instead.
Also if I’m making people uncomfortable, sorry. To me it’s just a bit of silly fun.
Hedran
True, true. Definitely less destructive and brain cell damaging. though its also a part of being a kid I guess, to an extent.
And yep, I've noticed you ace the NPC interactions/conversations :D
As for scenery and combat descriptions - have you ever read anything from R.A. Salvatore? His combats are so vivid I can almost feel Drizzt's scimitars flying by.
EDIT: No discomfort here. A conversation is just that.

I read R.A Salvatore. But the problem is probably that I have never been in a fight before, nor done any weapons work(HEMA) etc. I suspect that Salvatore probably took some blade classes or whatsoever.
So yeah I have no idea how a fight actually works, the best I’d come up with is..stick the pointy end into the bad guys, and ”Go for the Eyes, Boo!”
Hell, the last time I was at a fun fair, I couldn’t even pull the bow right…the part about bending your elbow inwards so that it’s parallel to the bowstring, otherwise the bowstring will cut your elbow when you fire…eh I never got that one down right. I’m not very coordinated in RL.
I’d probably have more experience with unarmed fighting, as opposed to using weapons, because I go for body combat class at the gym.
I’ve sparred only…once in my entire life? And it was all unarmed.
Then here’s also a pet peeve of mine. If I describe the creature parries the blow with his sword, in pathfinder mechanics it may lead you to believe that creature has something like snake style or is using Opportune Parry and Riposte, which may not be correct at all.
Hedran
Yep, I was thinking the exact same thing - either he took lessons or he's watched and read a lot about sword/blade fighting.

Awwwwwwww man! I have so many good memories from Minsk and Boo.
The only combat training I ever had were some random Krav Maga lessons, and Judo for a couple of years (though it is more sport than combat).

Ninja'd by Mort!
So the biggest problem with the conversation, is that I'm at work and the 'clients' are asleep. I'm trying to not laugh out loud and wake them up.
Yeah, I like the intro also. Speaking of NPC's the problem is we've gotten to know people from the town and their being attacked, so if were not careful friends are going to die.
I've read some Salvatore, I think the first five or six Drizzt's books, I do think his discriptive quality is one of his strong points.
I often wonder how much of the setting is his 'world building' and how much if it is core D&D, I mean it all is core now, but how much of it did he create and WOTC go "hey that's good we'll keep that"
looks around suspiciously Ummmmm the Paizo police won't be offended if we talk about the 'other guys' will they?
comments on Mort's Ninja
I've been in fights, the good news is the combatants weren't very good at it, so no permanant scars...

I think Bear already took his 5 ft step? Bear currently providing flanks with red.
GM Mort
One square south no flanking light blue. If bear had flanks the last claw would have hit.To flank, Hedran needs to ready to attack when bear is in position.
GM Mort
Bear one south, no. because you need to do this:
When in doubt about whether two characters flank an opponent in the middle, trace an imaginary line between the two attackers’ centers. If the line passes through opposite borders of the opponent’s space (including corners of those borders), then the opponent is flanked. See the grey line I drew for example.
GM Mort
Issue with total defense is that you don't threaten that's why I didn't count bear with flank, since it's ambiguous when Hedran and Ratel take their turns and Hedran's total defense stops. Hedran, your AC drops to 16 as you're no longer using total defense.
Hedran
Gotcha. I suspected as much. Thanks Mort.

Yeah I got that. And I agree.
EDIT: AC corrected

Sorry for being absent. The website has been wonky, then a power outage due to a storm. But I'm back now.
* I've played through part of Crypt of the Everflame. Up to where we actually entered the crypt.
* I agree that the intro was awesome. Not only does it give us a chance to know one another, but gives us a chance to care about the 'faceless' npc townsfolk.
* Matthew Mercer of Critical Role fame gave some advice on describing scenes. Use the senses. Not just sight and sound, but also smell and even touch. My little bit of advice is, when describing a fight, don't worry about the rules. Sure, people will read more into it than what's there, but it will allow you to set the scene like you want.
* You want to dress up like a dude, then dress up like a dude. I've seen lots of make-up tutorials on YouTube about shading and coloring and I'm sure you could come up with a look that you like.
GM Mort
I'll say however you choose, people will die. It's just who dies or who doesn't. If you really want to save the max number of people possible, you need to split the party up.
GM Mort
Who are the NPCs going with?
You've currently collected Leo(a mercenary), Aubrin (a cleric with a problem), Fizzbang(a gnome entertainer) and Jet(the inn keeper), and the traders (Cildon and Farrow), Kaelan the lumberjack and Billy the fisherman. I'll pass you their stats later.

Cayden Cailean
Note that Aubrin is probably the most combat capable of the lot, but her problem means everytime she's running into combat, it's will saves or do nothing.
GM Mort
I put the other side in spoilers, so that its' less confusing but for both sides, feel free to read the other side's engagements.
GM Mort
Sorry for confusion, but I'll say that Leo is with the shrine party and not Ratel and Bear.
GM Mort
If Nigel and Ratel finish off Oreld's then just both of them standby while they wait for the other side getting to Kinning's.
Also having praying session now so yeah will pop out. Nephew made a surprise visit this morning so I had to entertain him.
