No worries. With the holidays up through this week I knew there could easily have been a chance of being away and didn't push on it. I'll bot Forlen's turn tomorrow night if he hasn't had a chance to chime in yet.

The medical bot seems especially injured by Smith's blast, but not enough to ignore the threat of the half orc looming over it. It moves towards the wall and starts trying to push Dromer towards the beds, while attempting to aggressively inject him with whatever is in its vats. Luckily, those attempts fail.

Please relax. The doctor will be with you shortly.

The true indicator that Dromer is raging

Your final assault obliterates any hope of this robot ever finding repair as it crumbles to a pile of rubble. Iantha heals the man on the table, who is still unconscious. He's locked into the table, but disabling the machine Disable Device, or "turning it off" via physical beating, should allow you to remove him.

Female half-elf "paladin" of Desna 1 | HP 13/18 | AC 17 | Fort +5, Ref +7, Will +5 | Focus points 0/1 | Perception +1 | Hero points: 2

Miranda's little pile of rocks, Tula, pokes what passes for her head out of Miranda's pack at her side, sees the automaton utterly obliterated, gives a shudder, and hides herself right back inside the bag.
"Do not worry, my dear, strange friend. We would not do that to you. Well done, my friends. I am running low on magical ability... we should try to get this man to safety and rest."

"Poor man, let me check if he's even in any condition to be moved."

Iantha carefully examines the man.

heal check: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

As close as he is to death, the machine seems to be closing the wounds through suture an cauterization as it causes them. Not enough to help him, but enough to keep him from falling apart if you move him. As you look, a blade of the machine reaches down as if to cut at the man again, but instead cuts through the air less than an inch from his leg.

Ratfolk Iron Priest of Brigh | HP 9/9 | AC 16 | Touch 12 | FF 15 | Fort +3 | Ref +1 | Will +5 | Percption +1 | Scent | Darkvision | Channel Energy 5/5

Frustrated, Iantha looks at the machine. "Does someone know more about these machines? It seems to be harming and healing at the same time. If we could turn off the harm part... Or turn it off alltogether so I can try and heal him again. But if we turn it off we would need to time it. Poor man is in a bad shape."

"Careful, that sawblade's getting awfully close to your arm. But how's the patient? Any luck reviving him?"

Upon examining the table, it seems that it was designed to automate minor surgeries. Although it is currently doing more harm than good, that is likely due to malfunction, not intent. Your examinations have given you some insight into how it works, and how to more easily shut it off.

Anyone can make a Disable Device DC 13 check to shut it off. Because of Smith's check, anyone may ignore the usual penalties of not having the Technologist feat

Good time for the high roll. A failure meant his death... and not a clean one

Iantha and Miranda easily disable the device, and you hear the room go quiet as it shuts down. The man is unconscious, but safe and alive (if only barely). The doors can be locked with the key card you found earlier, and he should be safe in here while you clear the rest of the area before bringing him - and anyone else down here - back to town. Quickly searching the room, you find a small box with four timeworn flare guns, two bang grenades, and one soft grenade. The guns appear recently used and in fair enough condition, for their age.

[retired]

Dromer glances over the items and handles them momentarily as the more tech-savvy people inspect them. "Huh. Interesting."

After he hands them over, he rubs the back of his head uncomfortably. "The League would probably kill for these, huh? What should we do with them?"

HP 23/24 AC 17 (18 vs robots) T 13 (14 vs robots) F 15 | F +5 R +2 W +6 | Init +3 | Perception +8 (Darkvision 60 & lowlight)

"Throw 'em into the ocean, is what I would do. No good can come of that stuff. One wrong move and your remains'll end up in a crater. Other than that, throw them at the League or their 'bots sounds like a good idea as well. I wouldn't want them to end up on the black market, who knows what'll happen then. Either way, I'm not comfortable with carrying them around, but if anyone wants to blow stuff up, be my guest."

Female half-elf "paladin" of Desna 1 | HP 13/18 | AC 17 | Fort +5, Ref +7, Will +5 | Focus points 0/1 | Perception +1 | Hero points: 2

Miranda scoffs at Forlen's suggestion. "Those items will be useful to us in FIGHTING the League, why would we throw them away? I will take one of the guns." she says, and if no one objects will hold onto one of the flare guns in case she runs into something her magic missiles cannot deal with. She also inspects all the tech items.

Knowledge (engineering) with Technologist feat on guns: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 With that roll, Miranda should have no problem knowing how to operate the flare guns and what they will do.

"These guns can be fired only once, but are accurate at a very long range. We should keep them."

Knowledge (engineering) with Technologist feat on bang grenades: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23

"These two grenades will stun opponents briefly."

Knowledge (engineering) with Technologist feat on soft grenade: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15 Not totally sure she'd know how this one works, so I'll wait for GM verification before she describes their use.
