Are they planning to return to town now? If so I'd be happy to be knocking on their gates as they arrive.
How many mercenaries would be reasonable for Marcus to have? I plan on having them just absorbed into forces of the kingdom anyways.
If you let me know when the party arrives, I'm happy to write up a big dramatic post to get it started!

So I've become somewhat familiarized with the kingdom you all have been building (and I'm very familiar with the kingdom building rules), but what are your objectives right now? What are we wanting to spend our kingdom building turns on at the moment?

We're currently a little lower than our target numbers for Stability and Loyalty, so the goal is to bump them up cheaply. Brewery's are hard to beat for that (6BP for a bump to both).
For expansion, generally take a plains/hills hex and a forest hex every round at the moment and build farms to keep us even on consumption. Roads *mostly* on the plains/hills, though we've built some in the other hexes as well.

Excellent, it sounds like you guys mostly know what's going on and have decided the path forward.
How do we want to handle integrating Marcus into the party and the ruling class? Right now he is in as a mercenary mostly.

I believe Radomir was the Warden - we could rotate Marcus into that role. I think it's just a Loyalty check to make the transition.
If we need to really bump loyalty, we could build a monument celebrating our victory over the Troll King Hargulka, with his club as the centerpiece.

Warden would probably be the best role for Marcus. He is used to overseeing mercenaries and stepping in when necessary, so overseeing law enforcement and stepping in for party adventuring when needed would be an easy transition for him.

Actually the more I brush up on the descriptions I like General a little better. Would still be cool with Warden but I like General a lot.
Boi I can't wait to start this leg. Marcus is a fun leader :)

            Sorry for the delay.
I'm going to need to work out a new map. Once I do that we an figure out what hexes to grab. Creating a map for this game has been way more trouble than it should be. I'm not entirely sure why.
I should have it done tomorrow and we can push on.

            Okay, so recommendations for hexes:
We have two hexes that aren't on the current map listed. (07,07 and 06,08)
05,07 (Hills- where the swamp witch is) 1BP
09,06 (Hills - Nettle's crossing) 1BP
05,07 - Farms - 4BP
05,07 - Road/Bridge - 6BP
09,06 - Farms - 4BP
This does mean that we'll go negative on our consumption, but we have some room in the granaries this turn so it won't go to waste. It means next turn we can afford to expand into the woods and build some other stuff.
For buildings, I'd say Breweries in both settlements. That'll be 6BP each.
Total cost: 28 BP
Current Treasury: 31 BP
Any ideas?

The next question is, can we avoid the Unrest increase for moving Kesten out of the General position and making him Mayor of Voronakholm? He's technically abdicating but I'm hoping the "for another position" can be applied here. :)
If we qualify for "abdicating for another role" then the Loyalty roll is:
Loyalty +28 (+4 bonus) with a DC of 39
I think it's only right that the new General roll it. :)

The cult of Gyronna. I don’t know if we have found anything out or not.
Improvements and territory look good to me. I think we can manage to avoid unrest, and we do have a royal enforcer who can try to lower it if we take the hit.

Sounds good to me! It seems you have a pretty good grasp of what's going on (as a ruler should) so I'll chime in if I see something I think needs doing.
So the roll is 1d20+28+4 with a DC of 39, correct? I'll get that up in gameplay.

            Turn 16 Upkeep Phase:
1. Stability Check: DC 39, roll is at +33
2. Pay Consumption: Consumption 0
3. Fill Vacant Magic Item Slots: Two minor wondrous items
4. Modify Unrest: 0
Andrea, want to make a Stability check?

            Turn 16 Edict Phase:
1. Assign Leadership: Marcus becomes the General
2. Claim and Abandon Hexes: Claiming [05,07] (1BP), Claiming [09,06] (1BP)
3. Build Terrain Improvements: Farm on [05,07] (4BP), Farm on [09,06] (4BP), Roads/Bridge on [05,07] (6BP)
4. Create and Improve Settlements: Brewery in Voronakholm [6 BP], Brewery in Novyi Svet [6 BP]
5. Create Army Units: No changes
6. Issue Edicts: Promotion (Standard) (Stability +2, -2BP), Taxation (Normal) (+2 Economy, - 2 Loyalty), Holidays (6) (+2 Loyalty, -2 BP)
Current Treasury: 3 BP
Economy Roll: 1d20+61/3 +6BP

If we've got the extra cash, maybe create a new army unit, representing Marcus's troops being integrated into our military.

We could do that. We've got 3BP in the Treasury and can afford up to 4 more consumption (though we probably want to limit it to 2 so we can afford some expansion without farms next turn).
Any suggestions?
Also, someone needs to roll Economy!

Event chance is at 75%. So, 0-74% no event, 75-100% event.
Event Roll:
1d100 ⇒ 98
No event for this turn.
For the Gyronna cult. You haven't found anything further. If there are any left in your town, they are keeping a very low profile.
The one you had captured at the shop was not able to give you any information of any of groups of cultist. Apparently the midwife was in charge of their group and only the group leaders had contact info for each other. Seems like the cultists weren't very trusting folks and had a fear of infiltrators.
