Ah, see, I always thought the goal with Stability was to be able to pass no matter what you rolled.
Otherwise, I like the construction options. We should look into building a few shrines down the line - Erastil, Abadar, and Shelyn, since she seems popular with our new neighbors. That would also give us a Loyalty boost.
I think we can safely neglect Economy for the couple turns it will take us to build them - we are in great shape there.

I agree. We're good on economy. It needs to keep growing to keep pace with our expansion, but I think we're in a good place right now.
I'd *like* to get to pass Stability no matter what, but if we miss it by less than 5, the consequences are minor and we can quickly mitigate it. Wee just don't want to ever let it dip low enough to miss it by more. Also, events can quickly make things go downhill.
Our big goals, as far as I can tell, are:
1. A stockyard in Voronakholm - this will boost our Consumption mitigation by a bunch as we keep expanding.
2. Shrines/Temples - I'm all for a wide variety of shrines and temples. I think we can eventually afford to open up a second District in Voronakholm and start putting a bunch of the city admin and religious stuff there.
3. Military Academy - expensive, but our troops end up being *significantly* better than the average.
4. Waterfront - This is expensive, so a long term plan, but helps with Taxes (and loyalty) so it's good in the long long run.
I think pretty much everything else is just to keep our stats up. There's a lot of good flavor stuff in there and I think we're about at the stage that we can afford to buy things that are some "personal project" style expansions.

Oh, also note that the optional rules for deity specific shrines alters the benefits for them and temples. Lawful is particularly good for Economy, but we have a wide variety of gods that the local people like, and can manage to gt just about any bonus combination we end up needing.
As long as they aren't Chaotic, they're welcome here. ;)

Worshipers of Gorum might take offense to that one (Gorum is Chaotic Neutral).
But yeah, I figure we'll have enough variety in our deity selections that all will be welcome here. I didn't even know about the optional rules for deity-specific shrines. Got a link I can read up on them at?

Instead of Cathedrals, Shrines, and Temples providing the same bonuses to Economy, Loyalty, and Stability regardless of that building’s religious affiliation, they can instead provide a bonus to an attribute related to the alignment of the god worshiped.
A Temple increases attributes as follows: Chaotic: Loyalty +2; Evil: Economy +2; Good: Loyalty +2; Lawful: Economy +2; Neutral: Stability +2 (apply this twice if the god’s alignment is simply Neutral, not Chaotic Neutral or Lawful Neutral). a Cathedral increases these attributes by 4 instead of 2. a Shrine increases one attribute, and only by 1; for example, a lawful good Shrine increases Economy by 1 or Loyalty by 1).
Instead of granting alignment-based bonuses, a religious building may grant bonuses based on the portfolio of its chosen god. For example, a Temple of the goddess of wine may increase Economy and Loyalty (the same attributes as a Tavern) each by 2, and a Temple of the god of greed may increase Economy and Stability (the same attributes as a Black Market) each by 2. These values replace the building’s normal modifiers to Economy, Loyalty, and Stability, and should never provide bonuses greater than the building’s normal bonuses (+1 for a Shrine, +4 for a Temple, +8 for a Cathedral).

Looks like Alexander wins 3 out of 5 on the treaty, so we can decide to either go balanced or unbalanced. I'm inclined to go unbalanced if only because we could use more Infamy. That and because our economy *far* exceeds theirs, I think it's a fair deal. They're going to get as much from us as we get from them. ;)
Balanced:
Bonus Economy for us: 1.7 (+2)
Bonus Economy for them: 5.7 (+6)
Unbalanced:
Bonus Economy for us: 2.55 (+3)
Bonus Economy for them: 2.85 (+3)
I'm going to assume we go with unbalanced unless there's any objections. :)

Does Othniel want that dueling blade?
I'm guessing either Othniel or Finnegan can use the mithril chain shirt +2. I know all three of us already wear chainshirts. We can pass on of our old ones off to Radomir for his sleeping shirt. ;)
Anyone want the ring? With a +19 handle animal, Alexander's always happy to see charmed animals, but he's already got two really solid rings.

I already have a +1 Dueling Sword, actually. I guess I could TWF with two of them, though it'd effect my accuracy a little bit, since they aren't light weapons.
The chain shirt would limit my max Dex, I'd probably leave it alone.
I'll take the ring if no one else wants it, but I hate to take even 2 of the 3.

Mithral jumps the Max Dex up by 2, which means the mithral shirt gives a max Dex of +6. However, it would not stack with mage armor.
I’ll take it if no one else wants it, although melee should have priority.

I forgot about that. Hmm. I do kind of like the idea of TWFing with two dueling swords, but I guess I'll take the armor too if no one else has greater need.

Yeah, I think Othneil grabbing the chain shirt and dueling sword is fine. If it turns out you don't want the sword we can always sell it. And yeah, it'll be at least a little while before that mithril chain shirt doesn't fit your Dex. Even if we have Eduard craft you a Dex +2 belt (which we should do), it won't be until level 8 that you'll be at a +7 Dex bonus.
And yeah, Radomir with the ring seems like a good way to go. :)

The dragonhide breastplate and shield are still on the loot list. :)
There's also still the Bracers of Armor +2, which Eduard should probably take. Gloves of Swimming and Climbing which...someone could use? Maybe Andrea just in case she falls into water and needs a positive roll? We can also sell them if no one wants them. It's a decent amount of gold.

None of it's going to really be useful to me - I already have a ring of swimming, and since I'm ranged, heavier armor might hinder more than help. Plus, I can't use the shield with my bow.

That's a good question: what are character's priorities for magic items?
I think we need to get Finnegan and Othniel Dex+2 belts. And Andrea definitely needs a Wis+2 headband. Eduard can craft both of those things pretty cheaply.
Amulets of Natural Armor are also a cheap craft for Eduard if anyone doesn't have one. I think we're good on Cloaks of Resistance and everyone has one. Then it's just a matter of crafting magic weapons and armor. Eduard can also do that cheaply, so if we have any non-magical main weapons or armor, we can fix that.
But I think the +stat items are our big ones at the moment. If there's anything anyone *really* wants and we're just not finding it, let us know. We can probably do something about that. :)

            Dex belt.
Dex and Strength Belt (eventually).
Gloves of Reconnaissance, maybe?
Awesome magic longbows (need to get me some Adaptive property put on them).
Rings of Protection.
Fancy arrows.
Finnegan likes stuff that keeps him alive and lets him shoot stuff. He has very simple tastes.

            short list:
champion's banner
armor, shield, sword boosts that affect challenging or smite (valiant weapon, challenging shield, courageous sword, warding armor, hosteling armor, rallying shield, dastard armor)

| Othniel Laurentius |

Since I'm wearing armor now, I think I my take Bookish Rogue for my next feat so that I can retrain my Major Magic. Mind if I page through your spellbook some time, Eduard?
As far as items, Dex Belt is probably first priority. I'd like to put Keen on my swords at some point. Amulet of Natural Armor would be nice. I've already got Apprentice's Cheating Gloves, Boots of Elvenkind, Quick Runner's Shirt, and a Cloak of Resistance, so probably nothing that goes in those slots. As a Nethysian, a Mask of Destruction and Creation would be cool.
