See the way it works is, you keep adding the attack rolls until the addition of the latest roll with the current player's bonus hits! Brilliant! It especially helps 30pt buy characters!

Skuffing the ichor off his boots Ramos slowly walks around the room examining the space for anything of interest.

Then, pushing himself from the wall, Pavo slips his dagger into his wrist sheath, resetting the spring mechanism and ensuring that his dagger is ready. Then, he moves to where his thrown dagger landed, taking it up and slipping the blade into the sheath at his waist.

Sverrir keeps his distance from the healing, he looks over at Pavo and nods before making a round of the room looking for unusual features;

A search both magical and mundane of the room reveals the remains of 3 humanoids encased in the dried orange goo. Searching the remains turns up a MWK heavy mace, a magical pearl and 3 potions. Lucid also detects a magic aura coming from within the nest itself, which turns out to be originating from a ring on the desiccated finger of hand that has been incorporated into the nest's construction.

The decayed remnants of the corpses' armour all bear an eight-pointed star symbol on the left breast.

Knowledge(local, geography, or nobility):

The symbol is that of the Seekers, a group of unscrupulous archeologists and pseudohistorians.

Frowning in concentration Ramos waves his holy symbol over the arrayed objects while muttering a prayer.

Very useful indeed. Ramos mutters to himself before he addresses the rest of the group. The potions will cure your light wounds, while the pearl will allow you to recall a previously used spell. Both quite useful. If no one minds I wouldent mind the mace however.

Holding himself up much better after the divine healing, Pavo follows the group towards the crusted over mess that the begs were protecting. While the more magically inclined go about checking the items, Pavo focuses on identifying the symbol etched on the corpse's armor.

However, he simply frowns as his contemplation turns up nothing.

Nodding to the comments of his companions, Pavo makes his way down the hall, heading to the hall opposite of the alcove they were in, thinking it better to investigate what it was that Lucid saw. Pavo has a dagger in hand as he keeps his senses alert.

Pavo: You stealthily approaching the oposite room and peer in to see: Eight man-sized stone slabs, about four feet off the ground, are arranged in two rows in this large room. A long-dead corpse, possibly a human, lays sprawled out upon one of these slabs, his red leather armor the only hint of color in the otherwise drab room. The north and south walls taper in somewhat, and the short west wall abuts a small stone stage. The red clay statue of a powerfully built warrior wielding a cylinder-headed great-club stands tall upon the stage, its eyes surveying the room. A giant beetle, bigger than any you have faced so far and with wicked looking mandibles stumbles sluggishly about between two of the room's large slabs. It does not seem to notice you.

My thoughts are that he should also wear this ring. Dang handy thing when traps might be dropping you into pits and such. That ok with everyone?

Returning from scouting, Pavo relates to the group what he had seen, making sure the know of the long dead corpse as well as the beetle and it being larger than any other beetle that he had faced up to this point.

Taking a deep breath, Pavo nods and slips back into the shadows, moving down the hall and stops once he has a view of the bug.

If possible, he will move to within 10 feet of the bug and throw his dagger from shadow before retreating back down the hall.
