Heyla everyone! I'm a new player to these boards and am a bit unseasoned in the art of play-by-posts, but if you wouldn't mind teaching me a bit here and there, I'd love to play! I am a long time table top player with a bit of free time on my hands, and a love for good plot.
If there's still space for another character, and if it's alright with you, I'd really like to play a N Goblin Inquisitor of Sarenrae with the Heretic archetype and inquisition.
Through providence or unfortunate circumstance, Curvlk was both blessed and cursed with celestial blood. How this has happened has been forgotten or purposefully erased from memory for everyone but poor Curvlk. For a goblin, dreams of a fiery angel who teaches mercy and compassion is one of the worst things you could hope for. Curvlk was always especially small for a goblin, and learned how to lie and hide from the others in his tribe who would take goblin delight in tormenting the diminutive goblin, or "persuading" him to play a game of "Drag the Knight!". Curvlk was always the knight. One day, the estranged goblin went mad, at least to goblin perspective, and took up the scimitar, preaching the word of Sarenrae, and worst of all, writing. The small goblin was barely rescued by a cleric of the Dawnflower by a mob of murderous goblins, and Curvlk took it to heart that the Dawnflower was not only is savior, but also his great ancestor, and true mother to all goblin kind. The heretical goblin attempted to train to become a cleric of The Everlight, but was found to distractible by his passionate desire to learn by doing, the occasional shiny thing, and convincing strangers of his strange goblinated version of The Birth of Light and Truth. So it was that when the small and strange goblin took to the road to right the wrongs of history that he left behind many sighs of worry and relief from the priests who raised him.

Sounds cool.
Are we part of the six Clans? How much will that matter?
What/who are the six clans?
Golarion deities?
Should we build an adventuring party or work together for backstory and the like?
I'm thinking of a neutralish Cleric of death and ice. I kind of want a norse-style wiseman/withc type. Any suggestions?

Spectrum |

Mechanical framework up. (The spell list is over-long. I jotted down the stuff I want and plan to core it down when I finish the equipment list.)
Also, I'm withdrawing my submission for Greyson Caine. I can't build him the way I want to on a 20 point buy (Paladin/Monk has serious Multiple Attribute Disorder).
Since we seem to have a few submissions along a darker/nastier theme, I think I'll work up a necromancer as a secondary submission. I'll tie his theme in with Beckett's norse cleric guy.

Wareagle |

Beckett You may be one of the clans people The six Clans are the settlements in the land of song lead by the Jarls. Name of settlements/Villages: Alastro, Kikoinen, Frenred, Madsbad, Skalkegard, Kerava (Yngvar's Hall) . I am using Golarion deities If you wish you can have history with other characters.

Xanos |

Another submission from Doomed Hero
Xanos is a rather soft spoken and polite Necromancer with a streak of Nhilism and a pretty severe problem with life in general.
That being said, he doesn't hate people or want to kill them. He actually looks on what he's doing as a possible means of saving them from a pointless death. He recognizes that his ideas and his work make a lot of people uncomfortable so he goes out of his way to not draw attention to it.

I'm cool with that. I am really just looking for a little more guidance. Would you have any interest in teamwork feats (maybe in the future). I am really wanting now to build a necromancer, (Cleric), we could be a pretty awesome team. Any interest in being brothers (brother/sister)?
At the same time, I don't want to build an evil character, as I do not want to have any party issues. Something like the Diablo 2 Necromancer, perhaps.

Mr. Swagger |

Luckily for Kaiden who was about 9 years old at this time one of the men in the neighborhood, Xin Zu(working name for now), offered him a place to stay. The only thing Kaiden was asked to do was to deliver messages, and packages. Making sure the messages and packages never got lost was of extreme importance. In return Kaiden was given 3 meals a day, a bed, and occasional spending money as long as the jobs were done. As Kaiden got older he realized he was running contraband and messages to criminals, but the money was too good to resist, and by this time he did not really have much of an aversion to it anyway.
One day when he was older Kaiden, 15 years old to be exact, was sent to collect payment for Xin Zu from a cusKaidener, a former adventure who fell into drug use. Seeing as how Lo Chen normally paid without any problems Kaiden was sent alone, but Lo Chen thought Kaiden was being sent as an enforcer so he took it as a challenge. While Kaiden was quickly becoming Xin Zu's favorite man he was not used as muscle. Lo Chen challenged him to a fight if he wanted the money, but Kaiden had no real experience in a fight that meant someone could die. He did spar with Xin Zu, but he never had to actually fight with his life on the line. Defeating Lo Chen meant a great increase in status, while losing would most likely mean death. Xin Zu would have Lo Chen killed if he did win, but that would not bring Kaiden back to life. Lo Chen who was big for a Tian stood at 6'1 and weighed about 220. His favorite weapon was the cestus. Kaiden had mostly trained with a dagger since it was something that could easily be concealed. Lo Chen was known for toying with his foes before finishing them. Kaiden was beaten badly, and he knew he was going to die if he continued to fight Lo Chen straight on. On one of Lo Chen's backhands from the Cestus Kaidene threw himself on the ground feigning a greater injury than he received. Figuring the fun was over, and with people saying to go "end it already", Lo Chen knealt down and grabbed Kaiden's head with one hand, and raised his cestus to strike the final blow with the other. Lo Chen, never thought about why someone who was unconscious was still holding on to a dagger. That was the last mistake Lo Chen would ever make. Kaiden drew his dagger across Lo Chen's throat with such speed and accuracy that nobody even saw his hand move. The only evidence of what happened was that seemed to magically start flowing from Lo Chen's neck for no apparent reason. Without saying a word Kaiden took anything valuable that Lo Chen had and handed all of it over to Xin Zu. Other people challenged Kaiden when he came collecting thinking his victory was a fluke, many had him beaten, but somehow Kaiden walked away live while they did not. Eventually he became Xin Zu's assassin/lead enforcer. If he had to kill someone who refused to pay then so be it. This probably would have been his station in life for much longer, but Xin Zu had been skimming the profits he was supposed to be turning in to the local theives guild. Xin Zu was made into an example, and Kaiden was now without employment. He probably would have felt sorry for Xin Zu, but since was virtually a slave up until that point he could not really feel much remorse.
Kaiden being free from Xin Zu was news that spread quickly and he was offered a job as a bodyguard for a caravan going into Brevoy. Always wanting to improve himself he would spar with the others to improve his fighting technique and learn how to use different weapons. When he was not with the warriors he was with those hired as scouts who taught him how to move so that he would make the least amount of noise, and gain less attention. When he got to Brevoy he was hired again to go into the Mwangi Expanse where he continued his training with others he met. After the expedition was over he decided to stayy and train with an older adventurer named Garrin. Garrin him that the key to his longevity was that he could focus on one enemy instead of learning to only fight certain enemies more effectively*. Kaiden took this to heart which led to a connection with nature that was not as deep as most people. No deity ever called to him to grant him an animal companion or spells, but he did learn how to set traps** and focus his mind so that he could better hone in on any one enemy with his weapons. Those who saw him in battle when he was "focused" were amazed. After learning all he could from Garren he decided it was time to move on he got a job offer as part of an adventuring group to go to a place called The Land of Songs. .....
*How he got the guide ranger archetype.
**How he got the trapper archetype.
Personality:
Kaiden is very focused on being self reliant. He often seeks ways to improve himself, but the does not care much for others. He does however he does keep his word and he is loyal, but it is not due to any real sense of needing to be honest, but because he knows if people trust him it makes life a lot easier especially in adventuring parties. Those who are not currently aligned with him gain no such Xin Zuefits however. He will risk his life to save you because he expects to live, knowing that you will spread word of his bravery. This "expectation to live" has been misinterpreted as valor by others. Will he fight orc horde or an evil necromancer? Of course, but it is more for his own glory than because he cares for what happens if he does not interfere.
During the course of the game I expect Kaiden to grow. He should learn that being honest and loyal because people are actually your friends is actually a good thing. It is certainly a lot better than never having company or anyone to share anything with. He will also learn that choosing his battles is better than always choosing to battle. It is not just about whether or not you can win the fight, but why you should fight.
It will be a long road however.
Appearance.
Kaiden is a human who stands at 5'7 and weighs 157 pounds which is small to most people but about average to slightly above average where he is from. He is bald with brown eyes. He wears no jewelry, nor does he have any tattoos. His clothes are often very plain.
He wears a chain shirt. His weapons are a Cestus, and Falcata in melee, and he has a composite longbow for ranged attacks.
Malsar's parents were party of a missionary that consisted of several races that traveled around the world spreading the idea of peace. Their were so adamant in this belief that even in the face of certain death they believed that most people would back down from an attack if you knew how to reason with them, even creatures such as ogres.
While this idea was sounded good if you were dealing those who were ration and not evil it did not work well otherwise. Many of them found this out the hard way, and it cost most of them their lives. The group was set upon by orcs. Most of the group was killed, and those who were not killed were taken prisoner. Malsar was teamed up with an elf named Ka'leen when he was a slave, who was hired on as a guide. This was done to help prevent plans of escaping. It was assumed that most people only knew their own race's language and
common, which was mostly true, and anything spoken in common would be understood by the orcs. Ka'leen and Malsar became good friends as they got older. This lead to Ka'leen beginning to call him Malsar which translates into war seeker. This was because of the constant beatings Malsar received for being defiant. The orcs probably would have killed him, but they had never seen anyone work so hard. They figured they could deal with his talking as long as he continued to work.
As time went on his anger grew, and his belief in the idea of a nonviolent world waned, but having grown up his entire life around the concept he could not dismiss it. Instead he focused on the ideal of dedicating ones self to peace, but always being prepared to battle. For a large number of years he dedicated himself to Gorum, a deity always ready to fight. After being a captive for 15 years he learned a lot about the orcs habits, so he was able to find out which guards were not so careful. One day after another raid that brought more slaves, one of the guards was very intoxicated. He was able to lift the keys to his manacle's off of a guard's belt. When nobody was looking he escaped with Ka'leen. He intended to come back for his ol,ther friends as he found help, but nobody was willing to risk their lives for people they did not know, and he had no money to pay any mercenaries. Kaleen taught him how to survive in the wild, and how to fight using a few of the weapons they were able to steal when they escaped. That way if they had to rescue them on their own it their chances of survival would be increased.
The idea eventually came to the pair to rescue people or two at a time, not all at once. This sneaking around was not the way of Gorum though. Gorum would have him go in and slaughter his enemies or die trying. After a long debate he agreed with Ka'leen that the completion of the goal was more important than pleasing a deity. The decision was made. They would go with stealth.
His dedication to Gorum was more out of anger, and a desire for revenge than anything else, and that was not a good foundation to live one's life on. After all of the the surviving missionary members were freed, he wanted to rescue the others. With Ka'leen's help he was able to convince most of them to free everyone else. Having denounced Gorum, Torag was more than willing to accept him, and so he called out to him. He wanted him to go out, and teach people that they must be willing to fight for their freedom, and he should lead by example when needed. If the people can't fight then he would fight for them. Malsar always enjoying a good fight, and now fighting for the right reason made it even better. The opportunity to spread the faith of Torag to every corner of the world was just an added bonus. After a while they were able to gather up a sizeable force, and free everyone. Many people went to their old lives, but Torag, and Ka'leen went on for a while. It was during these mission that the name V'rin was earned which means bringer of peace. Eventually they had to part ways. Ka'leen wanted to go back, and kill all the orcs, and he found a group of like minded individuals willing to do so. Malsar wanted to go also, but he heard of a problem up north in a place called the Land of Song which seemed to be of more importance than his desire for revenge. The two friends parted ways, at least for the time being, hoping to meet again one day.
Appearance:
Malsar is about 4'5 160 pounds. He carries a dwarven waraxe , and wears brestplate. His backup melee weapons are a warhammer, and a dagger. He also has a longbow. If I give him a shield it will have Torag's holy symbol painted on the front.
Personality:Malsar is always trying to promote Torag, not to the point of ramming the point down people's throats since he knows it is annoying, but by reminding them that taking care of yourself and others only makes the world a better place. An enemy is more likely to attack those who are not unified than those who are.
uses:He has disable device just like Kaiden does. He is not a scout however since he is not nseak. What he is good at is using knowledge checks to identify monsters, and he is good at being the party face
edit:I have not finalaed the weapons yet. I may go sword and board.
Kaiden is my first choice it it comes down to that decision of which one to go with.
edit:I did not proofread the dwarf since I did not have time so there may be errors.

Here's the write up for Curvlk. I'd love to work the little goblin into someone else's back story if they wouldn't mind. If he found another traveler on the road that he particularly liked, they might have a hard time getting rid of him! Anyone interested in being accompanied/stalked by a pious creature with a really big head?

Your priest thing matches my dwarf inquisitor. Maybe my ranger met up with you by accident, and you are trying to convert him from his evil ways. He is quiet annoyed by you.
PS:Weapon Finesse does not work with scimitars. If you have a special ability that allows you to bypass that then ignore my rules lawyering. :)

Take a look at Xanos' backstory. He's along similar lines. Not evil. Just creepy to most people. Xanos is an orphan so the sibling thing probably won't work, but it could be that your character is someone he found when searching for information on the undead. Just friends with similar goals.
If we can find any teamwork feats that would help us I'd be all for it. Casters don't tend to get many feats as it is though, and I can't think of any existing teamwork feats that would help out a pair of necromancers. I'll do some digging.

It is however, a prerequisite for dervish dance, which does allow you to "use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on melee attack and damage rolls". This allows the walking oxymoron of a celestial-touched goblin to actually be a decent combatant. Curvlk isn't exactly a paladin, or the sharpest arrow in the quiver, so his own version of what is "good" is still a little misguided. He's more likely to confuse and annoy evil-doers than convert them to goodness. That won't stop him from trying though!
@Beckett, Sounds good! I've even got an inquisitors access to team work feats. Could you tell me more about what you're thinking for a character?

Galstak |

Here is a comcept for Galstak that I have wanted to try. Galstak is a Rage Prophet in the making.
I can post multiple times a day and am currently in one PBP here in the PF website. Am a LONG time RPGer although relatively new to PF/D&D.
Galstak’s father, Kordant, took the trade of scavenging and processing metals and gems found naturally in the area processing and making them ready for jewelers as far south as Riddleport. Kordant met and married Abinta who gave him his first son, Galstak, a year later. Abinta shortly found the boy strange and immediately proclaimed him cursed.
Galstak, to all appearances, seemed to be a normal Shoanti youth, but something was different. He seemed to know when bad things would happen. He also had the strange ability to speak a foreign language. This happened when he was scared or angry. He was able to speak this foreign language from a very early age speaking it better than his native tongue.
Galstak’s odd behavior put a lot of stress on the family. His younger siblings exhibited none of the strange behavior. They were normal Shoanti kids. Galstak loved his little brother and sister. At least they thought he was normal. But dark visions of his little brother’s fate would change Galstak’s life forever. He warned his mother about the accident that would take his brother’s life. Abinta kept a watchful eye from that point on. It mattered not, as one day when Galstak’s father was away his little brother fell from a rocky formation near the village breaking his neck, just as Galstak predicted.
Abinta had had enough. She blamed Galstak for his brother’s death saying he pushed him off the rocks to make his prediction come true. Abinta demanded that Kordant do something about their cursed son. They decided to send him away to his estranged grandfather.
Galstak’s grandfather Tarrock was an odd fellow. A Shoanti of the Tamiir -Quah also, he was a dedicated warrior for years, although he was little undersized. At 8 years of age Galstak was only a hand shorter than his grandfather. Tarrock was a radical in the quah due to his risk taking and fascination with the White Dragon of Rimeskull. He was very intelligent and took to reading tomes of knowledge from all walks of life. His over obsession with the dragon and the expected knowledge to be gained from it could he make contact, made Tarrock a sort of outsider in his own quah. When he finally did make contact with the beast, things did not go well. Tarrock was wounded both physically and mentally. He fled the quah certain that the dragon would seek him out to finish him off.
Tarrock welcomed Galstak making him the son he never had. He taught Galstak that he did not have to feel different, his abilities were a gift. He said that the tongue that Galstak spoke when under stress was a form of celestial. Galstack still did not know what that meant.
When Galstak was 10, Tarrock’s mental disorder grew worse and he feared the dragon would seek him out endangering small village and nearby Brinewall. He packed all their belongings and headed North figuring that if the dragon followed at least it would not harm the peoples of Varisia.
Tarrock found a small fishing village in the Land of Song far to the north. He had changed his public name to throw the dragon off the scent. He took to calling Galstak Stak hoping to further re-identify themselves. He built a small cabin in the mountains near the village.
Being a big boy and a Shoanti in a new land, Galstak would have to learn to defend himself. Tarrock taught Galstak the martial arts and Galstak grew big, strong and smart. He read uncle’s tomes, at least the ones that interested him. Religion and the ways of the Shoanti interested him the most. He was hoping to find answers to why he had visions. Uncle warned Galstak that his visions may just go away someday. Or… they may manifest into something bigger. He hoped they went away.
Tarrock used his intellect and talents as a warrior to provide for himself and Galstock in their new land. He learned the local history and geography and became familiar with all the inhabitants around their new home.
One day on his 13th birthday he had a vision of his uncle wasting away from some disease. His uncle warned him that not all visions are best relayed to the people they are about. That doing so could create too much stress on that person leading the prediction to come true. Galstak thought of his brother.
By his 17th birthday, Galstak’s vision had come to fruition. Uncle lay dying of something he could not name. Galstak left his uncle to find help. When he returned with a healer from the village they were too late. Uncle had passed. He burned his uncle’s body in the traditional Shoanti way.
Galstak spent the next several months wondering what he should do. His supplies were running out and he needed to get on with his life. He gathered his grandfather’s items, keeping the most valuable (mostly books) and the rest he took to the village to sell off at the market.
His visions have intensified recently also. A Valley with Carns and tombs of long lost kings. Foreboding Shadows reaching down from the north. A large fortress with wooden palisades assailed and its guardians taken.
Whispers in the village speak of evil in the North. Fields that won’t grow crops and herds that die unexpectedly. He had had similar visions. He spoke to the locals describing the fortress and palisades. “Yngvar’s Hall” he was told.
Galstak gathered his belongs, made some purchases with whatever money he received for Tarrock’s legacy and headed off to see what his visions meant.
Attitude: Galstak is angry at his situation. From his early childhood, life has been against him. Even his own parents disliked him. Now his only friend and relative is dead. He is running out of money and becoming desperate. This further angers him. When he is angry, his visions increase. He views his speaking in tongues and visions as a curse and disability.
Religion: Galstak follows the traditions of Erastil as Tarrock did, but religion is not his thing. He is Chaotic Good. He may change to follow Gorum once his inner Oracle comes out (See below)
Appearance: Galstak is of normal appearance. Although clearly of Shoanti decent he has none of the tattoos and fetishes his people normally adorn themselves with. He has taken to dressing himself as a local. Galstak usually goes covered up and hooded wherever he goes due to his slight Xenophobia.
Personality: Dark, brooding, and quiet. He tends to be a little Xenophobic around people he does not know. This is from his upbringing, lifestyle, and “disability”. Jon, If he has an important vision about someone he opens up to them though. Sort of like a bonding thing.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Future Plan for Galstak – Galstak is obviously a warrior first. But at level 3 his inner Oracle manifested itself. From then on he will take alternate levels of Oracle/Barbarian until he can reach the Prestige Class of Rage Prophet.
So at this time he is Barbarian 2/Oracle 1
Will post stats later. Thanks for your consideration and like your concept.

@Beckett, Sounds good! I've even got an inquisitors access to team work feats. Could you tell me more about what you're thinking for a character?
Here is what I have so far. I am going for a semi-crazy battle priest, and wanting to also be able to raise the fallen to fight for me. I am thinking of a combination of Micheal from the movie Micheal, and a little bit of Thor.
So far this is the bare-bones version. I want a little more setting info before I delve too far into a background. Essentually, I am wanting to go for a character that is sort of seen as an exile from the Six Clans, not outcast, per se, but rather one that lives outside of them, but occasionally they come to him for advice and as a "neutral" party and voice of Gorum when they need. He is also sort of a trickster, guiding the Clans according to his belief in Gorum's teachings, that the strong rule, that there is both individual and social strength, that men must be tempered and earn everything for themselves, and that the good of the community is more important than any individual, but the is only as strong as it's weakest link, and that is always the leader. One day, he wants to kill a Linnorm dragon, and take the throne, and unite the barbarians under one strong and wise banner. His.
He believes in a sort of mix of norse and general christian afterlife, has no issues raising the dead to continue the fight. He also enjoys employing magic that hinders foes, if not outright harms them as much as he does to boost his allies. He does believe in chaos and randomness, not wanting to conform to any set patterns in combat, and believing that while there is fate and destiny, mortals have a large part in deciding just how much they are affected by it as well as believing that whatever happens, there is a purpose, and in the end, it will always turn out for the better, if one knows how to use it properly. . .

Xanos good but can you tell more about how you came to the land of song
Honestly, I don't know. I don't know much about it. Is there any reason that someone interested in acquiring lost or hidden knowledge would come there? I'm open to any suggestions.
Doomed hero all of your many submissions look fine witch is your first choice/favorite
If the party ends up being "Darker" then I'll go with Xanos. If it's "lighter" I'll go with Spectrum.
Or whichever one you find most interesting.

Gender: Female
Age: 22
Race: Aasimar
Traits: Dangerously Curious and Nightstall Urchin (minus the orphan part)
Class: Cleric of Shelyn, Purity and Love Subdomains
Concept: Anthorpormorphic Fox Cleric who loves life, and is a bit of a flirt.
Appearance: Tokara celestial heritage is a lot closer in her background than many of her race, in fact it only goes back to her grandfather who was a particularly amorous vulpinal bard. As a result Quip looks very much like her grandfather. The main difference is that she is taller than a true vulpinal and a slightly more sturdily built. She also possesses hair, aside from the rich silver fur that covers her whole body.
Tokara, Tok for short, stands slightly shorter than the average human her age. However her large perked foxlike (fennec like) ears do serve to add a little bit to her height. She has thick black that is very curly, showing a bit of Varisian heritage (her mother's side). Her fur, a gift from her vulpinal ancestor, is light silver, and grows deeper silver at the points of her body (nose, tail, and paws). She has a delicate pointed muzzle and really does look foxlike.
Tok's eyes are deep green with flecks of gold in them, her right eye in particular has a one patch of gold that is quite noticeable. Though she looks odd, she gets away with it using her cleric domain, mainly by using Adoration whenever someone gives her an odd look. She also wears cloaks that cover most of her form, so she can stay well hidden enough. However she's not quite used to odd looks yet, since she grew up in a land that was quite accepting, and weird.
Personality: If someone was describing Tok, a person might ask if she had gnome blood in her. This is due to her love of life, and her endless drive to wander. However she's no gnome, at all though she does get on well with them.
Tok takes her devotion to Shelyn very seriously, and always does her best not to fight with anyone. To her the best way is diplomacy. In her mind the world would be a better place if all the races just stepped back, took a deep breath and tried to talk things out. Of course this is never going to happen, Tok knows this. The knowledge doesn't stop her from having her dreams though.
Tok is a very loving person, some people equate this to her being a bit… loose. However she doesn't sleep around, she's just very fond of hugs and kisses. She'll nuzzle a friend happily, and it doesn't matter what gender they are. Though she is straight in her sexual attraction, her romantic attractions cover anything really. To Tok, a loving bond of the heart can be formed with anyone, regardless of race or gender.
Tok doesn't agree with the perversion of anything. Nothing can send her into a rage faster than a person taking something that is meant to be loving and beautiful and twisting it into something dark.
The fastest way to Tok's heart is music. She lives for music, and is a decent singer herself. She's not the best out there, but she's can still carry a tune. Because of her fondness of music, she doesn't hate goblins as much as most people do, and really thinks that their unpleasant nature can be remedied by raising them outside of their tribes. After all, you'd lack any manners and morals if you were raised in a cage.
Tok tends to get along with most other races, though at times the stoic nature of dwarves drives her up the wall. She has little love for ogres, hobgoblins or bugbears. She's also terrified of most insects, a reasonable fear considering that she grew up in a place were most bugs were rather deadly.
History:
Tok's mother was a member of a travelling band of Varisians. She was a skilled Harrow deck reader, and was peddling her readings in the Nightmarket of Katapesh. While there she met a handsome wizard who romanced her. It was quite the whirlwind romance, and when the caravan decided to move on Tok's mother decided to stayed.
Nine months later Tok was born, causing her mother to be rather shocked by her foxlike appearance. It was then that Tok's father revealed that he was Half Celestial and had been using an Alter Self spell to assume the form of a pure human. Tok's mother took this news less than favourably and left soon after, leaving Tok's father to raise the young Aasimar.
Tok quickly prooved to be highly curious, and troublesome. There was nothing that the young girl didn't get into. By the time she was six she was out all day, and around age ten most of the night too, exploring the markets and seeing all manner of things. There was many a night that her father was up worrying about his daughter.
Tok showed no promise as either a wizard or a Sorcerer, or able to use any manner of Arcane magic at all. However, the markets were not the only place that held draw for her. She found that she could listen to the clerics of Shelyn for hours on end. She loved the stories of the goddess that everyone loved. At the age of twelve she requested to begin training at the temple, and was accepted as an apprentice cleric.
Despite being a proper apprentice now, Tok didn't give up her curious active lifestyle. When not doing her proper training she still wandered the market stalls. There was far too much wonder in her world not to. Anyway, she had far too many friends among the ragged urchins that ran the nightstalls with her. So she continued her training, and her life.
At sixteen she and one of the street rats she ran with had a romance. She was nose over tail in love with him, and he with her. Tok felt that their love was blessed by the goddess herself, that summer the two spent together was near perfect. However perfect things don't always last forever. Tok's lover was bitten by a puff adder and died. Tok was devastated by her lover's loss and poured her whole being into her studies even more. For a whole year the Nightstalls held no lure for her, the sight of them simply chafed at the raw wound of loosing her beloved.
However with time, and a few stern talkings too from some temple friends, she was able to pull herself out of the darkness she had sunken into. The Nigthstalls, and even the city were still painful. However it didn't mean she had to spend the rest of her life cooped up in a temple mourning someone who had lived life as fully as her lover had. Now nearly eighteen, Tok packed up and left her home.
She spent some time travelling around her home country, carefully avoiding the border of Nex, finding that place very creepy to say the least. To the young cleric, the kingdom of the dead was an affront to everything she put her faith in. Next she headed west and visited the edges of the Mwangi expanse, where she met up with a merchant caravan that was traveling northeast to Osirion. She joined them and worked as a healer fro them until arriving at Sothis. From Sothis she took a ship to the Isle of Kortos, and the city of Absalom where she spent several months.
However it wasn't long before the wanderlust that she had received from her vulpinal grandfather overtook her again. She spent her time with several adventuring parties, as well as quite a bit of time walking the land on her own and having many fine adventures, as well as nearly dying a few times. However it seemed that her goddess still smiled on her and she survived. Once again slightly bored, she is looking for a new group to travel with, hopefully with at least one gnome in it. She likes gnomes, since they share her wanderlust.

I'll submit a 2nd choice
(Assuming Arctic Goblins are allowed)
Groznik 3 level Infiltrator Ranger Arctic Goblin (favored enemy Undead)
Groznik being the third born son of the goblin chief has had less than mighty expectations cast on his shoulders. His elder brothers, Farknik and Haznik, took most of their fathers spare time. Being third also had the disadvantage of last in choice of gear. When time for training the only weapon available to him was a club or a bow as his brothers had taken all the nicer weapons, and were mostly interested in melee fighting as that brought fame more often than not in the clan. Figuring a bow would be useful for hunting, he practiced with that and joined the hunting parties. Haznik and Farknik quickly gained fame by leading raids against human settlements, leaving Groznik virtually alone.
Last winter the necromancer,Tengthu decided to make his home on the same mountain, and set about coercing all the local goblin villages to work for him. Grozniks father would have no trucking with necromancers and refused. Two nights later, the skeletons and zombies attacked the village. After a hard fought battle they village was victorious, tho many goblins were felled including Haznik. Fearing the Necromancer would raise their dead against them, The Goblin Chief ordered a raid led by Farknik to destroy the necromancer. Being short on able bodies the chief let Groznik go along. Grozniks hunting skills served him well, as he used them to sneak past, and kill the outer sentries. Finally seeing the necromancer, Farknik lead the charge to kill him. The battle not going his way, Tengthu, spotting Farknik as the leader cast his foul magics at him and struck down Farknik. With the Goblin charge now faltering, Groznik was also able to sneak his way in and find a clear spot where he shot and killed the necromancer. The remaining Goblins cheered Groznik as a hero. Tho his hero status was short lived, not being know well as a leader other goblins started making overtones that Groznik was not worthy as contender for the throne.
The chief fearing rebellion, asked the local oracle for advice. To the chiefs amazement the oracle asked for a gathering. At the gathering the oracle pronounced "A greater evil is awaking in our lands. Tengthu was only a test. One of our tribe will go the land of songs and fight this evil and return. This goblin will be our next chief. The gods have spoken" Not expecting this, the chief outfitted Groznik in the best items he could acquire form the goblin treasury. The chief wished his son off "The gods ahve spoken, it is out of my hands. Use these items well, along with the hunting skills you have acquired and return as our chieftain." Groznik and three others left separately the next morning to earn the right to be chief.
I'll work on stats and stuff for him

and I'll post a 3rd choice too
MibbiWicket Gnome 3 Barbarian Titan Mauler
From the small town of Gorthwart, grew up in a town comprised mostly of humans and 1/2 orcs. Why his parents pick this town he never knew, maybe it needed a bakery and they saw opportunity knocking. His parents both bakers, had a store "A Lil Dough", the store was famous in town for its danishes, the parents specialty. While no one, did anything to the store, not wanting to be cut off from their pastry supply, When MibbiWicket was left alone to his own devices, things were different. MibbiWicket was constantly getting in scrapes with the other children. At first he was on the losing end of most the fight, but MibbiWicket learned form his losses and soon was winning some. Eventually he was left alone as he was victor, more often than not. As he got older he would protect the younger, scrawnier kids form the town bullies.
His parents were heartbroken when he told them he wasn't interested in continuing the family business, that he want to be a soldier, so he could help protect the ordinary person. Going to join the town militia, they laughed at him and told him to go home, there was no way a gnome could do anything but entertain or bake. So MibbiWicket left town to see if he could join elsewhere. Sadly the other towns were just as cruel, laughing at him, and telling him to go home. Heading home in disappointment, nearing his home town, he saw some the militia going into the woods. He asked what was up,and the told to go inside where it was safe, and that there was an Ogre hunting close by town. MibbiWicket followed the soldiers into the woods at a distance so they wouldn't notice him. The Soldiers eventually found the ogre, and not used to fighting something so much bigger and stronger than themselves, were fighting a losing battle. MibbiWicket decided this was his chance, he charged the Ogre, the soldiers screaming "NO!..STOP!", looked away as not to to see the horror to follow. But they heard no thud, and crunch of bones as expected, and when they looked up they saw the gnome fearlessly attacking the Ogre using the tactics he had beat bullies with when he was younger. Seeing MibbiWicket wearing down the Ogre, they joined the fray and took the ogre down. The soldiers hailed MibbiWicket a hero and asked if there was away to repay him for his timely help. He Said "All I ask for is the opportunity to be in the militia" Surprised at the request they gladly accepted. Having protected his community the past 10 years he has had an itch to go see some of the world besides his town.
Hearing the call for heroes to land of songs, MibbiWicket decided he could see the world and protect people too. Promising to return afterwards, he said his goodbyes to his parents and the militia, with both promising to jobs for him when he returned.

Mr. Swagger |

Mr Swagger wrote:PS:Weapon Finesse does not work with scimitars. If you have a special ability that allows you to bypass that then ignore my rules lawyering. :)It is however, a prerequisite for dervish dance, which does allow you to "use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on melee attack and damage rolls".
I didn't even see dervish dance, going blind in my old age. Carry on good goblin. :)

Doomed hero all of your many submissions look fine witch is your first choice/favorite
Curvlk good.
anyone else who I missed: GJ :)
The ranger(Kaiden) is the one I prefer.

Galstak |

Wareagle - Posted Galstak's stats and such on his profile. Please take a look and let me know if I missed anything. Being a slight noob, making this Barbarian/oracle was no easy task. Add to that Turkey Day and Black Friday.
Anyway thanks for the consideration, sounds like it is going to be a fun time.

Galstak |

BTW, I could easily see Galstak hooking up with Curvlk. Especially since Galstack is suspicious of humans by nature. He could see the little creature as a better companion than an untrustworthy human. Sounds weird, but that makes it interesting. Add to that Curvlk's ability to speak celestial and it adds up to more than coincidence.

Curvlk Wyrdon |

Curvlk is actually quite friendly towards strangers, and trusts his gut feelings towards others. He has a great deal of good common sense about him, and is interested in learning about the lives and cultures of others. Since he's proven Goblin history wrong, and spent little time outside the monastery, he's very uncultured. He expects to be treated with some degree of mistrust and even hostilty, but is patient and level headed. Anyone who is sincerely friendly to him would likely easily earn his friendship and trust.
If blood eagle was willing to tolerate him, he'd probably follow him around until he found someone more interesting, or someone who treated him well to be loyal too.

Wareagle |

You all made really good characters and made this really hard for me to decide and I in the end decide on nine:
Galstak
Tokara
Kaiden
Blood Eagle
Aksum
Curvik
Khalil
Spectrum
Morphet
I known is a very big group. for those who didn't make it I am very sorry but will keep you all in mind if in need of replacements or more characters :)

Wareagle |

Anything is good but please make a martial that would help.
I am being generous and will let both of you join the group mind you we have already started and you will be required to read up to the point we are at in the gameplay thread. Your characters were assumed to be with the group the whole time maybe they just stayed really quiet :)
Please post in Discussion first and let me look over your character and please read the gameplay thread. Thanks.
