Well, you know. I did not let Gromff enjoy his beer, why would I not use some mugs to provoke a brawl? Seems to me it is a real useful use for some booze.
But yeah, it was not my intention to cause all this trouble. I swear!

Tessandriel Siannodel |

Hey everyone. I'm still kicking and so is my mom-in-law. She is doing well, and is in the rehab center. I am going to be looking at what I missed and begin posting soon.
I'm back!

I'm not!
I for a strong moment, considered dropping Miro and running alone, but well, I'm not evil, even tho I'm not good either.

Gamemaster Zedth |

yay Tess is back. Glad to hear things panned out.
Busy day for me today. I'll get a post(s) up Sunday.

Tessandriel Siannodel |

I apologize, but I am having a bit of trouble placing where Tess is at and what she is doing. I have caught up on everything else, I am just not quite sure of her actions.
Could someone help me out?

Miro Ammar |

I'm assuming Tess would have stayed with Roland and Gromff and went to investigate the burning farmland. I don't think we explicitly stated what Tess was doing, but that's my two cents.

Tessandriel Siannodel |

Work update: I will be traveling this evening for my employer. I will try to post tomorrow evening as I am able.

Roland, just Roland |

This goes to all my games: I'll probably be MIA until the 8th. Please forgive my absence and take any actions that seem appropriate to my character.

Gromff Hammerhand |

Hoping for a cliché magic merchant with a Duster full of pocket dimensions. "What're ya buyin?"

![]() |

@Sword.
Not really giving away the sword for a window.
I'm showing that, I know what they face, and using that as a excuse to help their cause, win them as allies and enlist their help, for whatever we are planing to do in the city.
And besides, a thousand gold pieces may seems to be a huge amount, certainly it is for Catcher, that never really had that kind of money, but as a player, I don't mind to much treasures and magical items. It's good to have them, but they are as much as tools to warcraft as to diplomacy :D

Gromff Hammerhand |

I know. Its just that when I play video games I almost always keep everything I pick up until I can sell it. Even if it means becoming encumbered or making multiple stops. At least until money no longer becomes an issue.

haha
I used to do that a lot.
In my 'playstation' rpg era, I would always, in every game, keep at least one copy of each weapon that I could get my hands on! And proudly think to myself it was my 'collection' :D

I used to do that too! I did that as far back as Final Fantasy II for Super Nintendo (aka FF4). I loved looking at my collection of swords that my main hero Cecil had collected over my questing time.

Gromff Hammerhand |

You should have seen my collection in Oblivion. Got the DLC that gave you a castle and put a full set of every advanced armor type as well as weapons on the pedestals. Also got most of the deadric weapons.

Gamemaster Zedth |

sweet! Yes my abodes in Skyrim are bursting at the seams with armor, weapons, staves, potions, books, troll-skulls, and the like!

Gromff Hammerhand |

What's in the bag that's selling?
60pp 821gp, 190sp, 80cp
Emerald (worth about 250 gp)
Gems totaling 30gp
silver chalice rimmed with gems (approx 1,000 GP)
pouch full of gems (2500 gp worth)
+1 Shortsword(3) (1000 each)
+1 Spear (2) (1000 each)
+1 Scalemail (525)
8 daggers (.5 each)
Total 10749.8
Each 2149.96
What's in the cart?
barrels, crates, marked as flour, salted beef, ale, wine
cluster of piled weapons of various designs
masterwork longsword
masterwork shortsword (small sized. A dagger, essentially)
12 backpacks with basic gear like bedrolls, cookware, flint/steel,
fishhooks, waterskins
several loose cloaks and coats
sets of chains and manacles
coils of rope
tools (axes, hammers, nails, twine, saws, wood planks)
2 folded up tents
masterwork scorpion whip
Large masterwork studded leather armor, with spikes
dark iron falchion
Large-sized greatclub
javelins
I figure this stuff isn't valuable enough to worry about.
This is what I think we should sell/give away. If this is good then we can use the above numbers to determine what we want to buy. If you want to keep something then speak up so we can remove it from the list.

Gamemaster Zedth |

The dark iron falchion has value. In-game terms, it has the same qualities as mithril. You can probably some good gold for it.

Gromff Hammerhand |

Jesus that thing is 4000gp? 8 lbs falchion x 500gp/lbs.

![]() |

We can sell the mw itens as well. It's 300 golds for each. A considerable amount, to give away with no purpose.

Not really. Weapons weight half of its normal weight. So it would be 4 lbs × 500gp/lbs
-Posted with Wayfinder

Gromff Hammerhand |

The errata specifically mentions that you use the original weight not the augmented one.

Gromff Hammerhand |

That is another 600 at half price. +2000 = 13349.9 = 2669.96 per person.

I know the game has become a bit slow paced, compared to before, but I want to take this opportunity to convey my thanks to Zedth and the players.
I've been DM'ing for far too long, and this is the first real opportunity to play. And what a game. :D

Gamemaster Zedth |

Right on, thanks Catcher. I've got lots more fun story to share in this game. I hope we go until you guys save the world!
I hope we can keep the pace going, and maybe pick it up again from time to time.

Gamemaster Zedth |

Gromff's calculations seem to be in order. Everyone be thinking about what goodies you would like to have with your allotment of gold, and possibly in addition to what trade you have to offer as well.
Please provide me an updated wish-list here in this thread, what you're willing to pay for it, and/or what you'd be willing to trade for it.
Lets round up the liquid assets to 2,750 gp each. Feel free to add that to your individual gold, and delete all of the goods you sold to obtain it.

![]() |

Boss, for now I don't want anything.
I have Roland as contact in my phone, it seems that he is having a lot of trouble with work/study.
I'll contact him and ask him to chime in or at least give some life signal. :D

Gromff Hammerhand |

MW full plate 1650
Wand of Cure Light 750
350 left

Roland, just Roland |

My life signal!
Sorry, I was supposed to be available by now, but some other stuff showed up and I'll probably be busy for another week. I'll probably have some time to catch up on tuesday, but it's not guaranteed. Please forgive my absence for now and carry on. I'll compensate how I can later.

Gamemaster Zedth |

hang in there Roland. We'll see you soon then.
Miro, your magic ring telepathically informs you that it will be granting you a +1 resistance bonus to saves next level, so you should spend your money on something else!

Gamemaster Zedth |

I was hoping to have heard from Tessandriel by now. It has been since Wednesday since her last post. I'm going to send her a PM, see how she's doing.
Bear with me gang.

Tessandriel Siannodel |

Sorry for my lack of posting. My girlfriend took intensely sick for 2 weeks and I have been taking care of her. She is back to work now so my time is freeing up again. I will post more frequently, though this and the next few weeks may see a reduced posting rate during the day. Once I get home each day I will get responses up. Also, my Saturdays are partially free so I may see about more posting there too.

Catcher purchases nothing yet, keeps her share of the spoils which equals gems, platinum and gold equal to 2,750 gp.
I'll remove the sword price and add the result money to my excel sheet.
Also, Is it available magic components to create scrolls?
or, any magic related book, that I could use to develop that spell as we talked in PM few months ago?

Gromff Hammerhand |

It would take most of her money but Tess could get a +1 composite longbow with a strength rating of 1. 1d6 fire and +3 at close range. Or an Efficient Quiver and special material ammunition like adamantine, cold iron, silver. The PFSRD has a number of neat arrows like bleeding, tripping, tanglefoot, whistling. I would grab a few of those. Never know when they might be useful.

Gromff Hammerhand |

Also Catcher should still be able to afford a Pearl of Power and we could use scrolls, potions, and wands for spells we will use a lot or those that will be handy in certain situations. Comprehend Languages, Mage Armor, Shield, Fly.

I'll take a look at it Gromff.
Also, on a side note, I don't agree with you paying the price alone for the wand of healing.
We could come up with a 'party fund', meaning: All the money we get is divided as if there's one more person in the party, that way, everything we need for party, which includes bribes, food, allocations, utility wands/potions/scrolls and such, gets deducted from party fund instead of personal money.
What do you guys think?

![]() |

Well, it works pretty well in the games I DM.
When the party fund gets has more money than it needs, it's shared between the players. which can be done after downtime.
Here an example:
We earned 18k in gold, each get's 3k and the party fund get 3k.
The party decides to buy a couple of healing wands (for 900 gold) and nothing more since they already have some others wands and scrolls.
From the remaining money of party fund (2100) they decide to keep 500 golds for emergency, the the rest of the money if split between the party, which means everyone else gets 320 gold added to their original 3k.
See, easy easy :D

Gromff Hammerhand |

Much more difficult to deal with online. Besides, we all have a role in this group and our purchases should not only improve our character but also our ability to fill that role. Healers get healing stuff and casters get scrolls and stuff. Fighters get the better weapons and armor and ranged/skill get utility. We know our role and buy things to help in that aspect. So for now it seems easier to just divvy loot and let each person decide what they want to contribute to others. But I am fine with either option. It only drops individual loot to 2224.98 I can certainly still get what I want and so could Miro.

Gamemaster Zedth |

Yes, and yes.
You may use some money and/or time to write scrolls if you want.Regarding that spell, we'll say you've been tinkering with the formulae and equations to bring it to life for the duration of your recent journey. You can spend 500gp to obtain the needed books to finish your calculations which lead to the final construction and addition of the spell to your spellbook.

@All
Don't forget that Catcher can craft wondrous items, and cheaper ones may be viable for crafting, since it should not that that much time.
On a side note tho, I'm not assuming responsibility for bad rolls. :D
