Aava sees you to the edge of a pier, where she points ahead at dark shadows underwater and tells you the seaweed farms lie. Afterwards, Pádraig takes out the folding boat once more, this time speaking the command word twice. With a POOF, the boat expands out some 24 feet long and 8 feet wide, well enough room for all of you. The gilled villagers all watch on at the strange magical boat, whispering nervously.
And then you're off and sailing towards the Drowned Eye out from Ravounel's Coast, watching as Aava's blue form disappears in the mist behind you...
Gonna go ahead and move us along soon. It'll take the better part of the day to get there, and you know what that means! Feel free to make any preparations now.

Issil Tanessen |

Issil lounges in the boat. "Great, more water." She rubs the new ring on her hand. "Say Morvena, did you get a chance to buy some scrolls of Touch of the Sea? I thought we did?"
Issil will spend 25 gp to buy a scroll. She will also spend 50 gp to buy a potion.

"Yes, I agree that taking the boat out as far as we can would be wise," Morvena chimes in the next morning as they make their preparations to depart. "I have also prepared several castings of Water Breathing for this day; between those and the potions so generously gifted, we should have plenty of time to work with."
But when Issil inquires as to Touch of the Sea, she shakes her head in the negative. "Nay. I do not know what manner of scrolls are available here, if any at all, but if we have time to check before departing then I am happy to do so."

I'm happy to contribute to some consumables for water travel. Also we have that bag of gems we got from the turtle that could be used.

You find a quaint shop on the edge of Acisazi, where the aquatic half-elf merchant is at first a little leery of "air-breathers" suddenly showing up at his shop, but when you show him the turtle gems - fresh from the sea, you win him over, and he takes them in exchange for a few potions of touch of the sea.
Unfortunately, he's all out of potions of heroism and wands of touch of the sea. "It's near impossible to stay supplied being such a remote village, surrounded by mist."
Please give yourselves 60 gold pieces each, minus what you spend on scrolls/potions.

The first hour traveling due west from Acisazi in your folding boat is eerily quiet. The magical vessel cuts through the mist as the calm waters carry it along, a light breeze helping to urge you towards the Drowned Eye. A strange desire to continue towards the Eye as quickly as you can invades your mind as you travel, a sort of craving feeling Victor is all too familiar with.
Yet the weird sensation all but vanishes when two narrow, serpentine creatures seem to form from the mist, swooping down towards the folding boat and hovering just above, their heads perched back as if they're about to attack...!

Pádraig and Morvena may as well have written the mist drake entry in Ravounel's Bestiary. The bard is familiar with their Fogburst ability. He also knows that they're able to see through fog normally, and can also use Stealth to hide whenever the creature is in or adjacent to an area of mist, even while being observed. Their special ability is Speed Surge, which allows them to draw on their draconic heritage for a boost of strength and speed that enables them to take an additional move action in that round.
Morvena is quite familiar with their immunity to paralysis and sleep, and doesn't recall any particular weaknesses.
Issil quickly conjures up a magical whip just next to the blue-eyed mist dragon, cracking at its foggy scales, while Victor creates a ball of ooze in his palm and tosses it through the air, the dragon crying out as the liquid melts through its hide.
As Geoffrey prepares his weapon for the dragons' approach, Morvena tosses some glittery dust, but rather than blind it, it only serves to make the dragon narrow its eyes on the arcanist.

Knowing that what lies beyond the mist could be quite dangerous, the arcanist gets back to her feet and summons an air elemental to a seemingly random spot.
The dragon turns on the air elemental as it approaches...
Bite, AoO: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 202d6 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 = 9
And then the elemental swings its cloudy fist at the dragon. Issil points her index finger up, firing a tiny flame up into the fog where it explodes into a massive fireball. One of the two drakes stops flapping its wings, and gravity takes over, sending it plunging underwater.
