Grand Lodge

I'm ready to explore Numeria!

Backstory:
Tavar has spent his time in the wilderness since a child, running through various forests and plains. Originating from Sandpoint as a street youth he quickly found that Varisian forests were much more interesting than the daily trials of the quaint town. Often found sitting on the top of the Sandpoint walls he would gaze onto the stars and bewilderment would set in as he wondered just how far they stretch into the black empty void. During one of those nights he came across a shadowy figure, a Ranger who he saw darting through the night hunting something. He decided to follow the ranger's tracks, easily enough since it was indeed running quickly through the brush. The tracks led on for another mile or two and eventually they disappeared. As he started looking around he heard a thud land behind him, the body of a dead goblin... An arrow right through his eye. As Tavar approached the goblin he felt a hand on his shoulder and he immediately spun around and stepped backwards right over the goblin and lost his footing. A dark, hooded figure leaned over him, he put his hand over his face... A little terrified. The figure reached out towards him and he saw in the moonlight piercing through the trees a slender elf hand... And then a beautiful face accompanied that hand; Shalelu, the most famous ranger around the Sandpoint parts. "It's dangerous for you to be around here little one", she said. Tavar nodded, feeling embarrassed and foolish. After that fateful night, Shalelu saw potential in the child as she continued to notice him star gazing, eventually she taught him the ways of the hunt. Learning of the land of Numeria at the age of 18, Tavar set out for it with blessings from Shalelu; he was ready to carve his own path, one that contained exploration. With his trusty longsword and bow he ventured fourth, eager to find out what the stars had in store for him. As he drew closer to Numeria he would hear whispers about the strange technological ruins scattered throughout Numeria, that they came from the skies several thousand years ago and this definitely peaked his interest. The concept of life on other planets and stars far beyond Golarion has always fascinated him, and Tavar has long hoped to learn more about what life on those other planets may have been like. He has heard stories about the strange alien creatures found in Numerian dungeons and he hopes to learn more about them—perhaps some of these aliens can be found in the caverns below the city known as Torch.

Lucretian's submission for his ranger

2 minor things. Seeker is not core, I will "Strongly" advice taking the Fort save enhancing trait, as some danger have to be toughned out and can´t be avoided. This is a general Hint for all of you!

Your favorite enemy animals might be a very very poor choice. I would advice undead or even stronger constructs.

Apologies; I'll change seeker.

Also I didn't think Undead or Constructs really made sense in flavour as he has never even seen or fought against those. That was my reasoning.

Maybe I could change it to Humanoid? That fits in a bit better. I was trying not to really metagame. :P

Removed Seeker; Changed to +1 Fort from resilient

Actually there are quite a lot of constructs around torch. And I do mean a lot. From tiny flyers up to huge tracked vehicles. Most do no harm, but not all. This is numeria

Fair enough; thanks for the tip. :)

Taket's background has been modified to support his choice of campaign traits. Good luck all.

Backstory:
Eriethiel, though she was born shortly before her parents fled Echo Wood, spent the bulk of her childhood in the city of Hajoth Hakados, on the southern edge of Numeria. When she first arrived, she was pestered daily by the local children. That said, she was usually able to outsmart her tormentors, and escaped more often than not.

She spent her childhood helping her parents eke out a living in their small shop, helping to gauge the worth of items brought to them in trade and learning a number of common - and not so common - languages. It was a simple life, but she had a sharp mind and a boundless curiosity of the world around her; eventually, she became bored and longed for more exciting endeavors. Her parents saw this and, when she came of age, apprenticed her to a kindly mage - not one of those Technic League mages, mind, but a human that was too old for those sadists to care about, and too old to care what might happen to him if they began.

During her apprenticeship, Eriethiel was taught the basics of magic and spellcraft, and of the natural and unnatural creatures of the world. Some of her studies revolved around the history surrounding Numeria and the Rain of Stars. Over the course of her apprenticeship, she was continuously drawn to study the lands to the north; she was fascinated by the thought of mountains of skymetal falling from the sky. What had they been? From whence did they come? If they were, as she had been taught, vessels from other planets, she simply had to learn all that she could about the creatures native to those other planets!

And so, as she grew in years and power, and as she caught whispered stories of caverns beneath the lands of Numeria, she considered the possibility that she might discover signs of alien life within them. So, the day her apprenticeship was complete, she packed her gear, said her farewells, and made her way deeper into Numeria - up the Seven Years River, to Torch - to find her destiny.

The Exchange

Good Luck to all.

Liberty's Edge

The tension mounts, oh what a feeling! :)

Looks like an interesting group, who ever makes it in.

This has been quite difficult in some ways, easy in others, Derlan I am looking at you.
I would like to invite...
From the bakery of Torch the apprentice Mort.
For spiritual guidance Derlan
As scout and expert in wealthredistribution Ibarra
As aspiring master of the arcane Eriethiel Halynnmyr
As guide and master of the wild Theissan
And finally as lucky number 6 and for being small Dinali

Those 6 please write down in the comment section where you are housed at the moment and how do you earn your money in torch.
Information are already set up in the campaign info.

I am very sorry to those who had no luck. This has been very hard sometimes and you put a lot of effort in your applications.
I really appreciate it!

I could see a lot of interesting characters applying, good luck and loot to those who made it.

The Shoanti barbarian salutes the winners. Have a good game guys.
