Does bardic music help CMD? In addition to tthe bonus from Haste, Pip has a base CMD of 21 and Gjetost has 31, so they shrug off the tentacles. Altai, however only has 18. So he makes it if bardic music counts, and is grappled if it doesn't.
There may be some bardic performance types that would boost CMD, but inspire courage does not unfortunately.

Treants are slow, even when hasted... As he can't get to the dwarf in a relatively straight line, I'd say a single move to NO 12-13 or so followed by a swipe at the frost giant is really the only way to get to anyone. :(

Hnoss hews as well, and the Son of Kostchiechie falls dead, slumped over the hammer on the massive anvil as he falls.

"Oopeen theem aall an' fiin' ouut?" He asks slowly.
"Door Nuumbeuh wun?" He points to the nearest door, Hopefully the one near where the lightning bolt just came from?
If we can't decide on a brilliant strategy, then Elgan's move will be shift to wolf form,(Free action) and speedily high-tail it out of the room as per Altai's instructions!

Black tentacles can’t be attacked, but maybe Gjetost can aid another to help you try to break the grapple? Alternatively, maybe if he grapples you himself, he could try to tug you out of the tentacles’ grasp – opposed CMB checks perhaps?
