Looking at the assassin abilities, only the swift death interests me. Not really a choice. Assassin level is tied to death attack DC, so I will probably stick with it.

Eventually I would like a headband of intellect, potions (or a wand?) of fox's cunning will suffice for now. An Intelligence boost helps the death attack DC, but I don't have any permanent need.

Currently I have 65 hp but had been doing it wrong (even if i had missed adding level 3). Each level beyond 1 should be 7 (5+1Con+1FCB). 8+1+1+7(7) +2 for entering RPGSS=61. Apparently rarely rolling above 8 is balanced when you roll d8. Fixed now, sorry about that.

So would dying in an area of Brown Mold also work than? Or do you need to be "submerged" in liquid or something like that.
The non-lethal cold damage would convert to lethal damage once you have taken your max non-lethal damage. Then you would end up dying.

Growing a patch of brown mold would probably be faster than crafting all that liquid ice.

The graveknight must wear his armor during these sacrifices, and within a minute of the last sacrifice, the graveknight must take his own life using the same form of energy, after which his body and armor must be destroyed by that form of energy. The pit within which the entire ritual took place must then be filled with soil taken from graves that have spawned undead creatures.

A couple of things I take away when I read the article.

1) I think a pit with Brown Mold in it would meet the requirements for administering the cold damage. Slap the sacrifices around a bit to get their non-lethal damage up and then let the Brown Mold finish them off.

2) The article never says you, the want-a-be graveknight, need to be at full health prior to your death. You could fight your 13 sacrifices into submission as part of the ritual to sacrifice them. All the time you maybe taking damage, preparing your body for your finial sacrifice.

just another way to interpret the instructions on creating a graveknight.

Well. The GM allowed me to do the sacrifices over a extended period. So what i can tell. Only the last sacrifice needs to be killed in the pit.

What if you drink the liquid ice?
What if you are paralyzed and face down in a pail of it. Only three rounds to drown.

Wow that is a lot of feats and then some. Does this replace levels in some way? Like ECL in 3.5
