I wanted to take a quick timeout to link back to a couple important posts that have info in them that you are still working on.

Next is Cardinal Thorn’s post where he described the mission, which is essentially to get the Tears of Achlys from Vetra-Kali.

From now on, at the end of every day we didn't get attacked, Xeram will write explosive runes on various papers, or as colorful graffiti on the walls, or as texts underneath paintings.

I'll rig the entire keep to be one massive mine field....as far as that is possible. It'll be GLORIOUS!!!

As well a few misplaced canisters with 'super secret schematics'.

So, umm, Xeram, is that an actual plan?

Apologies if the fight with Hallack's crew didn't have the nuances some of you planned. A complicated plan, executed by complicated characters, and with me running 2-3 of the PCs in a couple rounds, it was tough for me to keep track.

Like I forgot Malleck's pet. I think I missed the hellhounds a couple times.

Anyways, success for the villains!

My thoughts on indiscriminate usage of that particular spell go along the lines of your dwarf example above. I cannot help but read things as I walk around, so if you placed them all over the keep, I suspect your men-at-arms (remembering that pretty much every class in Pathfinder is literate) will be dying at a crazy rate to explosions, even if you warn them all to not read things.

After all, ever heard of The Game?

If you haven't before, you have now, and be prepared to start losing it regularly.

I have not, i won't be clicking said link, it's probably something devious.

No, jokes aside, the spell's fun and i've never got to the point in any game where i could utilize it.

Like i said, if there's key points in our keep, where we want our enemies to be weakened before we (or henchmen) deal the final strike, that is what i'll use it for.

X-Com 2 has you lead a squad to drive the aliens from occupied earth.
The squad of soldiers i 'command', are all digital top operatives.

But i'm sure there are people in South Africa who play it as well.

Flying creatures can be a bit of a PITA. Even the archer rangers would have been brutal if Xeram hadn't handled them. One more hit on Xeram during the initial volleys and that would have gone a bit differently!

heh. okay. will try to explain

My feats will give me 3 of 4 immunities. and the template will give me 2. which in the end will cover all energy types except force type.

But RAW i will have to take ACID/FIRE to make sure i cover all the immunities

So what im asking is if you would allow me to rather pick COLD and with feats and template still cover all the energy types? if not, i will keep with ACID

EDIT: Template gives me cold+electricity + 1 from what i am made from (which will need to be FIRE/ACID, if i want to go RAW to be able to cover all the types)

Color me confused.

How are you getting each of the immunities, and what rules waiver are you after?

I'm guessing there is some sort of overlap in the two methods, and you'd prefer to not have the overlap, but instead have the overlap cover the last energy type instead?

And you're not getting immunity to force, right? So my army of 5th level magic missile sorcerers can still take your evilness down!
