I wanted to take a quick timeout to link back to a couple important posts that have info in them that you are still working on.

First are the three large posts that describe the vast majority of the Horn

Next is Cardinal Thorn’s post where he described the mission, which is essentially to get the Tears of Achlys from Vetra-Kali.

So three+ weeks.
Four doses of fish poison collected (5 collected, but 1 used).
Who wants MW armor?

I probably should make my bow magic, but want to upgrade the falchion. I will start with someone else's gear first and alternate me, you, me, etc..

Can anyone craft a headband of intellect or an amulet of natural armor?. I will purchase the other. Can anyone make wands or scrolls? A scroll or two of see invisibility or glitterdust are warranted, but even a magic missile or fireball would let me contribute to ranged combat without relying on a Dex of 10. If not, I will make a point to "purchase" such scrolls. I also want to purchase a wand (various options).

Early on I want to send a Valentine to Z. Congratulate her on her work, and express my admiration.

Taeral took the Leadership feat at 7th level, with the intent of getting a Crafter Focused Cohort. With a leadership score of 13 (15 if we can count the Horn as our stronghold) and max level limits, I should be able to attract a 5th level NPC, 10(20) 1st lvl followers, 1(2) 2nd level followers, 0(1) 3rd lvl followers.

@Grymp: Can I spin up a Cohort or do you want to?
Was thinking human wizard with Brew Potion, Craft Wand, Heighten Spell, Scribe Scroll*, Skill Focus Spellcraft*. With Racial Trait Focused Study and Favored Class Option +1 Spellbook.

@Xeram: The CL entry within a Magic Item Stat block is only an indication of the items relative power for saves, range and other level dependent powers. It is also used for purposes for dispel magic and similar effects.
Also the enhancement bonus x 3 = caster level requirement only is part of the rules for crafting Arms and Armor.

Gertart will work with the investigations. His first stop is to the cell where Marta/Julie is being kept. (How hard is it to spit a sock out?) If the investigations provide no information, he will set up a night surviellnce near her cell.

I can make the MW katana a +1 unholy katana. It will take 9000 gp, 18 days and two skill checks. +1 is a DC 8 so I can take 10 and succeed. Unholy is a DC 17 so I have to actually roll and get above a 2 (but this is Gertart we are talking about). Do you have the 9000 gp (I have spent almost nothing of my share so far, but I am not tracking anyone else. Going in stages, you'd only need 1000 gp to start.

Potentially we can find some souls to cut the gp down, but since we have been attacked twice when leaving the horn, I presume that will not be as simple as it was before.

It's older than that. Kipling titled a chapter of the Jungle Book A Boy and His Dog and Lewis twisted it into 'A Horse and his Boy' in the Narnia series, but I don't know the phrase's actual origins. :)

Grymp is within his role to overrule this, but cohorts are not PCs. They shouldn't get max hp at first level & only get 2,400 gp (3,450 if heroic).

I am good either way, he is not made for combat or adventuring.
Put him in a secure location to craft items for us and I am happy.
I made him to craft and assist in crafting. Something that was talked about early on in the game.

If a person has the crafting feat, Faustus can help with crafting the following items, at a rate of 2000gp/day instead of 1000gp/day, and provide a +2 bonus to the check:
Magic Armors (Skill: craft armor)
Magic Weapons (Skill: craft weapons or bows)
Potions (Skill: craft alchemy)
Rings (Skill: craft jewelry)
Rods (Skill: craft jewelry, sculpture or weapons)
Staves (Skill: craft jewelry or sculpture)
Wands (Skill: craft jewelry or sculpture)
majority of Wondrous Items (Skill: craft alchemy, armor, bows, clothing, jewelry, leather, sculpture, shoes, weapons)

Faustus can continue taking the crafting feats, that way others don't have to use those slots.
