I’ll need to swap out some spells, getting rid of most of my fire spells. It’ll take me to this evening to get that done.

I just grabbed a few summon spells for now.
My preparatory spells are:
Extended Barkskin,(on me),
Extended Communal Resist Energy Fire (on the group).
I had a tough day yesterday too. Had to go to the office after months of working from home and decided to overwork in order to finish everything that needed to be done in person.

Oh my bad. I missed that somehow. Coming right up.

Hi! As my holidays deep in, I will be away from Internet connection for the following few days. Do not expect much from me if anything until next Monday.
Please bot Leira as needed. She might get some kind of confusion after all :D
I would recommend we get a magical elven chain for Zavier if we get a chance. The celestial armor is better but it still requires proficiency in medium armor to avoid the -2 to attack.
Hei Sid, why not to use telekinetic fist or some crossbow, there should be some creatures you can shot here without incurring in the shooting into melee penalty :)

I have a wizard that is doing a bunch of damage every round via his familiar so tossing 9.5 damage around (on a hit) but having to be within 30ft when Sid in the source of hit points that keeps the familiar standing is not great positioning. I know nothing here can likely fly but Sid does not but he does know that the more dangerous creatures have the 30 ft cone putting him in range.
This round in particular to get out the thirty 30ft range he had to double move. I should put a height marker.
In other rounds delaying with a dispel magic, teleport, and various other contingencies available is more valuable than 3.5 damage with a +9 to hit. Against monsters of this level range that is an average of 2 to 0.2 damage per round vs having the action available if need be.
That is my rationale if folks disagree I will start crossbowing.
I have 2 spots open in my Mummy's Mask game if anyone is interested. The current group have just finished book 1 and are level 4. Please message me if you want to join.

I could be convinced to play in Mummy’s Mask! I made it about through the end of the first book in my only attempt here on the boards.

Okay. What classes are the current characters? Any specific roles they need filled?
They have an occultist and a monk currently. Ideally they need someone who can disable traps seems to be the consensus among the other players but it might be worth checking in with them on the mummy's mask discussion page.
There are certainly many traps on that one. Still, we lost our bard archaeologist in the last book, and we still managed to go through with some wits and dispel magic to deal with the worse traps.
There is a campaign trait that allows anyone to deal with magical traps, so basically what you really need is a high Dex and full investment in Disable Device. An archer fighter or undead specialist ranger could easily take the role for example.

I’ve always liked rogue 1/arcane caster x. You think anyone would have trouble with such a type of build?

No need to apologize. This is famously one of the most combat-heavy dungeon crawls in all the APs. Everyone has been good about keeping up the pace really well.
I have heard so many bad reports that I do actually have been surprised to find it much more interesting than I expected.
Maybe I am too old, but I find it fine to have a long dungeon crawl from time to time. And it has sense there is a lot of giants here I suppose :)
Besides, I think Leira's round was to cast the spell and enlarge, but if she can so something more before rolling initiative, she is happy to charge with an attack on the first giant.

That’d be awesome if you’d put that together for us, Sid!
