About Valam Gos

Background:
When Terendelev was infected with the corrupting disease that tainted her scales by the demons, she managed to overcome the disease, however one of her offspring was not so lucky. Valam Gos, a simple hatchling has been showing signs of the same taint since he hatched, and unlike his mother, the energies are intertwined with his own, and he cannot simply get better through normal means. Still however, he shows promise and despises the demons of the Worldwound, and so he was allowed to live, after all most hatchlings die before they are too big of a problem for others to take action if something evil should take over them.

Valam's disease corrupted the divine energies that are in most silver dragons, and left him cursed. He became filled with wrath, and bitter towards those who wronged him, and at the same time, it seemed to consume his very health, he was cursed by the disease, but yet it seemed that he had power, powers that were divine, but not like those of a dragon or a cleric, he was an Oracle.

Life is a little bit different for a dragon, most are able to fight, hunt, and fly within days of their birth, but Valam Gos was a little different even among them. His wings didn't seem to move the way he wanted right away, as if he had expected them to have a different shape, and all in all it took him weeks before he could actually fly. Hunting however was easy enough, though he seemed to have less durability then the rest of his clutch. Dragons age very quickly, and indeed by the time he could fly, Valam was well on his way towards being able to fight for the cause of the crusade.

Valam had an interest in the crusades, and an interest in the human goddess that many of the crusaders worshiped, his own mother included, Iomedae. Although he couldn't really understand why he favored her, thinking of Iomedae sometimes allowed Valam to calm his mind when his curse would otherwise engross him.

Blood of Dragons: Long ago, your ancestors’ blood mixed with that of dragons. Choose one of the following: gain a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks, gain low-light vision, or gain a +2 trait bonus on saving throws against effects that cause sleep or paralysis.
Choleric: Any time you take damage or lose an opposed skill check, you fly into a rage, as the spell, for 1d4+1 rounds. Bach round, as a move action, you may make a Wisdom check (DC 15) to act normally. You gain a +4 bonus to save against poisons and emotion effects.
Consumed Nonprogressing: Whenever you take lethal hit point damage, you take an additional number of points of nonlethal damage equal to 1/2 the lethal damage you took. You automatically stabilize when brought below 0 hit points.
Dragon Senses (Ex): Dragons have darkvision 120 ft. and blindsense 60 ft. They see four times as well as a human in dim light and twice as well in normal light.
Multiattack: The creature's secondary attacks with natural weapons take only a –2 penalty.
Noble Scion: You gain a +2 bonus on all Knowledge (nobility) checks, and that chosen Knowledge skill is always considered a class skill for you. Additionally, you use your Charisma modifier to adjust Initiative checks instead of your Dexterity modifier.
Prophetic Armor (Ex): You are so in tune with your primal nature that your instincts often act to save you from danger that your civilized mind isn't even aware of. You may use your Charisma modifier (instead of your Dexterity modifier) as part of your Armor Class and all Reflex saving throws. Your armor's maximum Dexterity bonus applies to your Charisma, instead.
Touched by Divinity Iomedae/War: As long as you can remember, you’ve had an unexplainable interest in one deity in particular. One of your parents may have been a priest of this deity, or you may have been an orphan raised by the church, but these alone cannot explain your deep connection to the faith. You’ve always felt calm and at ease in places holy to the deity, and often have dreams about the god or goddess visiting you—most often in the form of a sacred animal or creature. Your faith is strong, even if you don’t happen to be a divine spellcaster—if you are a divine spellcaster, you should be a worshiper of this deity. You begin play with a silver holy symbol of your chosen deity for free. In addition, choose one domain associated with your chosen deity. You gain the use of that domain’s 1st-level domain spell as a spell-like ability usable once per day (CL equals your character level). Associated Mythic Path: Hierophant. Multiple Characters: If other characters choose this trait, you should all work together to decide what deity you’re associated with—it should be the same deity shared by all of you. You might even share the same dreams.
