"Do me a favor, hold onto those, and next time I try to talk people into not attacking without scoping out the situation, you flip one of those at them as hard as you can when they argue with me. I suspect you can make it really sting. You can keep the coins after you've thrown them at 5 people. Pay for services rendered." He wags a finger. "Throwing them at yourself doesn't count."

Gahh! Lots happened in that short while :(
Good note, i found Claptrap Heaven!!
Im going to break this down into stages. Its a massive post...

Stage 1, after the fall.
As claptrap bangs to the ground for final time, green lights erupting all around him, he lets out a sigh, looks up then starts screaming all over again
AIEEEEEE!!! Theres skeletons! More not-dead skeletons! And they got shiny, completely harmless looking weapons! Im doomed!!
Stage 2, the skeleton picks up Claptrap.
Still Claptrap does not shut up and continues his assault on he ears.
Please dont eat my brains! I like my brains, wait. I dont have any brains... HA! Eat that suckar!
Then Velden calls down the staircase, urging the robot to communicate.
I AM talking! Cant you hear me??? Would you like me to scream at the top of my lungs LOUDER? Cause i can do that too!
You dont doubt that except something seems to have distracted the robot, something on the far wall...
Stage 3, the slot opens up and Claptrap sees the goodies inside.
Claptrap suddenly goes speechless, and good thing too as the sound was starting to get irritating...
He then heads over to the wall, dissapearing into a hole in it.

GM Wolf:

Claptrap is in bliss here in the hidden machine shop.
There are tools! And there is a work bench! And over here are spare parts! And eye stalks! And a BOOK!
Claptrap then starts rummaging around a bit, picking up different odds and ends that he figures he can use. (i pick up the spare parts, 3 repair kits, a half dozen eyestalks, and a perception check to search around and pick up any tools, no matter how obscure)
perception check to search the room: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20.

DM Wolf. Stage 4. The Journal:

Claptrap plugs in the journal, shaking back and forth a bit while he processes the information.
He is especially interested in chapter 1 and its vault as well as chapter 12. any extra info on these?
He then pockets the book and heads back out of the machine shop.

Stage 5. Claptrap reappears within vision of those at the top of the stairs and calls up.
Hey guys! I found lots of interesting things down here! I found a machine shop and lots of parts and TOOLS! I also found a journal belonging to Alec Faust, one of the pioneers of Claptraps, so basically my Granddaddy, and probably also the reason i havent been shishkababed yet. Mecha Aannra come on down. There is lots of good info down here!
Claptrap then turns around taking in the room properly and analizing the skeletons.
K. Nobility to reconize the emblem of green flame: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28
K. Religion to identify the skeletons: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
And then heads back into the machine shop.
Phew! Sorry for such a big post, i had lots to touch on. If anyone wans/needs to interject on this, go ahead :)
Next Claptrap will have another "briliant plan" that should turn out quite entertaining ;)

GN recap:

1. Perception check for tools. (20)
2. More info on Chap 1 and 12.
3. K. Nobility for Skellie emblims. (28)
4. K. Religion for skellies. (26)

Velden chuckles. "Tell you what, you figure out how to turn the skeletons off, or at least confirm they aren't set on 'attack living' and we'll be right down. Otherwise, I think Avizzi and I will let you and Aannra deal with the droid friendly cursed skeletons carrying glowing, most likely irradiated, weapons."

"Yeah. I don't need to add cancer to my already long medical history. Or [Geiger] counters on my list of things to avoid." Avizzi absently starts flicking a knife around his hand and motions for Aanra to head down.

Geiger in brackets because, while I'd presume some measure of radiation would have been invented, I'm not sure it would be by a guy named Geiger in the case of this game.

Aannra looks at him and them points for him to head down.

Aannra, technically there is two 'him' with you. Are you pointing at Avizzi or Velden?

Claptrap...:

There are many tools, too many for you to carry. Appraise check to see which ones cost the most, craft check to see which ones would help the most in crafting, etc.
There are three HUD/Echo devices that are fully working and one personal force emitting shield.

More to come, I need to....

Chapter 1: the vault he is referencing is this location. It reacts to those who use it or live in for an extended period of time. Many of his tools and spare parts came from this location, or at least what it collected for him. It is a living Eridian Vault. The Everflame that the villagers call as their source of light is the Vault's heart or at least a physical manifestation of one.

Chapter 12: research, lots of experiments and research. Most experiments fail, and the ensuing rage of the bot needing to be destroyed, being released into the lower levels as added protection, or the resulting explosion of the bot. Only Eridian weapons can be safely incorporated into automatons. The sentience in the other objects corrupts the AI of the robot too quickly.

There is more information, most of it technical about both chapters, I just summed up more of it.

Do you try to find echo Device 5-8?

K: Nobility: The green flame emblems are Faust's own crest.

You think these Skellies are incorporated into different elements. They all are held together by radiation and dark magic. If a living creature got within 10 feet of them weakness would ensue quickly. Each blow form them would likely make the living creature more weak. The Skellies bones appear to be enhanced and reinforced by metal and nanites. You are sure these particular Skellies are Faust's own creations, but what would the last entry in his book mean then?

Geiger counters, we will call it that otherwise it could get confusing. Good point Avizzi but we are going for simplified. :)

Ouch. These 10 hour days are killing me. I calculated that i lifted about 7500lbs of ice today (im an ice packer) -_-
Btw, you are making it incredably tempting for Claptrap to just stay in this new patch of heaven ^_^

GM Wolf:

Alright, then ill do a Craft Mechanics roll :) see which ones i can get good use out of.
Craft Mechanics: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
And thanks for the summary of the chapters. Claptrap finds that info extremely interesting, as do i >:D

Next Claptrap will prepare an extract of Identify using the workbench and then he will use spellcraft to identify the 3 echo divices.
Echo divice #1: 1d20 + 10 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 + 10 = 34
Echo divice #2: 1d20 + 10 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 + 10 = 29
Echo divice #3: 1d20 + 10 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 + 10 = 22
He will also pocket (and activate) the personal forcefield.
After this he will deal with the Echo devices and the terminal :)

a quick ret-con, since new information is available
When Claptrap calls up the staircase he also adds this at the end.
Oh ya, another bit of useless information. These skellies were created by Faust using deadly radiation and fell necromancy enhanced by steel and nannites. Just being near them would suck the life out of anything living, so they should be completely harmless!!
And i have named them Franky, Franklin, Frankfert, Franko, Frank-a-Doodle, Fran and Bob... I dont like Bob much...

Velden raises an eyebrow at Aannra. "See? One of these days you're going to listen to me when I predict gloom and doom. Until then, I'll continue to be correct, and you'll continue to be wrong." He makes a sweeping motion toward the stairs. "Enjoy your droid only room downstairs. I hear there's a machine shop, parts, and tools. I'm sure you could scrounge up things useful to all of us, yes? Without dying from radiation poisoning or having your flesh stripped from your bones by nannites."

He turns to Avizzi. "See? We should always send the bot ahead, things go much better when he goes first." He calls it out loud enough for the bot in question to hear. "He's practically a freakin good luck charm."

Claptrap:
You find a sonic screwdriver that will help enhancing crafting or disable device by +2. A gyroscopic compressor helps with seizing an item and gives some insight, +2. There are many more but those two grab your attention most.

Personal force field emitter technically gives you temporary HP, 1d8+2.

The three echo devices allow connection to the echo stream. Echo devices allows others to see your location by direction on their HUD, readings showing your health and shield levels, and can be used as radio communication devices.

One is labeled 5-8, and appears to have a secure data package within it.

GM Wolf:

I got a sonic screwdriver!! XD
What does the Gyroscoptic Compressor do? Im not understanding that one.
Claptrap will pocket those two, and the two extra echo devices :)

Personal Force Field: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Claptrap then takes the Echo device labeled 5-8 and plugs it into himself, attempting to access the secure data packet. If that fails to produce any spectacular results, he will then plug himself into the terminal, acting as the conduit between the Echo device and the terminal.
K. Engineering: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (4) + 22 = 26

Sorry everyone for hogging the spotlight, just trying to download a human consiousness into my databanks then we can continue on >.>

The three organically wait for the robot to make the place safe. They hope.

tools:
I thought you would love a sonic screwdriver!!!

A gyroscopic compressor is a mechanical clamp basically, it will analyze anything you attach it to and once you plug in what you want to do it throws out a few suggestions to: 1) fix the item, 2) adjust the item, 3) destroy the item, etc.

Claptrap exits the machine shop again and ports himself into the wall next to the base. A tube drops from the ceiling and encases the skeleton with liquid, in mere minutes flesh appears and grows on the skeleton. Once the process is finished a man with a few green luminiscent tubes connecting to parts of his body is left with the liquid being emptied out of the tube. The tube goes back up leaving the man who slams his hand to his chest and a suit explodes over his skin. He raises his hand and the skeletons seem to dim. He taps the service bot on the head and says a few words quietly to him then sits down, resting with his back on the wall sitting on the base that he was just regenerated on.

Claptrap or Perception DC 20:
Faust speaks to the service bot, "Thank you my little friend, take what you need, a vile undead creature lies below in wait. he has made this place a true death trap. I will need some rest, come back to me once it has been finished. Bring back Spetna as whole as you can."

"Claptrap, why don't you ask the nice man you just created if the radiation is gone now, so we know if he's sterilizing himself, or if it's safe for others to come down." He asks, raising an eyebrow at Avizzi.

I'm assuming Aannra is halfway down the stairs by now.

Construct PSicyrtal

Aannra's drone comes over to the Green light man and also asks/says.

"Hello, I am Drone 001, my replicant owner is above, she asked me to ask you if you can reduce the radiation down here so she can join her fellow construct ClapTrap"

It looks like Aannra was waiting, she never said she went down.
The man says to the drone, "Yes it has been done the radiation levels should only make an organic slightly sick if nothing else. Also it is decreasing more as we speak." then he looks up to the other three and speaks loudly, "It should be safe you can come down."

Then she places her left hand on the wall. When she dos her drone scurry's over and climes down it and to its normal place on her belt. She pays no heed to it but keeps looking at the man unblinking, still not moving she says up to the others.

"Are you coming down?"

"I do apologise, I do not mean to be rude or offer disrespect, but its just a precaution. This building is filled with traps and things to tick outsiders. Velden is coming down now to talk to you, once he says your safe then I will remove the gun at once, please understand my predicament sir. Sorry for the inconvenience."

The gun stays pointing him.

"I let my defenses down to let you down here and I get a gun aimed at my balls. You will move it now!" He continues to get more angry and slaps the gun away from him but she easily dodges his blow.

Velden starts down, rolling his eyes at Avizzi. "Aannra, put the gun away. I'd rather not fight the guy if we don't have to." Unspoken but implied is that he has no qualms about killing if he has to. "Do me a favor and watch him like a hawk with your hand on the gun if it makes you feel better, but with the gun pointed, oh say, at the floor. I figure you can raise and fire it in less than half a second, so it won't make that much difference, but it's a lot politer."

When the sniper reaches the bottom of the stairs, he nods at Faust. "Welcome back from the dead, I guess. We trashed the skeletons you left up stairs. Looted the room too. Figure we are owed that for being attacked repeatedly by undead. Also for giving you your skin back. Anyway, you've got bigger problems than us. Some idiot landed a garrison of troops, complete with combat drones about half a mile outside the front gate. Then the combat drones decided to turn their bosses into catfood. I figure it's only time before they smash their way in here. So, I suggest we find a way out of here now that doesn't involve the back door. And I doubt if you want to traipse around in the altogether by yourself. Also, we've got some sort of android running around who likes to play with resurrected snakes, who's got an attitude, and who likely is going insane like the drones outside." He eyes Aannra while he's talking, wondering if she's succumbing to whatever is making bots go crazy around here.

"Not mine, there is a more sinister force at work within the tombs. I will see what I can do about the drones, if you wouldn't mind taking a look downstairs to see if you can deal with whatever is raising skeletons that would be great. I will let you know once I know more, do you have an echo device?" He settles down with the gun not in his general direction, the skeletons also step back. He taps on his waist indicating the device, then seeing a confused look he shakes his head. "Service Bot, get them echo devices." He then turns around and walks to the base. The wall folds back allowing him to enter the machine room and goes to the terminal, with screens showing up and showing different images.

Velden chuckles. "Maybe you can sign on as his personal body guard?" He tells Avizzi. Turning back to Faust. "By the way, we have about a dozen more people upstairs. Half are non-combatant greenhorns we were escorting on a rite of passage that's turned deadly. The other half are guards who are protecting the kids. Mind if we get them all down here where it's safer? If you don't mind that, I think we thre.. four can go on down further and see what we can make of your undead issues."

"I will see what will be safest and get them moved. You worry about whatever is down there. Good luck and I will keep you informed." Faust taps the side of his mask and you can see a microphone.

Claptrap brings forth two echo devices.

As you venture farther down...

At the bottom of the stairs is a circular chamber with three passageways leading from it. In the center is a small stone pedestal. The sound of dripping water can be heard coming from the eastern passageway, while the stench of rot emanates from the west.

Once that's taken care of, he stops, and addresses Faust. "Do you have, in that shop of yours, a weapons modification bench, before we go? I'd like to transfer some mods from some of the weapons we found to my bow. I'm not really interested in using a bow I haven't tested extensively in a combat situation. But we may need some of those weapon mods going forward." He nods at Avizzi and Aannra. "Same for them."

Once done she go's to the way leading down and sends her drone into the room ahead.

"You are welcome to test your skills at it, but you should know most modifications unless they are mechanical rather than magical in nature will take a few hours at least. The turrets outside could still be active but there are no loaders active out there, there appears to be quite a few piles of scrap besides the two shipwrecks out there." Faust says with a bit of confusion in his voice.

If there is a specific thing you are looking for or something that does a specific action, let me know.

Drone Report:
The short passageway takes a bend before ending in a small chamber dominated on the far side by a silver fountain quietly burbling perfectly clear water. An inscription above the fountain reads “Kassen’s legacy lives on with his people. Drink and be refreshed.”

oops. Thought i had posted but apparently not :(
Alas my plan of downloading the grandfather of the claptraps into my brain failed :( I will have to mess with GM Wolfs plans some other way!
Quick question. Do i need to have an echo device to gain its benefits? If yes then i will keep #5-8 as it was Fausts personal one, if not i will give it to someone else so more of us can gain its benefits.

Claptrap trundles around, handing an Echo device to both Velden and Aannra, then going over to Faust.
It is amazing to see such a historic and importiant figurehead! You are my new hero! Can you sign my backside?
He hands you a black felt pen (which is completely dry) spins around and bends over...
A short bit later when Velden asks about modifying his bow he pipes up again
I can help you with that! I am a master at building and modifying things that need to be built or modified. I am sure i could help you out with many such things!

Aannra is looking at every thing but seems not that interested in most of it, she seems to be looking for a particular thing or things.

Her drone comes back, she talks to it then sends it back.

Avizzi takes the crash course from Aannra and begins playing with the Echo device, trying out different features until he has an understanding of what everything does. "Huh. Complicated little piece of sh*t, eh?"

Annra says over to Avizzi wile looking around the tools and Junk.

"Its complicated because it not military, its civilian. So full of useless add-ons"

She takes out her drone and lets that help here searching.

Yes, you will need an echo device. Claptrap

Faust takes the pen and humors the little bot. Stylistically writing his name, then casts arcane mark for the signature to actually show up. "Yes actually He might be your best bet with quicker modifications."

The drone does not come back.

He shows the Claptrap where the modification sockets are. "When I was in the army, they could do the load outs on this bow in under 20 minutes..." He challenges the bot.

From looking in the tools? GM

Aannra gos looking for her drone

::Where are you drone::

Well you said you sent out the drone again after it came back from the room with the fountain. I just said it went right once getting to the bottom of the stairs... I can't find the stats on your drone I assumed the AC was less than 25.

Faust is busy working on the terminals and checking on his systems.

No sound comes from below. Faust's workroom is filled with all sorts of items, mostly machinery and parts.

Drone responds:
::In belly of amphibian, waiting for rescue.::

Velden listens to Faust describing how it will take him longer due to him not being a cleric. He rubs his chin. "Would it go faster with a cleric helping? I didn't complete the entire training schedule, but I do have some clerical training, and I'm officially a priest." He looks thoughtful. "I'm wondering if we have the week to take. The problem is, if we're going up against undead, that attachment is going to be a massive help." He finally sighs. "I suppose there's no help for it, we can't take a week. I'll just use the other bow when I need it." He shrugs his shoulders. "Do you have a utility quiver? At least I could load up arrows and bows in it, make it easier to switch out as needed." Efficient Quiver

"Yes with blessings from you during the transfer that should work, a priest with the right training in crafting weapons would be best. I can lock the front door and the second floor to allow you time, but the forces below will likely grow in strength. Your choice. Also I can create an Efficient Quiver for you while Claptrap does the adaptive swap." Faust says with more confidence.

"Hello, who do we have here? Do you know these two?" He asks Velden and anyone else around. The images are a bit fuzzy but you might be able to discern them.

Intelligence or Wisdom check DC 10:
You see Five speaking with Huc and Jellena.

Wisdom Check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Velden looks at the screen. "Five, our erstwhile 'employer', Huc, the military man from the station, and Jellena, an android or electrovore of some type. She's the one who brought the snake back to life and then ran off when we told her we'd kill it if it attacked again. Can you get audio on that thing? As to the rest, we'll do the transfer another time. For now, if you and Claptrap can put a rush job on the quiver and send it down with the quiver when it's done? And lock the doors to the main hall, and everything inbetween. We tried not to destroy too much, so your skeletons should be able to put most of the traps up above back in good order. We'll leave the greenhorns down here, along with Jack and Bishnu and the rest of the body guards. You'll have someone to watch your back while the skeletons repair the traps." And someone to watch you to while we clear out your mess below.

Ok, I'm ready to go below, not sure how long it'll take him for the quiver with help. Velden will say a blessing over him (Guidance) before he leaves.

It will take 8 hours to create the quiver, claptrap should be able to get adaptive on your bow in at most 4 hours.

Down the stairs about 100 feet you come to an entry chamber. The murals on the walls have been slashed and large claw marks are deep in the stone walls. It sounds like water to the right. To the left is another tunnel and straight ahead, three options to choose from.

He can't put adaptive on by itself, it has to be magical first, so we'll just have to deal with the bows as they are. I'll leave the Holy one of the adaptives for Claptrap to work on, he can move adaptive onto the Holy bow so I can use it. I'll use the +1 Flaming for now, and also keep the Whipwood Composite str variable Longbow +2, special +1 bonus of your choice (Bane (Construct)) on me as well.

Velden looks at Aannra. "Ok, so where's your amphibian snack at again?"

Aannra takes the Alien looking gun, none of her artefacts seem to it it, so she just syncs it to her wrist band.

She also sees of it fits her holster. If not she will change her clothing to have one. Once happy with its location she moves down with the others passing on the intel form the Drone.

When Velden asks her to find it, She push's out here mind seeking her drone.

She seeking the location of its thoughts, she pulls her Alien gun waiting to see what comes.

As the three of you get to the entry way there is no obvious signs of strobing lights.
