Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

Vy scoots forward, to stand behind his sister, while keeping a charge lane clear. He casts a cure spells, but holds out his hand for Vitro to grasp
basically he's readying a spell, but this looks cooler. If it's actually possible, like holding the charge, that's even more cool. Here's hoping Vitro can get away..

No traps, no speech, Do we need this guy alive? He doesn't like his chances of hitting an agile human with the elf in the way, even if he is beanpole thin, but he likes the idea of being in the way of his charging and angry comrades a whole lot less. He scurries off to the side, taking perhaps a little too much delight in standing on naked goblins head as he shoots
Crossbow, shooting into melee and through elf keister: 1d20 + 3 + 1 - 8 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 - 8 = 3
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
possibly -2 for partial elf keister. not likely to matter

Oskar Dragenaev |

Excited to be back to the part with the hitting, Oskar flips the wheelbarrow, and rushes over to the fellow who's got Miss Ameiko tied up.
"Hi there." He introduces himself and lets his fists do the talking.
Cestus Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Cestus Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

I put a wheelbarrow on the map. It has no effect. But it looks cool :)
Justin: Still hasnt gotten the hang of the crossbow. Gnomish technology and all that. The bolt shatters against the cavern wall.
Snowflake: casts a spell but holds the charge.
Oskar: Gets right back to what he was doing before. Smashing stuff. But it looks like this guy is made of much more sturdier material then those Goblins. Its a hefty punch, but the guy remains standing.
Round 2 actions:
Vitro: Withdraws towards snowlake, taking snowlakes outstreched and glowing hand.
healing: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Rataji: moves into a flank with Oskar. She might still be angry at him, but saving Ameiko from her jerk brother was more important then her feelings.
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 5 + 2 = 24
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Rataji's strike is true, injuring Tsuto.
Tsuto: seems to take his wounds stoically. Seeing you're not here to mess around, he puts his back against the wall and punches at Oskar.
flurry of blows: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
flurry of blows: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Round 2
Vitro
Rataji
Tsuto 14 damage
Snowflake
Goblins
Oskar
Justin
Snowflake, Oskar and Justin are up again.

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

Snowflake stands at the ready to stabilise Tsuto if he falls or heal Taj or Oscar.

Oskar Dragenaev |

Whatever Justin just did, it seems to have rocked Oskar's opponent back on his heels. Oskar tries to capitalize on this...
Cestus Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Cestus Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
...but swings a bit wild in his eagerness.

''Vitro'' Wizjietroczenon |

Vitro's face shows a moment of great relief as healing power washes away some nasty bruises. "Thanks doc, I needed that!"
For a moment Vitro's about to dash back into the fray with his rapier, but the guy's pointy ears make him hesitate to go for the jugular immediately. So instead he tries to distract him with a lot of rapier-waving-about, hoping Oskar will take advantage to punch him knockout.
Aid Another, using a rapier with earth superiority: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
The shining steel comes quite close to the guy's eyes, and Vitro has to struggle a bit to not show his shock at almost blinding the guy he's just trying to distract.

GM Woran |

Snowflake: Delays
Justin: Casts a spell, and Tsuto doesnt manage to shake it.
Oskar: Takes a swing, but even Dazed, Tsuto is too fleet of foot.
Vitro: having been healed, Vitro feels a lot better. He helps Oskar by distracting Tsuto.
Rataji: With Tsuto having manouvered himself into a corner, there is no way Rataji can get a flank set up.
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Crit?!: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 1 = 17
Crit Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
But even without the aid of flanking position, Rataji stabs right trough Tsuto's defences.
crit confirmed, 13 damage on Tsuto
Tsuto Dazed.
Round 3
Vitro
Rataji
Tsuto 27 damage
Snowflake
Goblins
Oskar
Justin
Snowflake, Oskar and Justin are up again.

Oskar Dragenaev |

With the way that guy's put his back to the wall, blindsiding him is impossible, but Oskar sees that the elf fella is being just threatening enough to make an opening for him...
No flank, just the Aid Another.
Cestus Attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 2 = 19
Cestus Damage: 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

Vy immediately casts stabilise. Tsuto maybe a crook who needs justice's reckoning, but he is Ameiko's brother. And a source of information

Justin immediately starts stripping himself naked and prestidigitating himself clean, trying to let Ameiko hold the dog slicer
"ick ickickickickick... participation's still an option if you want.
Casts spark on the goblin soaked goblin body, setting him alight and looks to V
"Don't give me that it's how he'd want to go

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

Snowflake walks over to Ameiko, and to make sure she can make it out of the cave and factory, heals her.
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Oskar Dragenaev |

A little befuddled by the mutagen, Oskar looks at Ameiko with a puzzled expression. "We got two glassworks now? What'd I miss...?"

![]() |

Justin hops back into the wheel barrel and uses his claws to shave a little bit of soap into teeny tiny flakes.
"Can you ask your god for a little water here? Don't worry, the people are...you know what I'm going to let someone thats good with humans handle that one.

''Vitro'' Wizjietroczenon |

Vitro takes some rope to ensure Tsuto's properly tied up, and looks towards Justin in the wheelbarrow.
"Is there room enough in there? Sounds like we need to get back as soon as possible."
Turning towards Ameiko, he continues.
"What plans are those? Is something going to happen? He's out cold."

GM Woran |

Ameiko holds her hands in her head. It looks like she still has a headache.
"Tsuto asked me to meet him outside the glassworks. I've always hated the way my father treated him, but Tsuto himself wasnt always the easiest person to get along with. But I was willing to give him the benefit of a doubt. You see, Tsuto and I shared the same mother, but not the same father. My mother at one point had an affair with an elf, and my father never forgave her for that. Long story short, when our mother died, circumstances were unclear. I never liked my father, but I did not take him for a murderer. Tsuto however seemed convinced that my father must have killed our mother. It was never proven.
I got a letter from Tsuto, saying that my father might have been involved in the goblin attack. That was something I would not put past my father. While what happened would not have been his intentions, he has been very ruthless in dealing with buisness rivals..."
Ameiko shakes her head. "Arg, I'm rambling. I got to the glassworks like Tsuto asked. Tsuto revealed to me that he and several other mercenaries had been involved in the attack and hinted that there are other plans for Sandpoint’s future. Tsuto warned me
that I didn’t want to be in town when those plans came through, and offered her a chance to join his group at Thistletop."
Ameiko sigs deeply, leaning more on Snowflake.
"I of course refused and I tried to make a run for it to warn someone. But Tsuto sicked those goblins on me. They were enough to slow me down and he knocked me out cold."

![]() |

"Up...upstairs I saw what looked like a statue of your father sitting on a throne. My mind is being warped by it however..."

![]() |

"Did he have something worse than burning the glass works to the ground and killing everyone inside planned ? If so, toss him in the barrel. Or off the cliff.... " he looks up " Anyone know where we are and if taking the surface route back would be faster?"

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

"Maybe someone with less...clear ideas about property can check Tsuto's room..for clues..that would help protect the town..so that one could look..past the committed transgression..of looting"
Vy does his best not to look at Justin

![]() |

"It's not looting. It's taking evidence. And possibly then putting it towards the defense of the town. By us. Speaking of which... "
He starts riffling through Tsuto 's pockets for incriminating evidence, the shinier the better. He's not paying much more care for the prisoners dignity than his own

GM Woran |

Ameiko frowns. "What? The glassworks got burned down? All the workers are dead?! Nooooo..."
She starts to quietly sob into Snowflake's fur.
Riffling trough Tsuto's pockets, Justin finds a potion, several pouches with coins, a set of thieves tools, and a journal.
He had no other weapons on his person then the shortbow he dropped. Inspecting it, it appears to be a composite shortbow with a strength rating of +1.
That's not a lot, but you did make him leave in a hurry.

![]() |

Facepalms
"I TOLD one of you to break it to her.. erm. The glassworks is fine. We stopped it from burning down. Much " technically true if omitting the more important part.
He shuffles next to Vitro and turns the book upside down starting with the last page and working from there

''Vitro'' Wizjietroczenon |

Vitro tries out the bow, noticing it's got a satisfying weight to the pull.
"Hey, as long as we're holding on to this evidence for the moment, to prevent it falling into the wrong hands..."
He also takes a look at the potion, wiggling his fingers to make the magic show.
Spellcraft to identify: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

![]() |

"Another 30 seconds of looking for "Attack plan on town" here and we're going to have to assume there's another attack coming. They got to the glass works from here, but how did they get to here? "
He looks up the cliff.
"Oskar, can you see if there's any ladders, ropes, carved steps... an entire goblin tribe around the corner, in the next cave up .. Finding out where we are wouldn't be bad either. "

''Vitro'' Wizjietroczenon |

"Hmm, what's that...?"
Vitro straightens out Tsuto's finger to get a good look at the ring.
Spellcraft to identify: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18
Adding the +2 to identify from Elven Magic that I forgot earlier.

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

"Let's get Ameiko out of here. i'll get her to the templetoget her checked.. I'll get her there without going through the furnace hall"
vy says this with a stern look on his face, trying to tell the others that there is something upsetting for Ameiko in that room.
He picks Ameiko up and under his guidance they leave the cave

![]() |

"Okay... well, let's not get split up now..."
Vitro loads Tsuto into the wheelbarrow - not overly gently, but careful enough that he won't get hurt on the way back. And gets going, motioning to the rest to follow.
Seems to me that Justin and Vy have the same walking speed anyway.
"We'll have to come back here later and map this place more thoroughly, it's a risk to the town all these underground access routes."

![]() |

Justin is less gentle about climbing into the wheel barrel and positioning the prisoners arms to make a good book stand, peering over the diary on the way.
"This could be important "

GM Woran |

I am pleased to inform you that you are now lvl 2!
Carefully making your way back trough the tunnel you do see some suspicious stone work. But first things first, and that is getting Ameiko to safety.
Ameiko leans on Snowflake while making the trek back, often asking the same questions. It seems she has not recovered yet from the bump on the head.
Emerging into the glassworks, Ameiko wants to search it, to see if everyone is OK, but you manage to gently steer her away from the furnace room, and outside into the fresh air.
Once you make it outside, you see several guards standing at the ready. They look immensely relieved once they notice its you.
From the small crowd of onlookers, Bethana rushes forward, making a beeline for Ameiko.
"Ameiko, Desna be praised, what happened?! You look awefull! I just had to call more help."
While Bethana talks to Ameiko and tries to clean Ameiko's head with her apron, one of the guards takes you aside.
The insignia on his armor indicates he's a captain.
"Its a relief to see you all out. What happened in there?"
I'm spoilering the inside of Tsuto's journal, as you've read it, but I'm leaving to you what you want to share now, either with the guard or with your companions.
This small, leather-bound booklet contains two dozen parchment pages, most of which Tsuto has filled with maps of Sandpoint or
erotic drawings. The maps each depict different attack plans. The first set shows the attack plans for a group of 30 goblins—one of these battle maps is circled. Of more pressing concern are the next several pages, which illustrate an assault on Sandpoint by a force of what appears to be 200 goblins. None of these are circled, and
while many are scratched out as if they’ve been rejected.

![]() |

"Glassworks: walk in, go to the right in the basement. You need 5 guards there, minumum now. A stonemason to collapse the tunnel, or put in some defenses wouldn't be bad either. There's a tunnel there that the goblins know about and they plan on attacking through it. Longer term, we have Some more threats" he tap taps the journal "And you two are in for one hell of a family reunion. We really should talk about this inside, over breakfast. So we don't panic the town. "

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

"Maybe now that Ameiko is save, and out of sight, let's search that room Tsuto was sleeping in, and that strange part in the rocks.

![]() |

" The room yes, but breakfast and debriefing before we go exploring the tunnels. If we die down there the town doesn't hear about this" he taps the book And there's some blanks you're going to have to fill in. We're dealing with an entire circle of people leading these goblins

![]() |

Justin is going to learn his lesson this time and looks to his taller companions for that one. Though he does whisper to Oskar
"I don't suppose there's 5 guards who DIDN"T have relatives in there? "

Vy "Snowflake" Baro |

"We've all learned an important lesson today. Goblins are vile evil creatures that should NOT be trusted. With anything or...anyone"
