ok, this is when the PBP venue sux. I now believe I have no idea what's going on...there's 1 troll down, one up between K and V, and 3 statues/golems coming through the door, right? Don't we want to keep them from coming in and smashing the squishier party members? You'd rather me target one downed troll and one standing troll??

  • Aye. Those trolls won't stay down. If you drop burn both trolls, then they'll likely be dead (Vojtek hopefully drops one.) In the door we have two things made of stone. They're going to get us, but fighting a war on 2 fronts sucks. Rule #26

Davosh has the crux of it; fire and/or acid is necessary to prevent the trolls' regeneration from working on a given round, and is needed to keep them down.

Also, the caryatid columns are just coming in for huggsies. ;-)

I'm not giving huggsies to anything that was mean to Davosh's doggies. You must love animals to get hugs from Edward.

    Ill post Adam/Vojtek

    Raging Votek!

The incredibly furious barbarian focuses his rage on the orange troll. The small part of his mind that is not consumed with fury notes Kappi's nasty sword cut. With the troll left bewildered (with a -2AC) Vojtek knows he must strike NOW!

    Massive Furious attack flanking w/ Kappi 1d20 + 12 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 12 - 2 + 2 = 27
    Great Sword 2d6 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 11 + 6 = 28

i believe he also gets a bite attack on full attack round. But I couldnt find the stats for it on his character. Ill roll it and let the GM judge as he may

    Crazy biting attack 1d20 + 12 - 5 ⇒ (12) + 12 - 5 = 19
    SnaggleTooth bite 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Orange falls prone before the barbarian's assault, but the wounds start to close almost at once (pending Ali's Concentration check and her burning hands going off, since Blue is still conscious)!

    Since
    1) I now have a better understanding of what's going on
    2) I can't cast a good burning hands without hitting Vojtek

I'd like to retcon my action to a 5' step over the dead troll to strike the downed Orange with my flaming sword

    Mother may I? :-)

    You may.

Also, usually people don't call me "mother" without another word (decidedly more pejorative) after it. ;-)

    Thank you, mother flocker.

This is a strike, not a CDG since Blue is threatening...+4 due to prone. He's got zero dex, too. :-)

    attack: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 4 = 16
    damage: 1d10 + 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 4 + (2) = 13

And Orange stops moving after Ali's blow, its wounds no longer healing!

Five-star Hound of Tindalos. Er, GM. Whatever. | RoW Encounter Map |

Blue's wounds close up a little, and he lashes out at Vojtek!

    Blue battleaxe: 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 7 - 4 = 12
    battleaxe dmg: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 = 9

    bite: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 4 = 9
    bite dmg: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

    claw: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 2 - 4 = 3
    claw dmg: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Meanwhile, the columns press the attack on thier own! White charges Edward!
    W longsword: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
    W dmg: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

    And Green attacks Davosh!
