That's my count too. And no, Inira wasn't surprised, which is why those attacks weren't against her flat-footed AC. Cos then ouch more — I think she'd be dead dead.
Inira falls and her blood does not clot just yet (-11 hp), but Jillia manages to get there and staunches the bleeding (stable at -11)!
Muzhaa'f and Oloch continue to advance, while Nemis launches a mental missile at the thing!
The snake monstrosity thinks Jillia looks like a tasty morsel, taking a five-foot step slither and...
bite 1: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 1 = 18

bite 5: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 6 + 1 = 9

As it attacks, the wound from Nemis begins to heal almost at once!
You guys are up!

Kaylee stops performing, allowing her performance to linger on as shimmering versions of herself dance around her. In contrast to the beautiful dancing of the shimmering versions of herself, she screams with rage at the snake-thing, "STOP HURTING MY FRIENDS!!"
Then, again not really matching her current emotional state, she launches into a joke about the creature's mother. Casting hideous laughter on the creature, DC 17 Will save or falls into uncontrollable laughing spasms for 3 rounds. Her performance continues to benefit her allies for 2 more rounds.

Something to consider about Hideous Laughter: A creature with an Intelligence score of 2 or lower is not affected. A creature whose type is different from the caster's receives a +4 bonus on its saving throw, because humor doesn't "translate" well.

Sorry, Inira. Hang in there.
Jillia steps over Inira's uncconscious body, draws her sword, and does her best to find a spot on the mass of snakes worth attacking.
Soft Action: Spend a Panache to double precise strike damage.

"Fall already!" Jillia shouts.

@Nemis: Yeah, I'm aware. Unfortunately Kaylee doesn't know whether this creature is intelligent, and all of her spells are similarly best used against humanoids. She was really built as a "come and love me" character. LOL
| GM thunderspirit |
Mini-update:
Kaylee's spell, unfortunately, seems to have no effect whatsoever! Nemis is spot-on, Int score is 2, sorry!
Jillia five-foots in and finds the body as vulnerable amid the hissing snake heads, and her precision damage goes through as well! nearly as soon as the blade comes out, however, the wounds start to knit again!

Is it metagaming to assume that fire might help vs. regeneration?
Probably. But you're Pathfinders; you'd try things just to see what happens, right? ;-)

A fire bolt was going to be my next action anyway, unless another Pathfinder went down.

Muzhaa'f channels, excluding the hydra, while Nemis sends a small missile into the beast! Still unconscious, the wounds continue to knit, prompting the Sarenraeite to use a firebolt...and the wounds cease healing!
Out of combat!

"Thanks for keeping me alive."
Inira offers her wand of CLW to heal everyone up.

"Haha, nobody bets us!"
Jillia offers a hand to pick Inira off the ground, then high fives to everyone.
"Not done yet, though," she says, grinning and waving to the cave. "Shall we?"
10 Hp here, if you're counting wand charges.

"Yes, let's. It appears I've tipped the balance of my training. I've been spending too much time inside my own mind and not learning of what others have to offer. I wish that I had known more about that beast."
Nemis heads in.

The structure lies just beyond the boulders where the snake beasts attacked. The sound of metal crashing on stone is more noticeable here, echoing through the clearing between the hills of the Terwa Uplands.
What appears to have been a once-below ground level has been excavated a great deal. The walls are build of granite blocks, crumbling in spots with age, of massive size. About the ground, virtually everywhere (NSFW, language), are snakes of all kinds.
A breach in the wall itself reveals a room with an entirely absent roof, open to the sky. Folding tables and makeshift scaffolds have been set up around the room, and the interior walls have been meticulously cleaned and labeled, revealing a mosaic with sway-backed, one-eyed astronomers at the base of a tall tower.
To the east, a huge ivory sphere rests atop a high balcony; to the north, doors leading further into the structure have been smashed open to offer a glimpse of a wide hall beyond.
In the northwest corner is a group of archaeologists working diligently to clear and catalog what they have found. Directing them is a woman who matches the description of Juliet Dias.

The archaeologists turn to Jillia and smile broadly. Ah! Yes, I am Juliet Dias. Welcome, welcome! She dusts herself off and comes to shake hands warmly, her voice a little raised to be easily heard above the din in the distance. Alive? Of course we're alive! I assure you we are in no danger here. Besides, we can't leave just yet — we have discovered so much at this site. Come, take a look! She gently takes Jillia by the hand. You must see the wonders we have uncovered here! she exclaims, guiding her toward the mosaic along the wall and pointing out fascinating intricate details.

Nemis bends his knees and holds his hands to his temples, a gesture devoid of somatic power, but one he finds comforting before combat.
Jillia Tennille

"Well, your base camp was convinced that you were missing and unrecoverable. They're packing up at Azlant Ridge as we speak," Jillia lets on, a bit of anger towards the cowards seeping through her cheerful tone. "Before we get too far into the lecture, what's with the racket?"
Jillia nods her head towards the noise. "Base camp said a construct chased after you. See anything of the sort?"
| GM thunderspirit |
Oh, that? says one of the archaeologists above the din, as Juliet walks to Inira, eager to show her all she has found. I wouldn't worry about that at all. Wholly harmless.
Yes, another nods. Harmless. Oh! she says to Jillia, as if remembering something. Have you seen the sphere yet? she asks, pointing to the ivory sphere on the balcony, just like the one seen at Azlant Ridge. Now don't touch it — it makes people sick, don't you know — but it's simply a marvel to see up close!
Yes, it's all very safe, Juliet says, nodding to Inira as well. So long as you don't disrupt our work or destroy anything, you're perfectly welcome to look about. But of course you wouldn't do something like that; after all, you're Pathfinders as well! Ah, how forgetful of me! She chuckles to herself as she grabs a brush and starts dusting off a piece of the mosaic, her brush moving in time to the crashing sound in the distance.

Anyone who promises that something is perfectly safe is typically lying...
Nemis centers his mind and expands it. The increase in perception is unsettling for a moment, but he's quickly becoming used to it in the field. He's not a fan of invading others this way, but to him it's no different then a well given speach from a master of rhetoric...

"OH MY GOSH IT'S SO PRETTY!!!" Kaylee marvels, transfixed by the carvings. She almost reaches out to touch it but manages to stop herself. "You're SOO LUCKY to get to work at such a cool place! Like, wow!"

I'm not sure, honestly, another says. Just that Arletta touched it and hasn't been feeling well since she did. And we can't afford time to be sick when surrounded by such a marvelous find!
Nemis
|
"Tell us about the Starwatcher Spirit."
I do dig the psychic...
Muzhaa'f
|
"Hmm." Muzhaa'f frowns. He speaks quietly to the others, away from the Azlant Ridge archaeologists' hearing. "Something is not right here. Don't look at the sphere and definitely don't touch anything."
"Hasn't been feeling well, you say? May I see her?" Muzhaa'f moves to examine the ill woman. Heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 bleh
| GM thunderspirit |
Oh no no, we haven't touched it, Juliet says in response to Muzhaa'f attempt. Arletta did, though, and she's been sick ever since. Might be some ancient disease passed via contact, don't you know. We've left her in the camp, hoping she'll get better. She makes a vague gesture east toward the gap between the balcony holding the sphere and the wall.
Juliet smiles broadly at Nemis' question. The Starwatcher Spirit! It watches over us and protects us. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's a loci spirit, or perhaps it's a benevolent essence tied to this place. You can see it if you want! Go take a look through the crack! Straight through those doors — she points at the doorway with the smashed doors on the ground — and down the hallway a bit. It's on your right. Marvelous thing, it is!

"I know Janira's Confirmation report on me claimed I was 'slow on the uptake' but I've got this nagging feeling that this recovery mission isn't going to be easy," Jillia understates, headed towards the shattered doorway.
"Shall we?"
| GM thunderspirit |
Through the doorway, the rhythmic crashing gets louder, echoing off the stone walls about you. The ceiling is intact here, and the light begins to fade from the opening behind you.
To the left is a large alcove with a stone fountain, with a stone carving above it. Before you rises a giant-sized wall; sure enough, on the right about ten feet in, a rupture can be seen in the limestone; it narrows to a small crack, eight or nine inches long and perhaps an inch wide, that is about five feet off the ground. Light can be seen streaming from it, casting a soft glow in the otherwise dim light.

Point of clarification: The gap is large enough for something to fit through down low, and narrows to a thin gap higher up? Or it is a narrow gap the whole way up, smaller than a person? In other words, would we fit through it?
| GM thunderspirit |
It starts as a broken part of the wall, then narrows to the thin gap very quickly. You would need to be able to fit through a nine-inch-by-one-inch gap.
