Kaylee moves forward while continuing to cheer her allies on, and also blows a kiss at one of the monkey-men, attempting to charm him with her feminine wiles, despite being a different species.
The closer monkey man gets a DC 17 Will save against unnatural lust, and it likely gets a +4 on its save for not normally finding a human female (however attractive she might be) attractive. If it fails, it must move toward Kaylee on its next turn (provoking AOOs along the way) and try to kiss and caress her.

GM thunderspirit |

Jillia's lightning-quick movement around the chauru-ka is impressive, though not as impressive as the blade she drives through its skull! The chauru-ka crumples to the ground!
Out of combat!
Happ sticks his head out from his hiding place. Are they gone?
The terrified archaeologist restates his intent to depart in the morning. He fetches a satchel from Juliet's tent, asking you to bring it to her — if she's still alive — and assuring you she won't mind if you make use of the contents. Inside are an unfinished report to the Pathfinder Society and a lens of detection.

![]() |
Oloch reads the note, grunts and hands it to his fellow Pathfinders.
So where is this light she is talking of? Oloch inquires of Happas he flicks blood of his massive sword.

![]() |

I'm back!
Ooh, like, this note looks like it's from a Pathfinder! We should TOTALLY figure out what it's about! The light... that must be what that nice guy was, like, talking about, right? The light that shows up when, like, bad stuff is around? We should probably go investigate. That's what Pathfinders do!"

![]() |

"Let us go, though I urge caution. A light that can communicate may also be capable of dominating."
Nemis turns to the people here, "We will be back as soon as we have answers, for good or ill. Be safe awaiting our return."
Ready.

GM thunderspirit |

Happ informs you that the light shines northeast of Azlant Ridge, visible at night. Since they are leaving in the morning, he suggests the party do the same so they can see the light (and protect the archaeologists as well).

GM thunderspirit |

The night passes in relative quiet, and at dawn the party sets out, bidding farewell to Happ and his group as they set off in the other direction.
Tracking the Azlanti monolith through the Terwa Uplands will require a trio of successful Kn (geography) or Survival checks. You will get a bonus from the unfinished missive to the Society; one person should take the lead and others can assist.

Not sure the lens aids in Survival.
"This circular prism lets its user detect minute details, granting a +5 competence bonus on Perception checks. It also aids in tracking, adding a +5 competence bonus on Survival checks when tracking. The lens is about 6 inches in diameter and set in a frame with a handle."
Emphasis added. I assume that's what we're doing.

I was teasing and looking for an excuse to post a clip from Top Secret. :-)

GM thunderspirit |

Muzhaa'f easily finds the path left by the Azlanti monolith (if not the semi-obscure film reference) and soon leads the party through the Terwa Uplands to a high hill choked with tough grasses, atop which stands an enormous vine-covered ruin of granite blocks. The upper levels appear collapsed, exposing a balcony. On this balcony a shining ivory sphere is plainly visible. A narrow path between the tumbled blocks winds up the hill toward the ruin. Ringing from deep within the structure can be heard a steady pounding, as of metal on stone.
