"My friend here will slowly squeeze you to death. It won't be pleasant, that much I can assure you. Surrender and then you become my prisoner, no more harm will come to you. The choice is yours." Peperic says.

Peperic smacks the woman with his blade, trying to hit her with the flat of it.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Damage, if hits: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
-4 to the attack, not sure what she has for her stuff...

With the woman unconscious, the party is able to retrieve Aaqir al'Hakam who joins you in the graveyard. After some investigation, you find out that this is not Umut, but an imposter, a priestess of Uragotha, named Shirin. This is susbstantiated in a week when reports of finding the real Umut's body in the wildlands of Qadira come filtering in.
al'Hakam congratulates the party on a job well done and for protecting the guests in these unseemly circumstances. "What were you able to learn while conversing with the guests?"
You can try to diplomacize Aaqir in order to set up a trade agreemetn with Pellius or buy off Doritannia's debt.

Which would we rather do? Rani would probably vote for the agreement.

Kelevan looks around at the others, but it seems that they aren't ready to answer. "The lady Doritannia... mentioned debt in an odd way. Do you know anything of this?"
Diplomacy: 10 + 7 = 17

Rani agrees, "Debt can surely be a heavy burden to crawl out from under. One who helps another free such shackles would be well remembered."
Diplomacy aid plus Inspiration: 1d20 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 5 + (1) = 8
I'd like to use my shirt/book reroll here.
Diplomacy aid plus 4-star bonus: 1d20 + 5 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 5 + 4 = 17

Aaqir al'Hakam listen quietly, then nods. "That is very interesting. I will speak with Doritannia and see what we can work out." He say noncommitally.
He then smiles and claps each of you on the back. "Regardless, you have done an exemplary job. I He promise to write a report containing my account of the recent events to send to the your Venture-Captain and the Grand Lodge so that you all might be recognized for their efforts."
Thus concludes The Merchant's Wake. Hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
