She is 14, today.

Both of them are now in high school. My older daughter will be 16 at the end of the summer and learning to drive. I am of two minds about that ... having a second person who can drive my wife around is desirable but ... well, she's a teenager.

I'll be away from good computer access July 12 through July 22. It's time for summer holidays feel free to bot me as needed.

From July 25th through until the end of July I'm going to be busy and very unlikely to post. We've got family coming into town from the States.

I am around until next weekend, when I go on vacation for a week. I won't have access during that time.

I am going to Australia for work in mid August, departing August 15 and returning August 24. I may take a personal laptop with me, but don't know what I would be able to access through the wifi at the fly-in mine where I am going.

Hey, all. Sorry for the disappearing act. Hopefully, I have gotten over the work mountain - we've converted regular rooms to isolation rooms in most of the hospitals in the area, and things should start to move back towards normal this week.

I will catch up and start posting again in the next day or so.

Just an FYI - the scenario leaves open the possibility of Hteleitoirl agreeing to go into exile if you make a persuasive enough argument. But frankly I think that's unlikely given his upright character. Also, the coolest part of this adventure happens when he goes home, so...

So here ends "The Borderland Run". The entire thing was a side mission, and not part of "The Pirates of Drinax" at all!

I'd very much like to get to the main storyline, but also want to leave some time open for piracy, which after all is what King Oleb sent you out to do. You folks need to let me know what you want to do.

BTW, the story as written had no assassins in the final scene. I threw them in to give everyone something to do. I hope you liked it!

We'll still permit you to do some training in the spaces between the stars, but I also want to give you some "directed experience".

STEPH - Take Gun Combat (Slug Pistols) 1.

BYRON - Take Melee (Blades) 2.

JERRY - Take Leadership 1.

RAY - Take Recon 1.

DANEEL - Take Electronics (Computers) 2.

Melee (Blades) 2 sounds good to me.

I can drive the bus a little but I need some directions from you. Especially between adventures. I'll help out by narrowing down some likely options:

1) Go pirating for awhile. Reave the starlanes! Make people wish for the return of Drinax!

2) Proceed directly to the first story in the Pirates of Drinax arc.

3) Somthin' else.

I vote for #2. Lets hit the mission. We can hit some trade lanes en route if the mood strikes us. :D
