story:

Born in Korvosa Namon Nazarr seemed destined for a plebeian life, how could a commoner join the most prestigious magical Academae in all of Varisia? Simple, determination and focus. Namon Nazarr entered on a scholarship which he earned, he did his janitorial duties first for two, avoided being fried by magical traps and then he got onto the business of studying magic.

Namon Nazarr despite every disadvantage (including the hatred of his teachers who despised commoners) kept acing his tests and irking the faculty with his "ideas". To Namon Nazarr Hell offered an endless number of mysteries, mysteries to be mastered. Diverting his focus from traditional studies Namon Nazarr came upon a revelation, one his teachers refused to hear in their arrogance.

It had been commonly assumed that wizardly magic was the key to unlocking the might of Hell but Namon in his studies reversed this claim. By studying the magics of Hell and applying it to arcane magic rather than the other way around one could achieve fantastic results. Finally kicked out by the Academae on the eve of his graduation Namon Nazarr goes far and wide to master the arcane secrets of Hell, his journey of diabolical discovery has landed him in Sandpoint...

He plans to stay in this town for a time, both to study and to keep well away form the watchful and hateful eyes of his arrogant and jealous colleagues and teachers.
