I've completely forgotten about the Acolytes' regeneration. I'm giving them two rounds of it right now - it probably won't affect anything, but there you go.
Seeing that this is a fight about time, Alies speeds up time for all her compatriots!
The Acolytes finally attack, laying into Valrar and Dora with their longspears.
Acolyte v. Valrar, 1st attack: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (4) + 22 = 26 This guy was staggered.
Acolyte v. Dora, 1st attack: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (19) + 22 = 41
Acolyte v. Dora, 2nd attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (13) + 17 = 30
Acolyte v. Dora, 3rd attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
Damage v. Dora: 2d8 + 22 ⇒ (3, 2) + 22 = 27
Valrar parries the Acolyte's attack and launches a devastating riposte, driving his rapier through the outsider's chest. It bleeds glowing mathematical symbols!
The other acolyte injures Dora twice with its spear, slamming into her right shoulder and left abdomen. Its icy aura of law does not harm her, though the spear itself does.
Vector suddenly appears behind Luna and attacks, slamming his powerful piston-driven legs into her stomach!
Vector v. Luna, Power Attack: 1d20 + 26 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 26 - 4 = 292d6 + 9 + 8 ⇒ (4, 2) + 9 + 8 = 23

David's only taken 21 damage, due to DR 5. 126/147.
Alright.
Also, I specifically said that if Vector attacked me, I would use Emergency Force Sphere as an immediate.
Hmmm... You said:
In the event Luna is attacked by Vector, or attacked by an acolyte after being brought below 40 hp, she will cast Emergency Force Sphere as an immediate action.
I read both conditions as requiring you to be below 40 hp. But I can see that they were in the alternative, "Vector" or "Acolyte and below 40 hp", so that's fine.
Luna threw up a protective dome of force just in time to counter Vector's attack.
Meanwhile, Valrar is done with being gentle. He deftly beats aside the Acolyte's spear and repeatedly slashes and stabs until the mighty creature of law can stand it no longer and fades to a mere mist of glowing numbers.

Meanwhile, Dora and Rusty battle the final Acolyte, cutting it many times and finding its skin very difficult to harm.

If it makes any difference, I have improved precise shot, which negates anything less than total concealment.
It doesn't. But I just realized that I haven't been giving you credit for Clustered Shot, so the Acolyte suddenly drops unconscious!
Okay, guys, I don't think you have what it takes to beat Vector's DR (Chaotic -and- Epic), so -technically- his regeneration will just keep bringing him back. But how boring is that? Besides, this is already the longest PFS game I've ever been involved in! Completely my fault, of course. So....
COMBAT OVER!

![]() |

Rurik leans on his hammer and lets out a beard waving snort of derision. "It should have known better than to stand against us."

![]() |

I assume you're probably joking about, but just in case, not your fault.
Valrar tosses his scimitar every which way before sheathing it. "Exactly. Should've messed with time himself and backed off when he could."

![]() |

"Well that sure exhilarating" The elven man says.

![]() |

”Alright. Where were we before we were so rudely interrupted? We need to heat the gem , cool it quickly and then smash it. Let’s do it, and see if that works.”

![]() |

"Oh, that. We accomplished that already. See." Rurik gestures to the now broken Opal.
It looks like we broke the Opal back on page 11. GM please feel free to correct this assumption should I be wrong about that.

Tarondor |

With Vector's demise, Ranginori manifests fully into the chamber (see image in the map link). With a gesture, he takes back all the elemental energy he infused into you and sweeps up the shards of the Untouchable Opal. With a second gesture, he whisks all of you away to a ruined castle on the Elemental Plane of Air before any more enemies can arrive.
"My saviors. Much have I seen and heard yet I do not know even so much as your names. Tell them to me, that you may be remembered and that I may thank you properly."
This is your time to shine! To brag before the god you have rescued and to ask any lingering questions you may have. Go for it!

![]() |

Rurik stands with his hammer resting on the floor before him. The holy symbol of Torag clearly visible upon the hammer head. He grips the hammers hilt with both hands as he speaks. "I am Venture Captain Rurik of the clan Delver from the Five Kings Mountains. No thanks is truly needed. There was a chance to set right a wrong done long before our time and we took that chance and got lucky enough to succeed."
Rurik looks at his companions as he finishes his brief statement. He gives his beard a stroke and turns back to look at Ranginori once more. He contemplates the significance of what they have accomplished here this day while listening to the other speak.

Alie’s cheeks flush slightly as she gives her ‘formal’ title. ”I’m Dame Alie Saechel, known in some circles as ‘the Stormtamer,’l she smiles, thinking of her past misadventures aboard that one particular vessel. ”We are all members of the Pathfinder Society. And we are only too happy to have helped you gain freedom.”

Dora likewise provides her introduction
”I am Dora. I have been called many things, and not all kind or true.
It was truly an experience and privilege to have been of assistance this day.
But you probably have far more knowledge of the significance of the events than we can know. Any pearls of wisdom you share will be well received.“

![]() |

Dora likewise provides her introduction with a deep bow.
”I am Dora. I have been called many things, and not all kind or true. Battle Herald of the Society and Oracle of Erastil. Most notable as a Champion of the Ruby Phoenix. All pale in comparison.
It was truly an experience and privilege to have been of assistance this day.
But you probably have far more knowledge of the significance of the events than we can know. Any pearls of wisdom you share will be well received.“

Valrar steps up, looking interested but still overall his aloof self."Valrar the second, bearer of many ill-suited noble titles. More fitting are my accomplishments, such as the founding of the Two Matron's Lodge in the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. Freeing you seemed a worthy and difficult task, and one that would create still more change and conflict. Hopefully for both our betters."

![]() |

Wynreyell slings his bow around his back. "I am Wynnreyell Moonsilver, current Patriarch of the Moonsilver clan. I am just doing my job, which was asked of me from the Society." He then nods. "What is your plans moving forward now that you have been released from your prison?"

![]() |

Luna inclines her head respectfully. "I am Luna Solerra, researcher of the arcane arts and adjunct professor at the Academae of Korvosa.

GM Tarondor |

When Wynn asks him his plans, Ranginori says "First, I will rebuild my realm here in the Plane of Air. Perhaps I can seek to free my entrapped brethren. Then , mortal lifetimes from now, perhaps some balance will return to the inner planes. But for now I have many enemies and I am not that strength which once shook the heavens. Even a god must at times be patient."
"The Pathfinder Society I owe many favors, and all shall be repaid. And you personally most of all. You I shall send rings of great power that will permit you to command the creatures of the air with my blessing."
CONCLUSION
Once the PCs have spoken with Ranginori, he gratefully returns them to Lodehollow, where he passes all but a few pieces of the Untouchable Opal to Sorrina Westyr for permanent and irrevocable burial in the darkest corners of the cosmos. The newly freed elemental lord then makes his first public appearance to the inhabitants of Lodehollow, promising that this monumental event shall be the first of many to come, for all creatures of the Elemental Planes must unite to stand against tyranny. The local oreads and shaitans struggle to make sense of quite what’s happening, but it’s clear that Ranginori has no intentions of remaining idle—perhaps the first kernel of truth to support Vector’s warning of chaos in the days to come. Even so, Sorrina assures the PCs that they’ve done the right thing.
