Dora and Rusty disappear, erased from reality by Vector's transdimensional higher mathematics. Wynn, Valrar and Rurik shoot, stab and pound on the incredible defenses of the mighty inevitable, but at last Rurik drives his longhammer down onto Vector's skull, crushing it like an overripe melon. Time has run out for the guardian of Time.

But right before your eyes you can begin to see time reverse, whisking away the injuries like turning back the hands of a clock! Three of the Acolytes hasten to his side to brush away the veil of time. The fourth Acolyte casts another spell, this time at Valrar.

Suddenly, the flying tiger returns from nothingness!

Luna's spell fizzles on contact with the absolute law of the acolyte's mathematical nature. However, Steven's raw savagery still functions as normal. The acolytes appear to be unaffected by the lightning playing across the dire tiger's claws and their flesh appears to be highly resistant to normal damage.

Sorry, Luna, that crit failed to confirm.

"Alright, enough of this," Luna grunts in irritation. She points at the undamaged Acolyte, electricity coursing through her body once more, empowering and charging up her spell, and snaps her fingers.

Dismissal on Acolyte A, spending an Elemental Might to automatically succeed at my spell resistance check, spending a point of arcane reservoir to bump the DC. Will DC 21 or be sent away from this plane since it's clearly not yours, with a 20% chance to get tossed into a random one instead of home turf.

Noticing electricity had worked on the beast before, Alie grabs her rod of piercing and casts a spell and a bluish tint takes over her sin as she fires a line of electricity at the Vector.

Sadly, the spell fails to harm Vector. The mighty blast of electricity slows as it approaches the spider-like inevitable, weakens and ages in a fraction of a second, then turns to motes of dust and blows away on the unseen winds of time.

The only way I can work out putting the triceratops next to Luna and then charging at least 10' is to have it wind up in base-to-base contact with Vector, which means that Vector will get an Attack of Opportunity.

Steven the tiger claws one of the Acolytes, then disappears. He is replaced by an immense animal of horn and hide that charges Vector. The Inevitable lashes out with a long leg and strikes the monster, which fails to collide with the wily outsider.

They're just not penetrating very well. e.g., Damage Resistance.
