Sorry! Missed that.

Both times Liam hurls a flask of chemicals, they burst into flames and consumed one of the hapless kobold warriors, leaving Chief Roaghaz alone.

That's when you hear Nighttail shouting behind you. She's suddenly engaging a horde of kobold warriors trying to get past her.

Eli, go!

Anyone, give me orders for Eliastra.

Eli loads another arrow and fires at the kobold Chief. "Val get back there with Nighttail and see if you can help."

Eli's arrow caroms off a low-hanging stalactite.

Chief Roaghaz pulls out a slim wand of gray wood and points it in your direction while intoning a single, potent syllable. Thick, ropy strands of webbing burst into being all around you, attaching to everything, ceiling, floor, walls and you.

Liam sees the strands shooting out; familiar, gooey threads he knows all too well, and handily avoids the wand effects.

Valena is trapped in the webs with the immobile Thorny. Eliastra and Liam dodge the ropy strands and remain free to move, although severely limited by the presence of the webbing.

As Valena runs west to confront Chief Roaghaz, Nighttail continues to battle an entire squad of kobolds. They surround and attack here with their tiny spears, slashing and stabbing, injuring the rugged kobold terribly. She stabs out and kills one of them as her lifeblood begins to trickle from her.

Eliastra shoots past webbing, stalactites and Valena to fire an arrow into the savage chief's breast. It wails in pain and dismay, batting ineffectually at the feathered shaft.

Ok - I was meaning that as Val's turn, but copied from the wrong previous post! But we'll go with it.

Liam moves to the north enough to provide a clear shot for Eli and seeing his previous Acid Splash ineffective, readies an Alchemists flask in case he can get a clear shot at the chief.

Ready action - if Val clears splash area or goes down, toss the flask at the Chief

Chief Roaghaz steps back, putting the stalagmite column between himself and Liam, then twists his hands in arcane patterns, producing a javelin of pure sizzling acid, which he hurls at Valena. The acrid bolt goes just past her face and impales the wall behind her, where it drips acid for several seconds.

Liam has 20ft move, needs to do an Acrobatics check to pass through the threatened square to get there... I am unclear if your rules are that he can draw a weapon while moving, or if that is a separate MV or Standard action. If is more than a Swift Action, he will not draw.

It's not my rule. In Pathfinder 1e, anyone with at least a +1 BAB may draw a weapon as a free action while taking a move action. If your BAB is not at least +1, then it it is a move action to draw the weapon.

As Liam tries to slide by him, Chief Roaghaz whips around his staff and slaps the halfling across the face with solid oak, leaving Liam with a split lip and a burgeoning black eye. But Eliastra uses that moment to shoot the chief. Her arrow thunks solidly into his breast. The chief staggers back, badly hurt.

Spitting blood, the Chief once again invokes his patron. "Die! Fall into the Pit and be damned!"

The vile demonic energies summoned by the chief rip through Valena and Liam, tearing open wounds and causing black oil to drip from their eyes and nostrils. Liam slumps to the floor, dying, while Valena barely remains on her feet.

The scene is a bloody fight in which most of your companions are on their last legs, Thorny. The Chief will kill them if he survives to do that again, but Nighttail is also nearly dead. What do you do?

Thorny's head jerks from side to side as he tries to make sense of the world around him. It takes him but a moment to charge headlong into the webs toward his friends and the Kobold shaman. "Hang on, Nighttail! I'll be right there!"

"ARROOOOO!" Thorny wades deep into the melee AoO against Thorny, and plants himself over the body of his fallen comrade, his sword viciously swinging hoping against hope that it makes purchase inside the shaman.

I have noticed that my dice luck on the Paizo boards is far better as a GM than as a player (though I did once roll 8 maximum rolls in a row as a player in the Emerald Spire).

As a former software developer, current pen tester, I have wondered many times what the code for these dice look like. They don't feel even but that's probably my biases. I sure do miss the "hero points," though. Would have used one just now.
