Erwin takes a step back in the hope of improving the angle of his attack. Levelling his staff at the skeleton, he blasts icy shards in his foe's direction once more.

Muttering a curse under his breath at the missed shot, he calls out to Ragnvald, "Step back into the cover of the doorway!"

Kihleaeshra reaches a hand to her belt, unfastening a small vial. She readies to throw the vial at the skeletons when presented with a shot clear of allies.

Ragnvald curses under his breath at the impervious skeleton and quickly ducks back towards the doorway, following Erwin's wise suggestion.

The skeleton opposite Ragnvald follows his cautious withdraw. Scimitar raised high, the curved blade comes whistling down at the warrior's head.

Ragnvald readies himself, bracing himself for an impact that never arrives.

Peering out from behind the protection of his shield, the large warrior sees the skeleton, flames crackling hungrily about it, sword frozen in mid descent at the temple's threshold.

The other skeleton mills about but is unable to reach the door past it companion.
