At the word 'Baphomet' the curious stature on the table lunges knocking the bottle to the floor. As it shatters, the foul fluid inside immediately expands into a 30-foot-radius cloud of noxious vapors. DC 14 Fort at the start of your turn or suffer 1 of 8 effects. Everyone in the basement is subject to these effects. The vapors created by a bilious bottle are a poison effect.

While the vapours of Daemon god still leaves Oliver untouched, the Sshriek goes straight to his bones or more preciesly his stomach. It twist and turns leaving unable to do anytthing save trying to limps away from the little foul creature. "Kill it," he manages to yell between two rather nasty turns of his stomach.

The fumes in the air have stopped having an effect on Valtyra and the Mandagora's poison has not effect either. The nausea is finally starting to get better.

Valtyra finishes off the creature, its lets out a pitiful cry as its dark life is extinguished. After a short time the cloying gas dissipates from the basement chamber.
Treasure
The marilith statue is a cunningly constructed clockwork that does little more than lunge its arms when a specific word is uttered-in this case, the word " Baphomet." The marilith toy weighs 10 pounds and is worth 250 gp.
The chest has been emptied save for five holy symbols of Iomedae stacked under a note that reads, " We don't need these anymore, but figured if you survived our surprise, it would be just plain rude to leave behind an empty chest for your troubles!"
All five holy symbols have been coated with malyass root paste a contact poison.

A new job to more time than expected.
Finally sheathing his sword Oliver catches his breath in the somewhat cleaner air. "That was a though one, I thought it had you at one point," he remarks then turns to Sam and asks: "How is the old man, not to badly hurt?" Then notices the red glowing eyes, his hand finds the hilt and he mutters under his breath: [b]"Not you too."[/ooc]

"Stable." Sam looks up at Oliver, obviously pissed. "All right, why the hell would all of you stay in the damn gas cloud? It was the smarter choice to bring the fight up where we weren't also getting screwed up by poison. Now we got a man down, and I sure as hell ain't carrying him all the way back - hey, Valtyra, come over here and heal him so he can pick himself up, all right?"

A bit annoyed Oliver replies: It was where the fighting was, it is not something you just move." Looking as Valtyra heals Mordan he adds: "he might have fallen not matter where the fight was." His voice shifts to a more concerned tone: "What happened to you, your eyes..." his voice trails off and he keeps a guarded stance.

With a moan, the paladin slowly sits up holding a hand to his head. "Please tell me it's gone. My head is ringing something fierce, and I'm not sure I can focus my eyes right now. Is everyone else OK?" Mordan will hold his holy symbol to his forehead, murmuring a soft prayer to Iomedae.
