Oliver Cross |

Emerging from the sewers Oliver smile as the sun caresses his face. Opening his eyes he takes in the sight before him and slowly the smile lessens before disappearing. "By the love of all the gods..." he says unable to finish the sentence. He goes silently to the nearest destroyed building poking at the rubble with his foot. at the second scream they hear, he looks up, anger present in his face. "Should we continue up here what we started below?" he asks adding: "I have an urge to kill."

Sam Jakobs |

Sam looks out at the city carefully, before searching the horizon for their origin point - where the group fell from before. They narrow their vision, looking at Hargus' body before glancing back out in the distance.
"...I'm going there," Sam announces, pointing towards the ruined plaza where the cathedral once stood. "I just...I need to see if I can find him."

Haroon Falstaff |

I guess the square's as good a place as any to start looking for the remnants of the Eagle Watch. Hopefully they find us before anything else does, Haroon adds with a shiver, before adjusting his cloak to ensure that the wings and tail that proclaim his fiendish heritage remain well hidden.

GM Striker |

Anevia: Anevia explains that she and her wife Irabeth share a small home in eastern Kenabres-she asks you to escort her there so she can see not only whether she still has a home, but also whether there's been any word there of her wife's whereabouts.
Aravashnial: Aravashnial is concerned about his fellow Riftwardens, and that he'd like to be brought to Blackwing.
Horgus: If the rich man had an "insurance" policy it will certainly be hard to collect given the state of the city. Locating the heart of any resistance fighters would be your best be to try and find someone powerful enough to revive him.
Travel through the city's ruins is difficult and it is clear that the streets are not safe.

Valtyra Beltain |

"I believe we should head first to the inn, as most of us had only been carrying minimal supplies. We can then retrieve anything that was ours that is left. If we happened to pass by the places that Anevia and Aravashnial have asked then we can help them as well. But we all need more equipment then what we had when we fell down into the ground." Valtyra looks at each one of the party. Valtyra looks around and then climbs up one of the few trees that she can see to get a better view of where they are in the city. Once she knows where they are she climbs back down. "We are currently in the outer part of the city, we are far from the main square. The inn that everyone had been staying at is also in the outer part of the city north of where we stand right now."
She then points toward the two area to show the others where roughly the two sites would be if they are still standing.

Ginger Axegrinder |

Once Ginger is finally on the surface she looks all around with a very sad expression etched onto her face. "The City...its gone." She falls quiet unable to really process all that has happen. She will follow behind everyone as they move to the inn pulling out her war hammer and shield so she can be ready for anything at attacks. The scar on the side of her face feels strained and irritable because of the destruction the demons have done.

Sam Jakobs |

"You got a point, Legs," Sam tells Valtrya, sighing a bit. "Okay, but, let's try and figure out first which place is closest to us - whatever that one is, we'll go and do first. Then the next, and the next, and so on so we can deal with everything as quickly as we can, all right?"

Haroon Falstaff |

Is that the Inn? I think we all want to go to the inn.
Haroon stays close to the others, trying to look every way at once.
perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

Elder Greylocke |

Mordan keeps his emotions in check, though the sight of the ruined city has certainly jolted him. "These streets are dangerous, and any resistance is unlikely to be spread out. We should minimize the amount of travel through these streets. Of our destinations, which is closest? We should start there and plan a path that keeps our travel to the smallest amount needed to get to these destinations."

Valtyra Beltain |

We need to head towards the inn but we can stop at the nearest spot if it is one of the places that the 3 npc need to go.

Haroon Falstaff |

Ok, so then location I is where Aravashnial wants to go, and it's the closest location, so I guess we should head there. If the inn is area O it's on the other side of the map, and it's probably going to take us a while to get there.

Oliver Cross |

Studying the gesticulations of Valtyra Oliver gains a little understanding of the city layout. "I think Greylocke is right we should plan our travels, but I for one wouldn't mind settling a few scores along the way."

Haroon Falstaff |

Which way then, Oliver? Haroon asks. I admit, I don't know the city very well, and it's generally good to have a plan, but with Kenabres so devastated, it might be better to hold off on our decision-making until we have more information. Blackwing is closest, and the Riftwardens might have survived with their magics, and have good information for us as we make our way. Haroon looks around once more, jumpy as a long-tailed cat in a room of rocking chairs. Whichever way we go, let's move quickly. Our odds aren't very good on the move, but they have to be better than standing still.
Ready to go to location I, nearest spot an NPC wants to go.

GM Striker |

So current plan is I -> J -> O and clear out the outer ring of the city?
Traveling through the remains of the city proves almost as difficult as the tunnels. Though in only a short time it becomes clear that the city may be even more dangerous.

As more of their numbers are cut down the survivors flee back into the ruins that surround you.
The Librarium of the Broken Black Wing-called " Blackwing" to the locals-has a reputation for containing the most complete record of research on demon hunting in the country. Unfortunately, Blackwing now lies in ruins-all that remains standing is the Librarium's facade and its reinforced great hall.
Curiously, the buildings surrounding Blackwing seem not to have been as damaged-it's as though some force singled out Blackwing for destruction.

Sam Jakobs |

"Hey, elf, gone does not necessarily mean dead. So man up and let's take a moment to sift the ruins and see if there's anything left behind here that you need. Or barring that, anything we can take revenge upon."
The gunslinger checks their pistol as they walk towards the great hall, peeking inside and looking for anything that needed to be shot.

Haroon Falstaff |

Haroon gently pats Aravashnial on the back, then lends him a hand to help him back to his feet. Sam's right, although I was always under the impression that squires should be courteous in word and deed. Haroon shakes his head and curls his lip into a small frown at the gunslinger. Regardless, any survivors may have left some clue as to their fates inside the structure, or in the surrounding buildings. We will search them, and find what clues we may.

GM Striker |

The front door to the main hall hangs ajar and the brash sound of his voice barking orders to " stack the damn books better!" peals out from within.
Moving through the door you find five frightened librarians cowed- four of them bound hand and foot in the center of the room, while the fifth, a weeping woman, is being forced to make a ring of books stacked around the four.
