Patterson dons a pair of light gloves and grips the remote control loosely, a manic grin on his face. "Too bad we don't have a kinesthetic feedback setup...it's harder to get a feel for performance without at least a few of the g's."

The race starts and he immediately hits the accelerator control, sending the small craft roaring down the track. "We're better off if only one or two of you shoot at a time, hey?"

I'm unsure / have forgotten what guns we have available but if there is an unmanned kinetic weapon then Fixit will fire it at Ratrod. If there is an unmanned energy weapon then he will fire it at Orsis.

Fixit grabs the controls for one of the weapons, preferably his own specially crafted Junk Cannon, and fires on the competition.

Velocity's racer presents a kinetic weapon that was previously hidden, and fires upon Ratrod. They score a firm hit upon Ratrod.

Nyzin then fires upon Laboni's racer with her kinetic weapon! She hits!

At the onset of the race, both Ratrod and Laboni's racers careen off of each other, get entangled for a moment, slowing both of them down, though Ratrod's racer obviously has more power, and inches ahead. Nyizin is able take advantage of the distraction, and flies forward! Velocity easily keeps up with her, as LemGem struggles with her complex vehicle.
With all of the fire focused on Orsis, he is unable to get his vehicle off the starting line!
