Wow. That post must have gotten eaten or something...

As the team heads towards the warehouse with the feather stalker, a rudimentary courier drone moves up to them. "Starfinders?" it queries. When it detects their implants, a compartment opens up. Inside is a standard datajack, and a credstik with 100 credits. There is also a frostbite-class zero rifle. A simple electronic (text) message says, 'These are tokens of thanks from the Dataphiles. The rifle is something the Ceren found lying around. Please use them appropriately. Historia-7'

The doors to the warehouse were forced open and no longer lock. The warehouse ceiling is 30 feet high, and a catwalk runs 15 feet above the floor. The crates and vehicle are approximately 5 feet tall, while the cylindrical containers and the crate-filled scaffolding are 10 feet tall. Climbing the crates and scaffolding requires a successful Athletics check. A pit in the warehouse floor is 10 feet deep. The scattered junk on the floor creates an area of difficult terrain. The lights on the catwalk are not bright enough to illuminate the area, leaving the warehouse in dim light.

You can search crates as a full-round action.

In dim light, you can somewhat make out shapes, but you can’t see precise details well at all. Dim light includes moonlight outside at night and bright starlight, or a starship’s emergency backup lights. An area just beyond the range of a light source has dim light. Creatures within an area of dim light have concealment (20% miss chance; see page 253) from creatures without darkvision or the ability to see in darkness. Because dim light is not ideal for observation, if you’re in an area of dim light, you can attempt a Stealth check to conceal yourself from creatures without low-light vision, darkvision, or blindsight. Dim light does not affect creatures with low-light vision, which can see in dim light as if it were normal light.

Raia shouts "It is going to get slippery!" and she begins casting grease on the floor beneath the wild beast.

Grease DC 14 or fall prone:

School conjuration (creation)

Casting Time 1 standard action

Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)

Area or Targets one 10-ft. square or one object

Duration 1 minute/level (D)

Saving Throw Reflex partial, see text; Spell Resistance no

You cover a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must succeed at a Reflex save or fall prone. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a successful DC 10 Acrobatics check. Failure means the creature can’t move that round and must then succeed at a Reflex save or fall prone, while failure by 5 or more means it falls prone (see the Acrobatics skill for details). A creature that doesn’t move on its turn doesn’t need to attempt this check and isn’t considered flat-footed. The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Unattended material objects are always affected by this spell. If you attempt to affect an object in a creature’s possession, the creature can attempt a Reflex save to negate the effect. If the creature fails the initial saving throw, it immediately drops the item and must attempt a new save each round it attempts to pick up, hold, or use the item. A creature wearing greased armor or clothing gains a +5 circumstance bonus to Acrobatics checks to escape a grapple and a +2 circumstance bonus to its AC against grapple combat maneuvers.

I did stun damage instead of lethal, so it should go unconscious instead of dying, right?

Unfortunately, no. Only the last damage dealt matters for lethal vs non-lethal. However, that is why it is dying and not dead (GM fiat).

Steev tries to staunch the bleeding, but without training is not able to help! Currently, he has not done any harm, but...
Medicine is a trained only skill, so would require Aegis-9 or Fixit to attempt.

"Rest assured, Steev," Aegis-9 says as he kneels down to attend the creature (and suddenly remembering he has Medicine as a skill), "I will do whatever I can to ensure that this... unusual creature... does not expire on my watch. I suggest, however, that we acquire an adequate sedative in order to ensure that he does not pose further threat until he can be released."

Steev lets out a worried sigh and grins at Aegis-9. "Bonzer, mate! I hate to see the little sheila all out of sorts. Poor thing's just out of her element, and acting a bit grumpy!"

Fury's Toll | MotD

Having successfully incapacitated the feather stalker with minimal damage to the warehouse, the team then makes their way to the line for the new Strawberry Machine Cake album. The line goes on for blocks already, and is populated by folks exhibiting a wide variety of bright colors in their hair and outfits. The sounds of sugar-pop can be heard coming from a variety of devices, as everyone is excited for the new release!

You will have time to take 10 minutes to burn a resolve to heal stamina, but no time to rest to heal hit points.

Please describe what you do in line

Spotting the lengthy line, Aegis-9 releases a mechanical sigh. "Patience is a virtue." the android recites as he quietly takes a place at the back of the line.

"But is it one we have to have? And will they have enough? What if we slip around back and find a clerk we could bribe?"
