About Aegis-9

Appearance:
This tall, imposing android often wears a dark, blue helmet with a silver face-shield. Beneath it, his blue-toned skin is pocked with the outlines of circuitry that can occasionally be seen pulsing beneath his bluish dermal layer. His armor sports a red, metallic sheen, accented with flashes of white that, when seen as a whole, convey a subtle shield motif.

Idaran force training baton
An Idaran force training baton is a 2nd-level uncategorized basic melee weapon that deals 1d4 bludgeoning damage. The damage from this weapon counts as a force effect when wielded by a character with at least 12 Strength. Note, this does not mean the weapon deals force damage, only that it counts as a force effect for overcoming certain defenses such as incorporeal. It has the operative and powered (capacity 20, usage 1) special properties, it is light bulk.

In Combat:

Aegis-9 stands his ground and shouts, "Get 'em."
As a move action, Aegis-9 chooses one enemy within 60'. Until the start of his next turn, he and his allies receive a +1 morale bonus to attack rolls against that enemy (Envoy Improvisation).

Aegis-9 remains close to his ally, altering the profile of his technoframe in an effort to protect his comrade.
As a reaction, when ally adjacent to Aegis-9 is attacked, Aegis-9 grants a +2 circumstance bonus to the ally’s AC against that attack. Aegis-9 then takes a -2 penalty to AC until the beginning of his next turn. (Bodyguard feat)

As Captain, Aegis-9 seeks to inspire and lead by example rather than bluff or intimidate. Unless circumstances dictate otherwise, he chooses to help the crewmember with the least apparent ability (the one with the lowest Starship Skill modifier).
