I'm not ready to take back over yet, but I did want to come for a moment to reply to Rig's post in gameplay.
The long arrow shows which way the ship is facing. The tiny arrow on top of the ship was not behaving for me.
The captain did not act last turn, but at that point it had become clear there was nothing he could have done that would have any impact, so I moved us on.
It's usually implied that when the pilot rolls, they also moved at the same time, so I assumed that you had done so.

OK, everyone, I think it's become clear at this point that this table of GM school has run into some problems. It appears that only two students are still here. Your mentor is also mostly unavailable, although I am filling in for him. Ultimately, responsibility for this is mine, as the organizer for GM school, and I apologize this has not worked out as intended. They question is how best to handle this now, both in terms of how to get Skorn a chance to GM something short with help nearby, and also what to do about the scenario.
Before I start making suggestions, do you guys have any ideas?

GM Hmm |

Okay, so I think we have an even more important question to ask you. It appears that we have a team of 3 players left, not counting Redelia.
I see as Active:
Morroda Metalbender
Morvruul the Merchant
Rig Datarunner
There are two quests ahead for which we have absentee GMs.
But... I am looking at this issue as a teaching moment. This is what happens sometimes in a Play-by-Post campaign if things slow down, or we lose people... At some point in your GMing career, you might have to take over a game that has stalled because a GM had real life issues that hit at the wrong time. It's a great skill to know how to breathe life into a game that has stalled. So, I'd like to ask you what you would like to do, going forward.
Would the two remaining student GMs like to split up the remaining quests between them while we recruit some new players? I'd like to see this game move, and for it to be an opportunity for you both to learn while having fun. I'd also like to bring in a couple more people so that we can fill up the game. I'm thinking that at least one of those needs to be an SFS veteran player.
Thoughts?
Hmm
EDIT: Redelia, you Ninja!!

I am interested in moving forward an dgetting these quests completed.
Also, I am fine with running the next quest. (I've run it before, so it shouldn't be difficult to prep. It seems to be the quickest of the 5).
While 3 is a legal table, I think we could benefit from another player or two.

GM Hmm |

There was at least one new person in Castamirs. Should we recruit them and a veteran?
Hmm

GM Hmm |

Let's recruit them to get back into this fight!
Also, welcome back, Jchack!
Hmm

GM Hmm |

I'm going to be GMing tonight, so I moved you all forward into the next round just to keep us making progress. Everyone can feel free to post again!

GM Hmm |

And... We're done. I had forgotten about the 4 player adjustment when making my last set of GM bots.
So... Let's talk next steps. How shall we do the recruitment of extra players / mentors? Is there anyone specific you want to invite in?
Hmm

OK, everyone, let's return to the table's main thread, which Poblano set up, and use that to discuss what happens next. Just for the sake of clarity, this is the campaign I mean.
Unfortunately, you're going to have to hide this campaign yourself, since the GM is not around to mark it as inactive.

GM Valen |

How does one hide a campaign if they are not the GM?

![]() |

A GM can mark a campaign inactive.
A player can hide a campaign. To do this, go into the listing of all the campaigns and find the gameplay thread for a campaign and click on the circle with a line throught it next to that campaign to hide it.
Right under the black header on this page it say Community/Forums/Online Campaigns. Click on the Online Campaigns part of that.
You'll see a list of subforums. Click on the one that says 'play by post.'
Now find the campaign you want to hide. It's easiest to note when the last post in that campaign in gameplay was made, since that's how they're sorted. On the far right of the screen there are a bunch of circles with lines through them. Find the one for the campaign you are trying to hide and click on it.
