Hello hello everybody. I'll be picking up as a sort of Rogue-like character, since I was told yours died (though the Slayer is covering the main trapfinder role?).
I'll be playing a Stalker, from Path of War. My primary focus would likely be scouting, and mid-ranged combat (either with Thrown weapons or Reach weapons, I haven't decided just yet). As we go on, I'll get useful tricks like being able to teleport or turn ethereal at-will, so I can get a good look at things ahead without much of the usual risk of getting stuck or surrounded too far away from everyone or triggering traps.
Redelia can personally attest to how hard it is to pin down a mid-level Stalker, having recently had to track one down in my Devil's Gorge game.

Scavion |

Hiya. Redelia, I'm thinking a Dungeon Rover/Trapper Ranger archetype mix. Technically they shouldn't stack because they both modify Class Skills(both give Disable Device) but it seems like a fun mix.
I mostly just want it for the Giant Scorpion pet at 4th level. Once I acquire it, I'll name it after my character's first love Nabira in his teenager years. Which affectionately reminds him of her venomous wit.
If not I'll be a Guide Trapper. Weapon of Choice is the Bow.
Name: Moharis Neptamu
Personality: A genial traveler who served as a guide to many dangerous locations within the desert. Expect many over the top stories of horrifying dangers of the sands and visceral descriptions of such things. Eventually his curiosity gets the best of him and he wishes to find out what treasures are so great in such places that drive folks to their doom.

Waffling over going Dex or Str based here. I'll be basically useless combat-wise until 3rd as a Dex based character, given the stupidly high amount of enemies with Hardness in what I've played of this AP (roughly speaking, abut two rooms more than you have, we just got to the mansion here when the game fizzled out).
Eh. Str it is.
That means you will be getting somewhat of a meathead. He's not dumb, but he's boastful and likes to "test his might" against his foes. Fleshing out will be forthcoming.
Scavion tossing in a Trapper kinda makes a third Rogue-y sort seem redundant, though.

Morharis Neptamu |

"Morharis Neptamu at your service kind gentlemen. May this sand wastrel guide thee to riches beyond your imaginations. Ah...but if you could open the door for me I would appreciate it. I'm quite certain there isn't any vicious sand worms on the other side."

Nearly done with crunch, here's the character:
Jeggare Crook, despite the name, is a Garundi man from a relatively prominent and well respected family that makes its home on the Crook river, their ancient home sitting on the banks near where it joins the Asp.
Jeggare ("Gar" to his friends) was brought up as a devout member of the Guards of the Cycle, and follows its tenets without question. This is not to say he's a dour man, quite the opposite. Gar is jovial, loves a challenge, and dresses in clothing just this side of eye-searing...and only that because many of his non-Garundi friends have asked him to tone it down over the years.
Gar has a strong sense of responsibility, and sees any companions as somewhat of an extension of his family. He will fight to the last breath to protect them from harm (both physical and otherwise).
---------------------------------------
What kind of wealth are we looking at? Standard for 2nd? I remember being a good bit over WBL for 2nd by the time we got done with the first dungeon last time, but split more ways that may not be the case.

GM Redelia |

Yep, standard WBL. Two characters have one very valuable item found in the last part and only starting wealth otherwise, the rest have WBL for 2. The wealth found in part 1 of the adventure is mostly in a very valuable piece of armor and shield. Your 'GM gift' item will not be considered when figuring WBL.

GM Redelia |

The items I gave the other players at the start were wands (CLW for those who could use them, Magic Missile for the sorcerer, Inflict Light Wounds for the dhampir) or custom ioun stones that boosted skills for the skill monkeys. I think both players who got the ioun stones have left now, though. I'm still working on learning enough about the POW classes to come up with ideas for you guys.

Malik Adraza |

Hey everyone, just a warning that I am starting to move across country on Sunday and it will be a four day drive plus getting set up there. Might mean a reduction in posts.

Sundakan |

Yeah, Redelia and I talked some things over. Basically, the dark and edgy flavor was a bit iffy to her, and I wanted to reflavor it anyway, so we came up with a Martial Tradition (Guards of the Cycle) to trade out Black Seraph for Silver Crane, and I'm flavoring the Fiend's Grip as something a little "gooder".
Was thinking golden chains and vambraces or some such.
Used a trait to take Veiled Moon so I could still do the scouting thing if people want (if not, Cursed Razor is also a solid Discipline so I may swap back to that. Curses are so quintessentially Egyptian.).
Everything else should be in order as far as a normal Warder or Marauder are concerned.
Progression-wise I'll probably take Artful Dodger and TWFing next level, or hold off on TWFing and take Improved Grapple. I don't think we have a dual wielder yet, gives me a bit more of a niche from all the melee pounders. =)
And lots of chances to grapple.

I'm a dual wielder.

Everyone - This is the week leading up to the huge bocce tournament that I run. I take off the whole week to prepare and I'm ridiculously busy getting ready. My posting this week will be scarce.
Thanks!

Malik Adraza |

Hey again. Just an update. I've made it to my new apartment in Ottawa and have been unpacking and building IKEA furniture furiously. Internet will be installed tomorrow and I'll get back to posting regularly. Sorry for the delay!

Hajar nar Jundi; Osiris' Chosen |

And her he is I have to get his general appearance up but I believe this is mostly it.

Jibril Carver |

Hi - we're shortly going on our annual family vacation, for 2 weeks. I believe I'll have Internet access throughout but will try to avoid getting too dragged into the computer. Will try to post once a day, assuming the campaign restarts before I get back.

Khere |

I'm still here y'all. Work has just been real busy lately so I apologize for not posting.

GM Redelia |

GM gift items for the new players:
Morharis gets a cracked indigo ioun stone (this is a custom item, and give +2 to any one skill of your choice, may be changed daily)(I am intending this to be used to up your trapfinding and disable device)
Jeggare gets an amulet of solid hits. It can be activated twice a day, and when activated bypasses up to 5 points of DR for 1 minute.
Hajar, I'm having trouble understanding your character's party role well enough to know what kind of item would help you. My thought is another amulet of solid hits, if you are a martial character without an existing way through DR.
Everyone else, your wands are recharged.

GM Redelia |

I've looked over Path of War, and at least know the basics, so I think we're almost ready to start back up as soon as we get the bonus items taken care of. I may need you to explain what you're doing the first few times, but we'll work through it. Please make sure that your current stance is in your status bar when we start.

Hajar nar Jundi; Osiris' Chosen |

Hajar is meant to take up the Party role of ranged martial with a little flair. While his weaponry can handle Magic, Bludgeoning, Slashing and Piercing DR I don't see more than that happening. Anything you give him would be fine enough.
He is effectively a Ranged character that can take punishment if need be.

Hajar nar Jundi; Osiris' Chosen |

Osiris be Praised.I can make a melee weapon Holy and Ammo Good or Lawful.
I humbly thank you.

Khere |

Hooray! Another aasimar joins the party!

Hajar nar Jundi; Osiris' Chosen |

I am not so blessed as you my dear brother but sure enough we are spiritual kin in one way.

Khere |

Oh? You do realize that Khere used to be a tomb robber before becoming a paladin of Anubis right? ;)
But still it is good to have another aasimar in the group/

Hajar nar Jundi; Osiris' Chosen |

Hajar has failed his allies twice in two lives, he has much along the path of redemption to travel before his form can be blessed once more with happiness.

Morharis Neptamu |

What a perfect start to a character. In my defense, this seems like a decent way of getting around the problem!
Option B is to chuck my potion of light wounds at whatever haunt energies are gathering but thats not exactly raw.

GM adjudication: Can I use Enduring Crane Strike to attack the Haunt?
Text: Making his soul a wellspring of holy power, the disciple strikes out at a foe to unleashed his holy power to restore health to himself or an ally. The initiator makes an attack against a target creature, inflicting damage as normal, and the strike restores 1d6 hit points plus his initiation modifier to the initiator or to an ally within 30-ft.
