Hissing with sudden rage Yelek quickly follows Pavo, sees the undead menace and raises his sword and cuts through the air in a powerful arc meant to sever the offending creature's head from its shoulders...

Power Attack roll: 1d20 + 8 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (9) + 8 + 1 - 1 = 17 -> Damage roll: 2d6 + 9 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 9 + 3 = 16

Move near Pavo and attack. Used Rage and the destined bloodline power

I feel cheesy doing this but Yelek had the movement (and to spare... he has a land speed of 40ft) and wanted to attack the creature assaulting Pavo, so he would just have moved past him and attacked. I can reroll my attack and damage roll if you want

Regardless of what the rest of you do in combat, it's AoO misses and Yelek's strike would kill it outright so...

A pile of gold, silver, and copper lay in the center of the room. Strips of leather with teeth marks scatter across the floor, while the orb and horn John spoke of sit atop the pile.

You manage to climb back out of the tomb without too much trouble. The tendrils previously found in the hole, now hang limp and lifeless. The bodies of the Kuru remain where you last saw them.

Once you climb aboard Benarry's foling boat, sitting where you left it, the magic kicks back into high gear and speeds you out to sea.

Ordering the crew to return to Drenchport, you have a couple days to rest before your next mission.

Pavo stands with a look of surprise frozen on his face while his comrades do battle around him. Eventually, well after the ghoul was dispatched by Yelek's great blade, his is able to move again.

Re-roll Disease Save: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 7 + 1 = 21

John would appreciate any assistance possible on his next day fort save (any willing player can attempt a heal check, if you beat the DC of the disease I get a +4).
