Chip offers everyone a nut, even the goblins. For the gorillas, he offers some fruit.
2d4+6 HP healing, can only use once every 10 minutes. It takes one action for him to summon it, so there is no problem giving everyone some healing.
They surrendered, no reason not to heal the captives as well.

The big floaty brain descends gently to the docks and moves over to stand float alongside the others. "You will note that we took pains not to kill you in this fight - a concession you did not make toward us in return," they speak aloud as they use spindly arms to tug the fan bolt out of their butt. Third looks at it closely as a article of interest before dropping it to the ground. "And now again, my friends are asking nicely. Let us all hope that they do not ask me to resort to harsher and more mentally intrusive methods of interrogation."
To illustrate the point, Third turns in the air to target a rat running across the deck. The turning isn't strictly necessary, but it helps simpler minds understand what's happening. With a non-lethal mind blast, the rat slumps to the ground. Third returns their attention to the group of pirates while assuring Irina over a private telepathic channel that the rat is merely asleep.
Intimidation: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
I suppose it could be Deception, but Third's not Trained in Deception, and they could absolutely use Fear and Daze. So we'll be Bad Cop.

I'm surprised Irina didn't give Third a piece of her mind :)
The gorilla's eyes light up as Irina starts talking (or oooking) to them.
"Oook-ook-oooook-oook-oook!"
In fact, once they start talking, they don't stop and give info freely. One of the pirates speaks up "We're the crew of the Clawhold, the finest pirate vessel to ever sail the sea! If you talk to our captain, you can tell her that we're being treated well. She'll demand proof. Tell her that her favorite gorilla is the new baby we named Flotsam. We can't feed him enough muskmelons! Nobody but crew knows that!"
"What else do you wanna know?"
Chipped Tooth
|
“Muskmelon?” Chip says with a curious look on his face.
He goes over to one of the gorillas and creates a muskmelon for it. As he is giving the muskmelon to the gorilla, he says “We will need a description of this captain, and his name.”
GM Tiger
|
"His?!" the goblin says indignantly. "Our captain is Lady Longboat herself! Captain Conziva!" The pirate swells with pride, "She welcomes all kinds. Monsters. Goblins. Fish folk. Why, she would even take you, I think." The pirate gazes meaningfully at the most unusual PCs. "Heck, she even let us keep the gorillas. Best Captain on the sea, she is!"
The pirate gesture vaguely at the Shipyard district all around them, where the sounds of distant pirate combat can still be heard. "She's somewhere around here. Our Lady Longboat leads from the front."
Chipped Tooth
|
Did they mean me or Third with that?
Chip is briefly puzzled by something, looking around the group. Then he evidently dismisses the thought and says “So could we get a description of her? This is a shipyard, there are a lot of captains here! We even have one ourselves.” He gestures towards Captain Kortos.
Maybe it was Captain Kortos they meant? Nah, she isn’t that unusual.
Thandar's Third Theorem

Even someone as unusual - at least on this planet - as me, I wonder? Perhaps we shall see when we meet her.

"We're here to cause mayhem in the shipyard. They paid us to hassle Andoran's sea trade, but then the Captain had the thought, ‘what would be a bigger hassle than this place losing all their shiny new ships?'"
When asked for a description, the pirates seem at a loss. "She has horns..." was all one of them can say...
Ebren Windbrook
|
Shiny new ships... hrm. Did you talk with sales before you started the mayhem? You might've started at the wrong docks.
Internally Ebren is amused at the pirate's perception of their targets.
Oni, no. I suspect a demonic or internal nephilim.
What does she look like?

"Well, she's a longshanks like you. She's got horns, but not as big as that." the pirate points to Captain Kortos. "Lady Longboat is smaller than the horse-lady. But bigger than the mouse-thing (referring to Chip)"
Thandar's Third Theorem
|
"A humanoid, of medium stature, with horns. There are many possibilities, but playing a guessing game is needless when we can just go find her. If there is nothing further to be learned here," Third pauses with a pointed look to the captives before continuing, "then let us move on and locate Captain Conziva."
Captain Kortos

"Wait, wait, wait!" Captain Kortos is so agitated that she paces back and forth over the dock area, trying to settle her thoughts. "You said 'they paid us'. Alright, who is 'they?' Who paid you?"

Schek Nek rolls his eyes and brandishes his weapon at the pirate.
"Oh, come on! Enough talking. Point us toward the longshanks with the small horns! She'll pay for the damages here."

The pirate snorts, as if the question was beneath them. "Who else? Cheliax! The first time they came 'round, the Captain told them to go to Hell. And after what they did to her, who can blame her? But then they promised to give us all a home and to let her see her family, so she had to do it."

You continue to interrogate the pirates but suddenly you hear more intruders coming in.
In the aftermath of the fight, tools and lumber are scattered everywhere, and for a few minutes, the shipyard is quiet enough that the most prominent sound is the crash of waves against Augustana's rocky shore. Then in the distance, pirates can be heard shouting to one another.
"Where's that shipwright? He's got to be worth a fat ransom!" a woman's voice calls. "And wasn't he with customers earlier? Let's collect them and pick them clean! Yarr!"
Nairaba ducks down behind a dropped crate. "This spot's too open and hard to secure," he says softly, lowering his voice to avoid attracting pirate attention.
Olad nods and turns to Nairaba and Kitsch with a determined look in his eye. "With all these pirates about, there's not a safer place in the city than the Arsenal District. With all the naval officers and bankers who've settled there, security is good. I've got a house large enough to put us all up, if you can get us there."
"Sounds good to me," Kitsch says as she pulls a clockwork bird out of her spacious pouch. She winds it up and sends the bird flying off with a handwritten note. "Now Brackett will know where to find us."

As she yells, she draws the attention of a loud and raucous crowd of pirates that had been scattered throughout the extended dock area. The pirates roar, preparing to swarm the shipyard once again.
"We're in a shipyard!" Olad shouts. "There's ample lumber, sailcloth and rope. Help me build barriers to slow them down!"
