Seeing how the others are faring, Tere sidesteps and looks for patterns in the movement of the rune swarm, reaching out with his tools at appropriate points. But probably not appropriate enough, with that roll.

As the group continues to press on, Wraith punches a few more runes, snuffing them out.
Confused by the fluttering sigils, Shredder snaps wildly at them while Alaric rushes forward and gives them a solid smack.
Kaya works on the swarm, trying to recall the most commonly used words. Sadly, she just misses the linguistic stresses of the strange tongue.
Tere works with his tools and manages to get most of the remaining magical wards to shut off, though a few remain.
Gwendolyn easily shakes off the magical wards clawing at her body, but can't quite get the pattern figured out. Retreating for a better view, she tells her companions to clear out, so Hera and try her trick.
Attempting to put out the last bit of emanating magic, Capone reaches forward and touches a few of the sigils. Alas, his hand slips and he hits one out of sequence.
The magical beast shimmers towards Alaric, encompassing Tere and Alaric. The magical runes continue to flutter around and over Shredder, stinging as they go.

Prior to starting combat Aid Token Heal: 1d6 ⇒ 6 All Full HP
Gwendolyn does her best to cause some major confusion on the battlefield.
Meanwhile, the ninja slips forward, waiting to see how the technological entities react to the situation.
Stepping forward, Kaya takes action. Aiming at the closest opponent, she fires a solid shot into the creature. A dent appears in its side.
The whirring and clicking within the beasts increases suddenly as the battle begins. The one struck by Kaya begins to reshape; the dent reducing in size. Turning towards the woman, it closes the distance slightly before launching a net from it's right shoulder mount.
The net landing on the woman, it turns to look at Wraith.
Whirring frantically, the remaining two clockwork creatures move towards their injured companions and attempt to get them back in the fight.
A net is used to entangle enemies. When you throw a net, you make a ranged touch attack against your target. A net's maximum range is 10 feet. If you hit, the target is entangled. An entangled creature takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity, can move at only half speed, and cannot charge or run. If you control the trailing rope by succeeding at an opposed Strength check while holding it, the entangled creature can move only within the limits that the rope allows. If the entangled creature attempts to cast a spell, it must succeed at a concentration check with a DC of 15 + the spell's level or be unable to cast the spell.
An entangled creature can escape with a successful DC 20 Escape Artist check (a full-round action). The net has 5 hit points and can be burst with a successful DC 25 Strength check (also a full-round action).

The blessed priest moves forward and bonks Wraith on the head with his phallic item. The wounds dissipate around the ninja, revitalizing him fully.
Our dynamic duo lash out against the two foes. Though Alaric fears he may hit his friendly neighborhood Tere and hesitates just a moment, the beast again finds a mouth full of copper greeting it. Shredder, living up to his name, indeed shreds a portion of the things arm as well.
Gwendolyn manages to locate a previous unnoticed lever. Giving it a solid pull, the world seems to conveniently drop out from beneath the two combatants.
