Shredder lashes out and fells the blue painted beast with his first claw. Turning towards red, he continues slashing and biting; maintaining his momentum. Alaric points at the floating molten ball and directs it towards the remaining foe.
Gwendolyn summons up a crackling energy to cover her companion. Suddenly the crackling blue bolt shoots forward, slamming into the opponent. *KARACK* Rings out at the electricity surges into the thing. The light shimmers through it's circuits, melting the wiring.
Fortunately for the owl, the programming didn't anticipate such a small beast attack and it flails harmlessly at the feathered companion.

Cautiously approaching the room, Alaric and Shredder clearly see three frightened animals scattered about the room.

Gwen turns to Alaric. "Um, why is your weird lizard-thing savaging that sleeping dog? Aren't you supposed to let them lie? I mean I'd like to think that those scrolls were worth something. It isn't like there's not rope somewhere in this party."
Um, Mr. GM I think you (and Alaric) may have both got your dog colors mixed up what with all the rainbows flying about. This might force Gwen to restate the above to: "Alaric, why are you waking up that dog we put to sleep with your big knife." or more simply as: "Alaric, What in the Nine Hells do you think you are doing?" as is ultimately appropriate for the ultimate outcome.
For the record (not that it probably matters much at this point) it looked to me as the round began: Blue was asleep thanks to scroll work; Gwen color sprayed Blue (already asleep) and Orange; Capone feared Red; and Shredder shredded Red. Since one of the two hounds Gwen hit was already asleep (possibly sleep walking), it looks like they both missed save and 'collapsed'. Because of that I'm not really sure who Alaric attacked--Red didn't have to make a save vs color spray so that's an option. Alaric says sleepy Blue is the target if 'both do' but in text that's a bit ambiguous too (both 'do' make their save, or is it 'do not' make their save).

Seeing the dogs have been subdued, you turn back towards the entrance. Eerie light seems to dart between the objects while the din of a raging battle echoes throughout the chamber. The central feature is a low, artificial hill atop which stand two stuffed owlbears surrounded by shattered undead foes. Each of the beasts wears chainmail barding and an orange-and-black caparison depicting a stylized owlbear. A dead man dressed in furs lies on the floor before a suit of full-plate armor. Two banners seem to flitter about on their own power.

***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***
After a loud crack and a ripple of arcane energy, silence falls across the museum as the construct guards freeze in place and haunted relics drop to the ground. Nigel’s voice rings out, magically projected throughout the museum: “We’ve disabled the magical security measures. Since we haven’t found the thieves yet, they must be hiding in my third-story study. Please subdue them; they have much to answer for!”
Nigel Aldain’s announcement echoes through a museum littered with shattered clockwork and toppled exhibits. There’s no question that the Pathfinders have quelled the building’s defenses, and perhaps the peaceful silence will set whoever hides on the third floor at ease.
@Table GMs: You have until May 20 to run Part C on page 14. The “Peace in the Museum” condition on page 16 is in effect.

For an 'Minute per Level' spells, count a minute of travel time off. Any 'Round Per Level' spells would expire by the time you get to the third floor.
Hustling up the stairs to the second level, where you say the clockworks, you rush across the room to another set of stairs and make your way up those as well. You quickly find yourselves in what you can only assume is Nigel's study.
The mahogany walls and domed, plaster ceiling both show signs of heavy damage. Most of the luxurious furniture and the crystal chandelier are intact. The contents of cabinets and bookcases lie strewn about the floor. A small wooden panel near the door hangs open, revealing an arcane sigil covered in scorch marks.
A Kellid woman dressed in furs with intricate scars all over her body steps forward. She holds a hand up and says, “Stay back. We are members of the Twinhorn following, and we have only come to retrieve what was stolen from us.”
A towering figure steps forward; his translucent red form is that of a man clad in heavy armor and wielding twin warhammers. “Medda, they must be in league with the thieves; they should die for crossing us.” The man’s voice sounds hollow and unnaturally loud, and as he speaks, the chandelier glows with a dull light.
The woman, Medda, puts a hand on the figure’s arm and says, “Maybe we should give them a chance to explain themselves, Anok.” Turning back to your group, she inquires "So, what have you to say for yourselves? Why shouldn't we strike you down as thieves?"

At this point, assuming none of you attack them, they won't attack you. Your diplomacy is plenty high enough. Remember for buff purposes, this takes a minimum of 10 rounds (1 minute). RAW, I believe Hera can hold onto that charge until she uses it on something, so just keep it in mind.
As for Knowledge rolls, there are none listed here. You're roll wouldn't be high enough for a history lesson, but I'll give you a little local on it.
The Twinhorn Following is a tribe from the north. They claim to protect the plane from some ancient evil of some long ago time.
With a smile, she replies. "I'll answer your second one first. I don't know what reputation you have young lady, but I suspect it precedes you."
"As for the 'Twinhorn following', we are from the northern lands - the Realm of the Mammoth Lords to you southerners. Our following, or tribe, has been searching for our stolen heritage for months."
"I must admit, this office is quite elaborate, though I'm not sure how or why one would need such a setup..."
@Tere
"These Blakros people stole our most precious heirloom." she answers, retriving a bundle of bloody nabdages. She proceeds to unwrap the bundle, revealing a dagger hilt with only the fragment of a black blade. "It belonged to Ivvora, a champion of Vildeis who vanguished the gtreat black evil from our land over 900 years ago. We kept it safe until the Blakros agents stole it three months ago."
Depending on your questions, they may be able to answer a few more things. With time constraints in mind, I'll give you another day to ask questions.

"As a librarian, from my perspective the curator of this museum can't be held responsible for everything lying within. Certainly another has procured the heirloom in his stead."

Anok responds, “They came into our camp asking about Ivvora. Medda gave them shelter and told Ivvora’s story, but we would not part with the hilt. The next morning the hilt and the Blakros agents were gone. We tracked it here, to this building. The math, as they say, adds up.” Pausing as she watches the small woman meander aimlessly about the room...
The shadowy figure turns to Alaric and growls "I'm a phantom. I am Anok, and I protect the guardian of Ivvora's hilt, Medda!"
Shaking her head, she adds “The hilt is bound to me.” She grasps the hilt tightly, then her eyes begin to glow with a brilliant white light as her scars begin to seep thin rivulets of blood. “Does that answer your question?”

The elf gives a quick half-grin. "He has, ah, extenuating circumstances. Meaning, he's in with the Blakros family. But who's your 'they?' If Nigel bought it from someone who lied to him about where it came from, maybe he's not the thief. If he gives it back, will you leave the matter there?"
