Player Name: Zin Z'arin (Rob Riemersma)
Character Name: Mun of Ashava
PFS #: 192785-1
Faction: Silver Crusade
Day job: If Mun doesn't check off a faction goal in-game, he has options that forego downtime. He will roll a day job at the end if he doesn't need to use one of those options.
Mun just finished up an Outpost game, but hasn't received his chronicle yet. I don't expect to have a delay from that, however; he should be ready on time.

Lilianna will be level 4.0 when we start and has played version A.
Player Name: Gummy Bear
Character Name: Lilianna Thraller
PFS #: 74244-5
Faction: Scarab Sages
Day job: None
Lilianna is a cleric of Sarenrae that has dedicated her life to cleansing Golarion of undead. If there are no undead present, she does her best to buff. If undead are around, she has a strong channel and some spells to attack them.
GM, are you looking for anything specific?
EDIT: If undead are expected, Lilianna carries around an exorcism kit that counts as an altar for the purposes of a consecrate spell. This reduces her move speed to 20ft.

Player Name: TheSuperDodo
Character Name: Enrique Karpadi
PFS#: 221942-9
Faction: Dark Archives
Enrique is level 3.0. As for special abilities, Enrique is a Fiend Keeper medium, so you might want to familiarize yourself with the rules for those, though I doubt he'll have reason/time for any spirit other than Champion to show up.

A mastermind can use inspiration on any Diplomacy and Intimidate checks without expending a use of inspiration, but can't do so for Linguistics or Spellcraft checks.
The investigator can use inspiration on any Knowledge, Linguistics, or Spellcraft skill checks without expending a use of inspiration, provided he’s trained in the skill.
Has played Soltice Scar A.

Player Name: Patrick
Character Name: GrubGlub
PFS#: 95823-14
Faction: Liberty's Edge
Day Job: None
GrubGlub is a Grippli monk that tries to focus on movement and battlefield control through trips and CMB's. He has a 9 section whip and a net that he uses to trip, distract, or flurry as well as a 1/day poison that he can emit once/day.

![]() |

Player Name: Luthor Volandis
Character Name: Iovarl Volarin
PFS #: 9249-17
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day job: None. Though one day he'll use Knowledge Nobility for dayjob checks thanks to a chronicle boon. :)
Iovarl is an Arcanist who specialises in summoning thanks to the Occultist archetype - he can summon as a standard action and summons last minutes rather than rounds.
Iovarl is a youngish minor noble from Nerosyan in Mendev, and thanks to his missions he's an officially recognised Taldan Noble. He's a devout follower of Iomedae and a diplomat.
He played Solstice Scar A with a couple of the other characters above. I also ran Solstice Scar B at a local convention not too long back, though he GMing credit went to another character so i could enjoy playing version B with this character again. Due to this I'll try to leave decision making to the other players where possible.

![]() |

I forgot to add. Iovarl is level 4 now - he's been played in some local lodge games since his last outing in PbP.

GM Redelia |

Looks like everyone is checked in, and also everyone is in tier.
Iovarl, to keep things running smoothly, please provide me with easy access to a stat block for everything you summon. You can either put spoilers in your profile for one or two things you summon often, or just post a link to a published stat block (D20PFSRD is OK, even though it's not official).

2 people marked this as a favorite. |

There's a super handy website that i use called Summoner's Scribe - it's really handy as you can tell it to apply Augment Summoning Feat as needed.
I'm be generating a new summon list this evening when i update the character, so i'll put the list in my dropbox and link it on my Iovarl's profile. I'll also make sure to post a spoiler for the creature statblock any time i summon for ease of reference.

Oooooh, I think my occultist is going to love this website! Thanks for sharing!

I try to share that website when i play this character as it's really handy :)

This is too useful.
Would you mind if I share it out to my table face to face gamers as well?

I found it purely by chance and it's really handy - share away, i'm sure the website creator will like the extra traffic.

Mun's Outpost game is done, and the Chronicle is applied. He's making the following purchases that will be recorded on the Solstice Scar B chronicle:
wand of disguise self (5 charges, 75 gp) 3-00 In Service to Lore
wand of burning hands (CL 3rd, 4 charges, 180 gp) 5-08 The Confirmation
haunt siphon (400 gp) 7-05 School of Spirits
+1 flaming arrows (2x 166 gp = 332 gp) 8-07 From the Tome of Righteous Repose
Whetstone (2 cp)

![]() |

WE'll have to make sure to use it well then. Thanks Granta :)

![]() |

What has been everyone's experience with aid tokens? Whenever I've played or run A, it was always boosted and sent away to a higher table (after we remembered we even had it).

![]() |

I think that's our best approach, especially early on in the scenario like this.
Redalia, can we get a refresher on the boosts for the aid token so that we can figure out which is the best boost to apply?

![]() |

Always Boosted and sent away within the round of receiving it.
No point hoarding it if it's not being used.

GM Redelia |

Allied Offensive: A Pathfinder agent strikes a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack. In addition, after the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn. To Boost: Succeed at
an attack roll.
Burst of Healing: A Pathfinder agent heals all of the
PCs. To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor with a spell level greater than or equal to your APL/2, rounded down. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll.
Timely Inspiration: A Pathfinder agent provides the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance for 3 rounds. To Boost: Expend 3 rounds of bardic performance or similar ability. Boosted Effect: Increase the competence bonus by 1.
Provide Knowledge (Must Be boosted): Gain the benefits of a Knowledge skill check or Spellcraft skill check used to identify a magical item. To Boost: Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice.
Provide Spellcasting (Must Be Boosted): Gain the benefits of a beneficial spell cast by an ally as listed on the Aid Token. To Boost: Cast one of the following spells and note your PC’s name and caster level on the Aid Token: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease. Only these spells may be granted. Expending resources that produce the effects of these spells, such as a paladin’s mercy class feature, may also grant these benefits.
You may think about what you want to do, but the actual check/casting may not happen until we officially start.

GM Redelia |

Hey, guys, I have a small request for you. Can you please not put your rolls in a spoiler, unless they are contingent on something else?
Two examples of what I like to see:
Sara swings her sword at the monster.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
"Take that, you pest," she says.
Sara readies to swing her sword at the monster if it comes close.
attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
spoilers are also OK if you are wanting only some people to read, but please don't hide basic mechanics behind them. It makes them too hard to read.

This dwarf offers a toast in acknowledgement.

![]() |

Sure thing! I do it out of habit and will do my best to remember.

![]() |

I will do my best. My default post format is to spoiler the bulk of the mechanics of my actions. I will try to avoid doing that during this game, but it's a very deeply ingrained habit now; please forgive me if I forget. Thanks!

GM Redelia |

Don't worry, guys, I'm not going to get grumpy if you occasionally forget, I'm just asking you to try to remember. I know that some GMs actually request the other way.
I use spoilers for things like a bunch of initiative rolls, and those you should feel free to open if curious. I also use them to provide the results of checks, in which case you are free to open them if you pass the check.

Mun can perform the Spellcraft boost for Provide Knowledge:
Spellcraft, elven lore: 1d20 + 9 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 9 + 2 = 18
I prefer to send the boosts down, but otherwise have no preference.

![]() |

Boost and send away if we're not using it.

![]() |

Let's keep it moving. I'm happy to go with Mun's suggestion.

![]() |

Yep, Lilianna, you're supposed to pretend this hasn't happened before. Awkward, I know.
Interesting. In my CORE runthrough during Outpost, we were actually told that we could roleplay the memory. I was running a paladin of Iomedae, and played it like Iomedae had sent her a vision to prepare her for what she had to do this time around.

![]() |

GM Redalia, with the Torchbearing bonus, Mun can't fail at a Handle Animal check to "handle" Selune (including the +2 to the DC if Selune is injured). With your permission, I'll only make rolls if Mun needs to "push" Selune (i.e. ask her to perform a trick she's not trained in); does that sound good?

GM Redelia |

Hey everyone,
For a special like this, I really do need everyone to post at least once in every 24 hours. More often is better. Failing to do so means that we can't get our share of the success conditions met, which can make everything harder for the other tables.

I'll be traveling today, so I'm going to post contingent actions here just in case!
If someone is using a two-handed weapon (or is an obvious frontliner), I'll cast Bless Weapon on them. Our Paladin can smite, so I'm not worried about his ability to damage. If there isn't a clear damage dealer to use this on and if I can target Selune, I will cast it on her.
If that is confusing, I just cast bless from my wand!

![]() |

Lets fire it on again. I can't see us using it against a few shambling corpses.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18

![]() |

Agreed. Just enlarge and buff the paladin The Inheritor protects... lol

![]() |

Boost and send!
