Some rolls, Zaratina. Did you piss of the dicebot or something? That's a 3rd 1 in a row. Someone's lucky I don't do critical fails.

Noranti's healing is appreciated by Janira with a nod and a "Thank you..."

Then she notices the undead Noranti pointed out, her eyes widen, and jaw drops.

"I suppose we can talk about THAT later. For now, let's stay adamant, Pathfinders! Let's rally and cast this beast out!"

Inspire Courage - +1 morale bonus on saves vs charm and fear / +1 competence bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. Lasts for 3 turns.

The minotaur gives his horns another chance to get acquanted with the undead in front of him.

Horns, Gore, Power Attack: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 9 - 2 = 91d6 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 4 = 7

But it seems that the zombie is somehow more agile.

The minotaur draws the spear stored on his back.

The zombie (Let's call him Jhoony) obeys Evariel's command and takes a swing at the minotaur...

Slam: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 181d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

... Jhoony strikes and the minotaur huffs in pain again.

Turn 3+4

Noranti - 4
Carlotta - 4
Evariel - 4
Zaratina - 4
Minotaur
Vorden + Heyyou! - 3
Janira
Jean-Robur - 3

"Yes, we can talk later", Noranti responds to Janira. "Now, about that minotaur. Maybe it'll be less grumpy after a nap."

The old elf moves 5 ft closer to the beast and begins casting Sleep.

DC 16 when it kicks in at the start of my next turn, assuming it's 4 HD or less.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1 | AC 10 T 10 FF 10 | HP 10/10 | F +2 R +0 W +1 | Init +0

Vorden and the eidolon cross the bridge. Vorden stops quickly and casts a spell.

Acrobatics (Vorden): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Acrobatics (Eidolon): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Eidolon double move. Vorden casts Grease under the minotaur. DC 16 Reflex.

Carlotta steps to her left a bit (on my phone, can someone move me west enough to not have to throw through the eidolon?), and sidearms one of the rocks towards the minotaur, hoping to strike it in a soft spot.

Thrown Stone, Magic, Inspired, Range: 1d20 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 1 - 2 = 5

Vorden and his companion briskly walk over the log and end up closer to the semi-bovine beast. Vorden does a few quick gestures and...

Reflex vs 16: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

... the minotaur decides to spend a short moment observing the green foliage. Ground-to-face.

Zaratina crosses the slippery log as she reaches over her shoulder to draw another javelin. Hopping onto the bank next to the Vorden, she throws her javelin at the fallen minotaur.

Actions:
Move: Cross log, move 30 ft (10 ft log + 10 ft land) and draw javelin
Standard: Throw javelin at minotaur

Dice:
1d20 - 2 ⇒ (9) - 2 = 7
Javelin, PBS, IC: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 25 vs. FF AC + prone AC bonus
Damage, PBS, IC: 1d6 + 6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 1 + 1 = 12

The streak of 1s actually continued into more PbP rolls. I must have insulted the dicebot.

Actually, ranged attacks against prone targets is a penalty, as opposed to melee attacks. Still hits, though.

That's what I meant: vs. Minotaur's bonus.

Crap. Was trying to cross the bridge-- what's the DC for that?

6 is not enough.

Evariel slips on the mossy bark, and ...

A reflex save, if you will.

Someone in this party enjoys swimming a LOT!

Male Human cleric (asmodean advocate) of Asmodeus 1 | hp: 13/13 | AC/T/F 16/10/16 | CMB +0; CMD 10 | Fort +4, Ref +0, Will +6 | Init: +0 | Speed 20 ft | Perception +9, Bluff +14, Diplomacy +16, Disguise +2, Intimidate +7, Sense Motive +8

Seeing Evariel deciding to take a swim and get a nice clean shower it made him halt in his footsteps to step over the woodlog. He gave a tap to Zaratina on the shoulder and grinned. "Asmodeus will guide your hand in combat..."

Guidance on Zaratina

Evariel slips ont he log and falls into the water. The rushing water immediately starts to force him downstream. (30 ft/s; Swim check to get out - DC 15)

Noranti casts a spell aimed at the minotaur, but it does nothing, interestingly. (The HD is higher than 4, unfortunately.)

The minotaur decides to stand up, but Jhoony clearly doesn't like that idea.

Slam: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 201d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

As he is hit by Jhoony, the minotaur starts moving through the entangled area, away from you. He shouts something as he does this.

Giant:
"You win this time..."

Janira pulls out and starts aiming her crossbow, but reconsiders after hearing the minotaur speak.

"It's giving up!", she screams gleefully. Tired, but satisfied with the outcome.

Turn 4+5 - go if bolded

Seeing the minotaur run off and Evariel still taking a nice swim in the river he shook his head. "Let the minotaur go, let's rescue our swimming companion before he vanishes and never returns."

Will give another guidance if someone is going to head after our swimming companion for a better rescue attempt :D

Zaratina looks over her should as she hears a splash. Again!? Doesn't anyone else practice dungeon challenges?

She notes that the minotaur is well cowed by the corpse-puppet and is reassured by Janira's confirmation. Ha! Two in one sentence. "I've got him!"

The warrior-woman unfastened the wooden shield on her arm and hurries after Evariel. One hundred years old, can make dead bones dance, and he can't even walk across a log fatter than he is.

Actions:
Move:Remove shield (reducing ACP to -2 and my Swim Take 10 increases to 16)
Move: Move of 30 ft to follow Evariel along the shore

It'll take me another round to finish the rescue unless he pulls off a Swim check. Next round move 30 ft, then dive in to intercept Evariel (taking 10 for 16)

Lol!

Swim: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5

Zombie could help, but it'd never get here in time. Evariel is swiftly carried downstream with the current. "Stupid... slippery... log... Help!"

Vorden watches the minotaur retreat. He says to his eidolon, "You there! Go and help our companion attempting to swim."

Eidolon Grapple Attack or some other check?: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

How deep is the water?

"I can summon one more servitor today. Maybe a dolphin to block him from being carried to far downstream. Or a pony, if it's shallow enough for such a creature to stand."

Around 2 feet deep. As for grapple, I believe that should be an auto-success, since Evariel will likely to be actively trying to get grappled by it. Or, not resist, rather.

"I'll dive in after him if need be," Carlotta offers, dismissing the entangle with a quick command in Druidic. "But it looks like you've got him?" She nods to the eidolon.
