Davros Al-Assadsarenrani |

Davros looks to Aodan to see if he objects.
"Yes, shall we with the continuing to the farmer? I am most interested in finishing up this business so that we may take a moment to see what else needs be done here."
I can't believe that I am saying this, but I think I actually want to stay and find out what in all the god's names is happening here in the bucolic village. This Hunclay fellow is not all that he seems...

Returning to the sheep farm on the edge of town Prake Abrassus is pleased to see you. "Yall did it!" He calls out as you approach him on his porch. "Thing is bigger up close too." He stands up and heads inside calling out as he goes "Let me get your reward money." He comes back with a good sized pouch of coins. "Yall did me a huge favor and I won't go forgettin bout it neither. Feel free ta stop by any time you like."
Are you going to just drop stuff off in your rooms or sell things? Let me know and we can work that out.
Heading back into the manor you still find the Shae waiting behind the wall of light. A quick scattering of the dust instantly extinguishes the light allowing the Shae to step out of her cell. "Thank you for setting me free, as promised I am at your service if you need me." She walks back into the main chamber where the armor and swords were resting and starts to re-equip herself. "You wouldn't happen to have seen my other blades have you? There should have been a scimitar and a short sword with my armor."

The contract stipulated the group present here minus the creature known as a Shae to be the signing party. This party was to eliminate from all hazarding the estate, or document such. Moreover, the party was to refrain from taking any possession of the late Hunclay from the estate. The weapons and armour of this creature neither appear to be possessions of Hunclay, nor do will they be taken off-site by us, leaving little argument as to whether the contract puts any limitation on the Shae re-procuring its effects.
It would, however, be opposed to removing anything beyond this scope, as this would hurt the operations of my client.
That being said, I can't remember having seen them.
He could've just said 'no', i guess

Zilchus Lyghtlode |

I think we're dropping stuff off and/or selling stuff before we go back into the manor so we're not accused of stealing from within.
Zilchus tries to remember where the weapons might be.
"Oh yeah! Darkrose, don't you have them?" Zilch remembers. "I hate to see anyone locked up and doubly so if they are robbed. That ain't right."
Zilch looks at Davros expectantly.
We should have the short sword as well to return. If Zilch has it, he returns it.

Davros sighs and reluctantly unties the outsider's scimitar from his belt and hands it back to the Shae. "Eet is truly a magnificent blade and if eet is yours than well, eet it yours. May Desna guide your path. ...and guide me to find a proper blade in this 'backwater country village. The Qadiran offers a bow after returning the blade.
Yeah dropping off and selling sound good to me.

Maffie the Shae |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Maffie takes her blades back "Thank you, and while these blades are mine, they are now at your service. I shall accompany you and strike down those that oppose you."
Just let me know what you wish to sell or buy. There is still a lot of town that has not yet been explored. There is also the matter of collecting your reward from the baroness.

Should our next business interest be as dangerous as the previous one, a pair of extra hands, however ethereal, may prove to be an income-generating sub-operation. I believe the cost-benefit analysis turn out positive.

Zilchus Lyghtlode |

Zilch shrugs, but he has no real objections.
"Okay, sure," Zilch concedes and explains. "I just want you to follow me because you want to, not because you feel you have to. Just like Darkrose, I'm sure you'll be a loyal follower. While I'm not sure what heroic deeds I'll do next, I hope you'll be along to watch me do them."
With the shae dealt with, we can happily cash out with the Lady and monetize things, yes? Looks like we're out of quests, but have more rumors to follow up upon.

You are greeted at the door and lead to a sitting chamber where the Baroness is waiting for you. "Ahh it looks like you all made it back, you continue to surprise me. As promised here is your reward." She gestures to one of the servants who brings over a large sack of coins. "5000 gold as we agreed in the contract, you can count it if you like." She looks over a Eugene as if expecting the man to do just that. "It looks like things are settling down now that this Hunclay business is over, I'd like you all to stay for the auction as my guests. Since you have served me so well these past few days I'll double your bids at the auction from an account I'll set up with an additional 7,500 gold. She says with a smile, clearly pleased with the work you have done so far. "It may take some time to get everything in order so please make yourselves at home in town. It looks to be quite an event."
Going to put the game on hold for a bit. With Aodan bogged down and Davros dealing with some family issues. I will be open to some shopping and you can browse the auction list the campaign thread. If you feel like doing some RP with the townsfolk I am also open to that as well.
