Return all the items is my vote.

Female Halfling Whipmistress 7 (AC: 23[T: 12FF: 22] | HP: 59/59(0NL) | F+8*, R+5*, W+8* | Init: +2 |Perc: +4)

Ok, Con and Int moved to 14. Gave me some hit points, skills, a language, and +1 on Fort save.

Male Elf Magus (Spell-Dancer) 2
Stats:
HP 17/17; AC 14/12/12; Init +2; Fort +4, Ref +2, Will +4 (+2 vs. Enchantment); Perception +3; Arcane Pool 4/4; Harrow Points 4; Concentration +5 (+9 on the defensive)

I'm not sure how much I like the fact that we might be having a possible outsider here. >_>

Also, I hope I'm not taking too much center stage with this, but Aerel's not sure how to communicate this to your characters yet. I imagine more things will become available as they get to know one another better.

Is there a reason Aerel is the only one that got the check? I am not bothered by it, I prefer things relying one one player at times, but I am curious. Assuming you do not mind explaining.

Perhaps because I specified that Aerel was looking around the store for other folks? I can't answer for Kamro, but it was something I did.

That makes a lot of sense. I totally forgot about that.

Yes, Aerel was specifically looking around for anyone. And he only really noticed such a blatant sign of what was up because he rolled a nat-20.

If he makes some sort of indication that something is up, everyone will get a check.

First of all, I'm impressed with anyone who uses "lousy with" in this sort of context. I use it, and many people don't know the phrase.

Secondly, are you sure there aren't any grymps as well?

... I've never seen that before. How amusing.

It's a shame there was no RPGSS competition this year!

I let that fall out of use since no one knows what it means. I love that you used that!

Now I'm tempted to put Grymps somewhere.

xD

Hey, they're neutral good. I'm sure nothing bad could possibly come of their existence. >_>

I love the Grymp! That little critter is going to be used in the game I run. Thank you for linking that Shaeda! That will be a fun critter the group will not be expecting.

Male Halfling Unchained Rogue (Roof Runner) 2 HP 17/17 | AC 19 T 16 FF 14 (+1 Dodge vs Medium and bigger)| Fort+2 Ref +8 Will+0 | Initiative +5 | Perception +0

I am actually really enjoying this shop scene, really helping me get used to the group and flesh out Jamir a bit more as a character. I hadn't thought of him being creeped out by dolls, but they may be the same size as him with cold eyes ... very creepy.

Also, that Grymp looks quite fun! I didn't know there were competitions like that on here!

Well, no RPGSS this year, but what was way cool, is that the first round magic items made it into modules, and then most became legal for PFS.

I need to get a PFS character to get a Bosun's Call.

Sorry about the lack of replies on my end. I have been kind of overwhelmed with RL nonsense lately. I should have a post up by tomorrow.

Games are not marking that games are getting posts, this is happening to lots of people. Currently Emma will just keep asking questions.

Yeah, just noticed that. D'oh!

Yeah, it's kind of irritating, but I'm hopeful that Paizo's goblin team of website folks will have it fixed sooner or later. xD

Female Halfling Whipmistress 7 (AC: 23[T: 12FF: 22] | HP: 59/59(0NL) | F+8*, R+5*, W+8* | Init: +2 |Perc: +4)

My biggest complaint about Paizo is their web services. Terrible uptime/downtime ratio. Terrible latency. And the bugs are horrible, like this one with the notifications.

Haha. Emma's on the other side of the shop and is still able to act faster than those of us who were supposedly prepared. xD

EDIT: Also, Kamro - not sure if you already have this in mind, but Jamir still lacks Harrow points, however (and whenever) you want to handle that.

Zellara can perform a Harrowing for him just as she did for the rest of the group, but he hasn't had the opportunity to meet her yet. As soon as you guys decide to introduce them, we can get him some points. Remember, she can use Major Image 1/day, which is concentration, so she can stick around as long as she needs to, but then needs to wait a day to do so again.

Right. Makes sense. I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of it, so we can do that at some point. xD

Harrow Points?

It's an optional system this AP has.

Once per chapter the group can do a special thing called a Harrowing and get some points that can be spent on different things. Each chapter in the AP is themed around a particular suit in the Harrow deck, which is itself associated with one of the 6 ability scores.

Effects of Harrow Points this chapter:

Dexterity Rerolls: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to
reroll an initiative check, Reflex save, attack roll modified
by Dexterity, or Dexterity-based check. The PC must abide
by the new result (although if he has additional Harrow
Points, he can use them for additional rerolls).

Dodge Bonus: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to gain a
+1 dodge bonus to his Armor Class for one encounter. He
can spend up to 3 Harrow Points per encounter to increase
his Armor Class in this manner.

Speed Increase: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to
increase his base speed by 10 feet for one encounter.

In Addition: The card you chose from Zellara has a special effect in a specific encounter during this chapter that will affect only you. I won't tell you what these are in advance, to avoid spoilers, but when the encounter starts I'll tell you what your extra bonus is.

How many harrow points do we have?

I believe that Aerel had 4, and the others had 3, if you haven't spent any. (I got lucky.)

Male Halfling Unchained Rogue (Roof Runner) 2 HP 17/17 | AC 19 T 16 FF 14 (+1 Dodge vs Medium and bigger)| Fort+2 Ref +8 Will+0 | Initiative +5 | Perception +0

They sound extremely useful!

Is the plan for this turn to do nothing until Emma's spell is complete?

Arele you could grab Emma's knife. She would not object.

Dissapearing Act is actually one of my bardic preformances

Hm... Good point. I still need to put away the wand or the sword.

Male Halfling Unchained Rogue (Roof Runner) 2 HP 17/17 | AC 19 T 16 FF 14 (+1 Dodge vs Medium and bigger)| Fort+2 Ref +8 Will+0 | Initiative +5 | Perception +0

Do you want me to move in and attack or try to see if we can entice it out of the room?

Male Halfling Unchained Rogue (Roof Runner) 2 HP 17/17 | AC 19 T 16 FF 14 (+1 Dodge vs Medium and bigger)| Fort+2 Ref +8 Will+0 | Initiative +5 | Perception +0

I can't wait for level 3, when my damage increases significantly!

Okay, I am still here. RL has been beating on me again. Hopefully I will get some more time management skills from it.

Female Halfling Whipmistress 7 (AC: 23[T: 12FF: 22] | HP: 59/59(0NL) | F+8*, R+5*, W+8* | Init: +2 |Perc: +4)

waiting for my turn

Aerel's up next, and unfortunately not invisible to the imp.

curses :(

Sorry about the delay. Like I said, busy life. o_o Should have something up later today.

Shaeda's up.

Emma's turn.

Sorry!

Male Halfling Unchained Rogue (Roof Runner) 2 HP 17/17 | AC 19 T 16 FF 14 (+1 Dodge vs Medium and bigger)| Fort+2 Ref +8 Will+0 | Initiative +5 | Perception +0

The RNG's are making this imp a God in it's own right!

No problem.

If it would help, in my other PbP game I stick a combat tracker in the bottom of my posts, and italicize the name of whoever has already gone this round and bold whoever is next. I could start doing that here if you like.

I am having some family drama / emergencies so please bot me if need be.

The family emergency turned into a death so please bot me if I am not posting. I will most likely go though bouts of frequent posting and then none at all for a while.

Female Halfling Whipmistress 7 (AC: 23[T: 12FF: 22] | HP: 59/59(0NL) | F+8*, R+5*, W+8* | Init: +2 |Perc: +4)

Very sorry for your loss Emma.

My deepest condolences. Please take all the time you need, I'll bot Emma, and you can just post or PM me when you want to take back over.

Aerel is up.

Male Halfling Unchained Rogue (Roof Runner) 2 HP 17/17 | AC 19 T 16 FF 14 (+1 Dodge vs Medium and bigger)| Fort+2 Ref +8 Will+0 | Initiative +5 | Perception +0

My condolences Emma.
