The response leaves Orcetta speechless. She shivers as she imagines the butchery the humans enact to create the 'furniture'. That pales in comparison to the shiver caused by the imagine of harvesting bodies for furniture. It doesn't quite work the other way around. She shrugs it off and peers down at her leshy for the remainder of the walk.

I'll poke the FB message group once more to get any other responses before continuing.

Raven stays very quiet during the walk to the site. She is trying her best to mask her fury at the state of the tomb. This space is her domain and someone, or something, had defiled it with their presence. She agreed with Orecetta that the living put too much stock in elaborate markings for the dead. It only made her head hurt to think of the possibilities squandered by those to who would keep the remains like trophies but shirk at the thought of rebirth.
She shakes her head to refocus on the matter at hand.

As they neared the cemetery, Orcetta seemed to perk up. "Well at least humans honor their dead with such beautiful flowers." She smiled as she spied some bouquets among the stones. She noticed a lack of response and looked at her somber or weary companions.

The sheriff sighs at the others silence, but accepts Raven's and Orcetta's words. "Very well, let's make our way in."

The Sheriff leads the way to the vault. The 20-foot stone structure stands near the wall of Sandpoint; the tomb's door is slightly ajar. The ground around the place is churned.

DC 13 Perception:

You can tell most of the prints are goblin, but there are some left by a larger person, human-sized.

DC 13 Survival:

There were eight goblins and a single Medium sized creature.

Opening the door to the vault, three skeletons begin to rise up. Before they can begin a vile attack, the party clobbers them!

This would be a combat, but 3 skeletons is paltry for a fully-rested party.

Defeating the skeletons and searching the crypt, two things are left. 1. A single black robe that bears only the faintest of magical auras.

DC 22 Spellcraft check:

This was a robe of bonues[/i], its necromatic powers fading after all of its pockets have been used.

2. The sarcophagus of the former Desnan priest, Father Ezakien Tobyn, is open and devoid of its resident.

"Bloody hell! Who would take Eza's body?!", Hemlock thoroughly confused as to the situation. He ponders for a moment and shakes his head. "Nope... nothing, can't think of a reason." He looks at the Heroes and pulls them in closer. "A word of this to no one, not right now anyway. I'll try to do some investigating, but the town has had enough distress for a bit and I'd like to have more answers before this gets out."

Before the Sheriff can open the door, Orcetta stops him. She kneels down and traces her fingers over the prints in the sand. The feykin whispers softly as she sees the figures moving around in her head, "Careful... goblins... 8... and... this is strange. A human. Possibly a captive? No.... not struggling."

When the sheriff pushes open the door, Orcetta wield her staff expertly to drop the unnatural things.

She approaches the robe in the back but does not touch it, getting a creepy feeling. When the sheriff yelled out, she ran to him.
"Raven? Do you know why someone may have done this?"

"I would need to know more about the man in order to have any significant insight. I can tell you though that there was a reason though what it is, I do not know. The area has more than enough potential for components without needing to target a specific tomb without a reason. That does not necessarily unnerve me so much as the resources used to make the claim. Enough goblins to adequately distract the town as well as come here in addition to the cloak and remains." She looks at the skeletons with a mixture of pity and fury. What a waste. "I suspect this will not be the end of it. I would like to visit the church to learn more about the individual if anyone cares to join me."

Orcetta gives a firm nod, "Of course, I will accompany you friend." A thought occurred to Orcetta. Did they leave back through the front or maybe some other way. She eased to the floor and pressed her cheek near to the stone. She eyed the dust in the room and squinted as she tried to discern the movement of creatures. Maybe I can see where they went with the body.

Surv: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

The dust was difficult to see. Instead, the fey headed back outside to see if tracks led out.

Surv: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (15) + 7 = 22

There are the same number of tracks out, but after some looking, it appears that something was indeed dragged out.

Unfortunately, the drag marks lead to the wall surrounding the graveyard and end there. Even on the other side, it appears that there is too much scuffling to properly follow the lead.
