Thanks again for running it. I am not sure what I want to play yet. I was thinking maybe paladin or maybe alchemist. But I am flexible.
LoreMaster GM |
Hey folks, I think it would be fun to play the second (and maybe 3rd) scenario with the same group. I am willing to run the second one as part of the second session of the Gameday if you all would be interested? Then if someone else wanted to pick up the third after that, that would be really cool to have an established group playing through like that.

Hey GM Garett, would you mind opening up the Gameplay tab so we can dot in? Just we can find this game quickly.
GM Garrett |
The gameplay thread has been created. Feel free to dot in.
FWIW, I'd be happy to play in the second adventure during part 2 of the game day, although it's SUPER likely that this won't actually be done by the time part 2 starts, since we're taking such a slow start due to my vacation at the end of August.
LoreMaster GM |
That is fine. The gameday part isn't as important if it is all the same players. If it is all of us, then we would just pick up once one ends. We won't need to follow a set scheduled date.
So far I have heard from meloriel, The Chess, and you. Half way there! I am excited to get this going!
Also, thanks for opening gameplay! I am dotted in!

We have heard from everyone besides yogadragon saying they are in for running the future games. He never responded to my PM.

I did not know there was a 4th adventure planned for PFS. Anyone interested in running that once since we have had a volunteer for the first 3? The fourth will probably be the trickiest to run since it is based on 10 level characters.

Not that you can make use of this yet (unless you're lucky enough to have an early physical copy of the books), but just FYI here are the rules for generating a 1st level playtest character.
GM Garrett |
All right everybody, the pdfs have dropped. I hope you're all enjoying them. Please feel free to start kicking around character ideas, the sooner everyone figures out what they want to play the sooner we can start the game. I'm more than happy to run before the official start day on the PBP game day ;-)

I clicked the download button a minute after it released. It's been hours since then. My estimated download time remaining is a whopping 1 day, 7 hours, and 37 minutes.
Somehow, I don't think I'll be having any character ideas to offer any time soon... Haha.
But, man, when it finally loads, I am there!

Wow, you might seriously want to try clicking that again in another browser window. Unless you're on the other end of a really slow internet connection it shouldn't be that slow. The file is simply not that large ;-)

I got mine downloaded, I will read when I can! I will keep you all in the loop!

I am thinking a Dwarven Barbarian using the spirit totem.

Yeah, I tried a bunch of different stuff with no success. Suddenly about a half hour ago it just decided to work and downloaded the rest in a few minutes. Very weird. Still, it worked. I am a happy camper.
I'm going to be making a gnomish bard, probably a maestro, but I haven't decided on my background yet.

I'm still digesting the playtest book, but I have so say that so far I like the way they handled the "Half-" races.
I'm not done reading through the classes (although GD fighter has a lot of class feats!) but I am currently leaning towards a druid of some kind (Granted it won't matter in the playtest, but one of their 10th level spells lets them turn into a Kaiju; just sayin').

I would recommend using this format for entering your character's data, it gives us pretty good visibility into all the commonly needed info.

Hi, Meloriel here. This is my gnomish bard's alias. She's ready to go. Only her backstory needs some work still. That and I haven't chosen her instrument of choice yet. Haha.
Kaloora Plimp |
Chess here with my Paladin of Fire :) Finishing the last adjusts but we're almost there. The main idea is here!
Lunarius Riel |
Here's Lunarius, my wizard:
And here's the actual character.
GM, since these will be throw-away characters anyway, I've only copied the most relevant info to my header, and linked to the downloadable sheet for the full info. Of course GM, if you really want me to copy them over textually, I will do so :-)
