A creature struck by a cave fisher's filament becomes attached to the sticky thread. As a standard action, a creature can rip the filament free with a DC 20 Strength check. A caught creature can also attempt to escape a filament by making a DC 25 Escape Artist check. A filament is AC 14 (touch 12), has 5 hit points, and has DR 15/slashing. Right before he can swing, as cave fisher guts splatter into his face, Clement is left standing holding his mace over his head with an expression mixed between relief and disgust.

"Good."

With a sickening crunch, Rhesus puts the monstrous creature down. Now that it isn't trying to kill you, you notice that there is a pouch securely tied to one of its legs.

Looking inside, you find a handful of animal teeth, a few colourful stones and a bracer that is the exact copy of the one being used as the mite king's crown. Apparently, you've found Clickylegs.

@Spasi; You fought the fisher in B46, but I'll move you along in the same direction(B43-44)

You've come across an ancient kitchen and storeroom, dusty with age. A few rat gnawed bones lay scattered about the pantry, but little else is readily apparent. In the kitchen, stone cupboards line the walls. A few have damaged doors, and cookware and crockery can be seen, poking through. During your nosing about, you hear an odd rustling coming from within one of the larger cupboards.

Clement winces at the sight of the swarm. After a couple attempts to swat away the creatures, his eyes widen at the sight of the alchemical flask in Bibic's hands.

"No! Not... FIRE!"

Cowled, Clement nearly drops his shield as he pivots in place and almost forgets his promise to guard Rhesus in his haste.

Turning back, he barely catches the glow and heat as Spasi's hands engulf the creatures.

"Let me know when it's over!"

Fortitude Poison: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 or take 1d4 ⇒ 3 Dex Damage.
Fortitude Distraction: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Distracted by the swarm and losing a lot of Dexterity, it's all Bibic can do to move, and move he does. Frustrated at the lack of preparedness of his fellow 'Pathfinders' he gets as far away as he can in the round.

As for route, he's planning on leaving the complex. Or at least he's going to try.

OH! Thanks to Spasi for reminding me. Ongoing fire damage from his alchemy fire from last round. +50% I think for swarms. Fire Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Spasi watches Clem flee from the fire like his own pants were on fire.

Poor guy must be afraid of fire. I can fix that.

"Clem! Come back! Look! See those flaming, crittery, crawling, many-legged insecty things crawling all over Bibic!? SEE!?" Spasi steps up towards Bibic and his on-fire swarm friends.

"Look Clem! It could be much worse than just fire!"

Spasi casts another burning hands at the swarm, keeping himself away from Bibic.

Spasi nods at Clem with self-satisfaction.

He must feel much better knowing that.

With a whoosh and crackle of flames, the swarm is consumed. The few remaining creatures scatter and disappear into the cracks and crevices or the tunnels.

Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Bibic manages to shake off the worst of the poison. 7 Dex damage is rough.

The only passage remaining to explore is choked with thick webs and leads back towards the staircase that brought you here (towards 41). There is also room 41 off of the prison

Rhesus will take the lead again, ignoring his unmanly running away from earlier.

Heading to room 41.

"Way to go Spasi! If you will it, it is no dream. Well done."

Bibic, wishing he had the potion of lesser restoration he loaned out, turns back to the party.

"We can proceed, but my bow will be much less useful. I can still do a few things, but if there is no rush, perhaps a trip to the church is in order? And maybe a supply run for more alchemy fires... and any other gear that might be lacking."

Lesser Restoration is level 2, so a level 3 caster, so 60gp per casting I think. At least. I'll need at least two, and probably three castings if it's even available today.

That said, Bibic follows Rhesus into the next chamber if the party is more interested in pressing on a bit further.

Spasi stops walking, rubbing the back of his neck. He begins to count, using his fingers to aid his memory.

"Lessee here...we fought them blobs," Spasi ticks off a finger, counting, "then the bat swarm, then them ants, then that hourglass spider that Rhesus was too chicken to wrassle," Spasi ticks of 3 more fingers.

"Then it was them mites riding them spiders, hoo boy, we scared them into hiding, I tells you. Then the crab spiders, which are slightly different than..." Spasi takes a moment to itch his nether, using that finger to tock off another 2 fights. "Then we met clickeyclaws or whatever his name was, and then that last swarm that made Clem poop standing up."

Spasi smiles, adding up the fights.

"That's 8 fights, ain't it? It's been a full day, hasn't it? And with Bibic not feeling so good, maybe we should get this bracer back to the 'Mitey King', gather our huge diamond, then head back to town and the Ladies of Cal--," Spasi's voice trails off as he remembers Noya. "Well, yeah, we should get back to town and get Bibic fixed up. You know how sore he gets when I outshoot him...and he'll be complaining all the way along about it."

Agreed, let's go to 41, then back to the Mite King, then back to fix stuff. Does someone have a loot tracking?

You travel down the web choked corridor, constantly brushing aside the thick webbing. Eventually you reach a much larger room, heavy cobwebs cover this room as well and the desiccated corpses of rats and mites lay strewn about.

"...and that's when I told her that I don't do halflings. Yeah, yeah, she wanted a piggyback ride, but I have my self-respect." Spasi says aloud, continuing his story as he walks in the webs. "So yeah, halflings suck."

Giving Rhesus a shrug, he tightens his grip on the handle inside his heavy shield and reforms his position at the front of the group next to Rhesus before turning to hear Bibic's struggles to navigate the small rocks about the tunnel.

No, it doesn't help, but it's what Spasi has.
